I am getting sick of the so-called american named, such as Mark Williams and Mike George, with thick
accents from the lovely middle east, that should be completely wiped out and turned into Disneyland
with a free barrel of oil when your headed back to the States after your stay, calling me!
   What kind of country are we where in todays technology that we cant catch these foreigners, who are
probably being paid by red blooded Americans? The SHAME!!!  Im just tired of arguing with these losers
and they knowing way too much information about me!
   Like I'm going to believe some habeeb from some trumped up law firm from L.A. was hired by some
legitimate American company to pursue me and collect a debt for which I DO NOT OWE!! LAUGHABLE yet I want break someones neck if we could ever catch these lazy out of towners who wont earn a real
living!

    I got a call from someone saying they were from the Department of Legal Affairs, phone #347-671-0307.
    The person sounded like they were Oriental...could hardly understand them.

    We got a call from Jennifer, with a thick accent from 347-671-0323 saying we needed to pay off back taxes or we would be arrested for tax evasion..We called back and talked to Daniel Rich. (also heavy accent) We were instructed to get a green-dot money card and then call them with the number.. Um. YEAH. We waited and called them back and told them we called the police department. They told me we would be arrested and then hung up.

      Good old "Jeniffer Wright " from Dept of legal affairs left message to call her back at 559) 328- 2375. Knowing a scam when I see one,  I called them back and requested that they send the good looking cops to arrest me... they hung up on me.. what s surprise

    Got the same call, they were looking for my stepdad, who doesn't even live here. I am about to call them back and give them a piece of redneck history. I called back once, and he told me they were looking for my stepdad, and he had to pronounce the name three times for me to understand it. I'm fixing to give them a redneck cussing. Number they called from is 213-289-3751. Thank y'all for posting this. I thought the call was b.s., but was glad to see other people who have dealt with it already!

      Hi, I just got a phone call from someone by the name of Alex Washington @ 213-289-3751. He stated that he was with the Dept of Legal Affairs in CA and that I was involved in some type of criminal activity and that the Dept of Treasury issued a warrant for my arrest. When I started to ask questions he said that he wouldn't give me information, but wanted to transfer me to someone else. I started to laugh and he got mad and hung up.

    Got a similar call this morning and called them back at 559-328-2375.   He said he worked for Russ Reed.  I decided to aggressively quiz them about the information they had on me.   He just continued to say there is a case against me.  The guy finally hung up on me.  Hopefully he will not call back.

    I was called 2 times by 559-328-3275 They said they were with the dept. of Legal Affairs and that I owed back taxes for 2010.
    also that a warrant was issued for my arrest. I asked them how am I to know they aren't a fraudulant company? and they said that they could send the police to my house immediately and have me arrested. I told them go ahead send the police and they and that I wanted to be arrested. They saId "ya right" and I told them goodbye and hung up the phone. I had my taxes checked for 2010 (free but time consuming) everything is in order and the police never showed. Knowing I'd been scamed. I called them back several hours later and told them that I was going to report there number to the IRS . The guy on the line said to me(I still cant believe it) , That he knew were I lived and that he was going to come over and kill me and give my wife a nice suprise. his big hard D***. Does anyone have anything to suggest to do about this?

    I got the call today and came right to the computer. The number left is 213 289 3832.They left a message to have my attorney return the call. I called and get an answer but no one is there.Ummmmm

    I get calls from these people several times a day- sometimes they leave messages, and other times they hang up on me.  I call them back and they let me know they are with the US Treasury Legal, and there is an IRS enforcement action against me (but they won't tell what it is, they want my attorney's number).  Today I called back several times and demanded that they tell what this is about.  They told me I know what it is about, and if I don't cooperate, they are sending the sheriff to arrest me at my home or office.  The supervisor is a Jason, and the top person there is Adam Jones- sure it is.  They all have a very heavy foreign accent, and if you ask questions they will just hang up on you.
    I HATE THESE PEOPLE AND WANT THEM TO GO AWAY.  I am going to call THEM 5 times a day and tell them that if they done stop calling I am sending the Sheriff after them to arrest for harassment!

    I got the same kind of call today for me. Ryan Gibson from Department of Illegal Affairs says in a very thick middle eastern accent that I need to call him back immediately to prevent a "legal action of enforcement being put on me that will cost me a lot of money and trouble". He left the tele # 567-244-4358. He also said this was a "verbal notification and would be followed up by a call from the sheriff if I did not call back within 24 hours". What a scam.

