I am getting sick of the so-called american named, such as Mark Williams and Mike George, with thick
accents from the lovely middle east, that should be completely wiped out and turned into Disneyland
with a free barrel of oil when your headed back to the States after your stay, calling me!
   What kind of country are we where in todays technology that we cant catch these foreigners, who are
probably being paid by red blooded Americans? The SHAME!!!  Im just tired of arguing with these losers
and they knowing way too much information about me!
   Like I'm going to believe some habeeb from some trumped up law firm from L.A. was hired by some
legitimate American company to pursue me and collect a debt for which I DO NOT OWE!! LAUGHABLE yet I want break someones neck if we could ever catch these lazy out of towners who wont earn a real
living!

    The same people called my job and said that i'm being investigated for taking out a loan that I have never paid back last year. Im currently on my honeymoon and they are telling me this Bull.  When I called, the same MICHELLE BROWN said that she could not give me the case number but gave me a name of Kevin Smith who is the investigator. I have never taken a loan from anyone in my life so figuring it has to be a scam. No one spoke english. When i told them i was going to call my lawyer she kept saying call us back in 1 hour and she will have more information to give me. Whenever I would call from my cell phone the line was busy or someone would hang up. I called from my wife's phone and Michelle picked up again. Well we reported it to the police and hope that nothing more comes out of this.

    These people are in total violation of FDCPA I was told that I was speaking to an attorney by the name of Brandon Mark I was told I would be arrested tomorow for not paying back a pay day loan that I had taken out.  Funny thing is I never took out a pay day loan also this call seems to be coming from someone in India.  It is illegal to leave more than 1 message a day so far in the last hour I have recieved 2.  I have voicemails saved by some stupid lady wishing me luck.  Obviously these morons are out of the country but they deffinitly represent a company here in the United States so this company as soon I figure out who they are will have a class action lawsuit against them.  FYI this is a collection agency trying to collect a debt from a payday loan problem is I dont have a pay day loan suckers.

    I recieved a call about 10 times at m my job from Ebert Harris and said he was from the Legal Dept. of Investigation.  I call back at 415-952-3898. and said he was ou to court.  Then I talk to Michael who said I owe 595 dollar or someone would come to my job and had a warrant for me.  I called back several times and    woman picked up and hung up.  Most law firms give you more than one day.  I am tired of being harrased because I am paying my loans. Have anyone heard of these people.

    omg im getting these same f**** phone calls from these people first mike then jessica!! i asked them nicely not to keep calling my dam job but thtey contiunsly call me!! and im getting sick of it!! tlkin about a fuccn lawsuit!1 im like really n they dont speak no type of english!! everybody that has called you can barely hear them!! ughh its so freaking aggravating!! i wish i knew who and were these people was id stop them from all this fuccn harrasment!!

    I just the number 415-952-5630 and told them I reported them to the FTC and the guy hung up the phone on me. I don't owe anyone anything.

    I recvd a call from Eric Wilson.. 415-952-5630 saying that he needed my atty name and number, he called my work number saying some had a law suit against me.. I have no Idea what he is talking about.. Should I be worried that they will try to come to my job

      These guys are scammers.

      All their tactics are designed to scare you into paying them money without any proof of any "debt", any "lawsuit", or even proof they are "attorneys" like they are pretending to be.

      Calls to your work, disclosing this "debt" and "lawsuit" are designed to threaten you by embarassing you in front of your employer or coworkers.  

      They use what they think sound like "American" names, like "Eric Wilson" or "Michael Carter" to try to sound "legitimate", but in reality, they are a bunch of fakers running a phone extortion racket.  Wherever you see those names in complaints, or some name sounding like an improbable "law firm", you see the same pattern of implied threats along with reports the "debt" and "lawsuit" are fake.

      If there really was some real "Eric Wilson" or "Michael Carter" who was an attorney, he would have to change his name just to be taken seriously, as complaints against these scammers are all over the internet.  You will find that their reported phone number keeps changing, since they are using VoIP, probably calling from India, trying to keep one step ahead of the numerous consumer complaints.

      They are a bunch of liars.

    I also recived calls , and gave them my uncles number who us an attorney . The guy Hung up couldn't give no info. My uncle informed me th at they are using peoples information and socials to open up green dot accounts , so when people file claims is goes against the prsons info they. got. So everyone may wanna put alerts on there credit and social.

    I got the same call, today. But what they didn't know is that I work in the legal industry.
    Remember, if you owe money to any creditor, you will not be arrested. The creditor has to have a judgement against you. We do not have debtors prison in this country.
    Just report these phone calls to the proper authorities and forget about it.

    I called the police I. My area and put a fraud alert on my credit. If they tell you that you are going to jail for not paying a loan it is a liepeople don't go to jail for that. Now when they call u answer hello this is Sarah at the FBI how can o assist you today?

    I got a call on my cell and the number doesn't look familiar.  They left a message and said that I need to call back at 415-952-5630.  The person had a foreign accent.  His name is Michael Wilson.  He said I need to call back today and if I don't he wishes me good luck whatever happens on my case.  Oh my goodness, I had calls like this before and is fed up with it.  I did my research on this and found that I am not the only one who is being harassed.  Something needs to be done about this.!

    i was very disturbed by a phone call i received today from a man with a thick accent who called himself james, and advised me that i was going to be put in jail due ot check fraud for an online payday loan that i never received. who didn't have any information about who to contact about the matter and advised that i should have already gotten an email and if i didn't check i would be going to jail by monday. i didnt have any email in my inbox and when i called the number back the people kept acting like they couldn't hear me and kept hanging up. I don't appreciate the threats and feel as though if there was some sort of legal matter that needs to be resolved then someone should have contacted me that speaks english, has pertinent information and who doesn't hang up the minute you began to ask them questions.

    if there is truly a legitimate department of legal affairs that has an matter they need to discuss with me i'm more than willing to deal with the matter 1st hand to resolve it, and since they already have my information because i got 6 calls today, please call back by 5:30 pm at the # you dialed earlier

    i got a call yesterday from james who advised me there is a case against my social security # and that the local authorities would be at my work place no later that monday 010713 to arrest me. when i asked what the case was about and told him i was told to speak to michael carter he told me that he was his boss and that it was to late that the case was for 635.00 but now i would owe 4000.00 and need to pay it. i asked why i hadnt been contacted and how he got my information. he told me that i ask to many questions and that he wasnt able to explain any thing and hung up. i call back at the # again 415-484-6151 and it made a beeping sound and then hung up. i contacted the local authorities who advised me it sounded like a scam, and told me to speak with an attorney. I have an appointment monday morning, and i'll also be contacting ftc 1-877-382-4257. i hope they are caught,punished, and prohibited from contacting people with these fraudulent acts.

    I'm glad to see this is a scam. I got a call from "Eric Jones" from San Francisco. The message stated he need me or my retained attorney to contact him the very second I got he message. He said if I did not return the call he could only "wish me luck as the further event unfold." I had applies for a cash advance, but decided not to do it. I suppose this is how they got my number. Listen, the only time I want a man with an accent calling & threatening me is if it's Liam Neeson. What a crock.