      Yeah, I have had several calls from the same (BS) Ryan Gibson. Today, 6/26/14, he gave me the same "spiel", (BS) on my voice message he gave you, but used a different phone number 213-261-0770. There is currently a warning out about this scam. I hate to tell him, I know whether or not I owe taxes, and I also  know that the IRS would have already mailed an official letter to me informing me of my debt long before they would have began a serious legal action against me. I do not owe any taxes, so unfortunately for him, he will never convince me into believing his crook.
       
      These people need to get a good dose of their own medicine. I may not be able to track them down, but if someone made them believe that their location had been verified and they where being investigated by the international fraud unit it might put a brief scare into them. Just a little vindication.

    I had a message on my machine from someone from Legal Affairs today.  Couldn't tell you what the name is because I couldn't understand it.  Said she hopes to hear from me.  They are using the phone number 567-244-5256.  I guess the do not call list doesn't stop this kind of crap.  I will try to block this number from my phone.

    They called asking for my husband. 567-244-5256 stating they were the department of legal affairs. Also with a heavy middle eastern or possibly India accents- I know that companies in the US out source quiet a bit- but this is not something that would be out sourced to the middle east. A couple of months ago got the same type of call from the "IRS"... same MO just different name this time. Phone number is going to be blocked and hopefully that will be the end of that.

    got mssg from ryan gibson from dept of legal affairs us treasury. number: 707-508-4533. real long winde. said when i called back i should have my attorney with me or i could end up in a legal mess. then said he looked forward to talking to me and to have a nice day. it was obvious from the get-go this was a scam, and stupid one at that.

      I just got a call from a man saying that I had to call a Steve Sebastian at 818-627-9292 from the department of legal affairs about a dept with the IRS. I thought it was a scam right away so I looked up this dept online, no such place and I found this site. I called them back and asked to speak to the person got another faker with an Indian accent this time telling me that a warrant was made out for my arrest and on its way and I should give them the name of my lawyer so they could file the charges against me. I said that's not the way it works, you sue me or arrest me then I give my lawyer your name so he can f... You up. I said why r u calling me? He said because we thought you were a nice lady and you would pay!  

      Just letting you guys know...these f..kers think Americans are nice and easy. Let's show them. Post to everywhere and everyone. Let's shut them down.

    Just got a call from this same B.S. about IRS Dept of Legal Affairs:213-375-0949; number tracks back to Los Angeles area. Same M.O.as everyone else. They called 4 times, after I unwittingly picked up, thinking the number was my stepdaughter. They wanted my wife...can't imagine why...women freak at stuff like this...hope they all get on a Malaysian flight  with only their coworkers...no offense to the souls on the actual Malaysian flight, just be nice to have these F'kers end up with about 15,000 feet of water over the goofy heads...and NO CELL PHONES or Data Flight Recorders!!

    I received three calls from an Alan Green at 253-719-5126.  Thick accent, telling me that a legal action (unspecified) has been taken against my name.  No results when I queried the results on line.  Scam.

    Got this call this morning from Mr. Ramon (Same Accent) from 253-719-5126 and he said I owe taxes from 2009 (I do not) said I owed 18,000 but would settle for 500.00 over the phone right now. I said no problem I will go online and get the number to my local IRS office and I will take the money to my local office since I live in DC. He got nasty with me and said we are going to have you arrested I said ok I will be right here

    Got 2 calls today from 1.904.418.9689 (Area Code Jacksonville, FL) - no message was left on the first call. The 2nd message had a male with a heavy foreign accent. ( I have talk to text so message came in as text, too) I was a male but talk/text  said name was Sarah Graff?? Reach you regarding a very important issue regards law enforcement action that has been started on your name & # Left the above #. There was also another number in the talk/text 1.704.705.9116.(Area code - NC) maybe the number they are really calling from. never know what's real anymore. Guess I'll find out if they come to my door to arrest me.

    I was able to make out the name of male that called (very heavy foreign accent difficult to understand), spoke slowly as if reading from a script. Said a legal matter and that I should have my attorney call to discuss as law enforcement action has been taken against me and to avoid a further mess, I should contact him. He then said look forward to hearing from you soon and have a Blessed Day. I doubt seriously, that US would allow their staff tell you to have a Blessed Day. (Just saying). May try and call from a payphone or blocked # and see what happens. I'll let you all know what happens.
