We purchased a Spring Air Mattress June 13, 2005 from Cajun Brothers in Conway, AR. One of the main reasons we purchased this mattress was the warranty. We noticed that the mattress was sagging (on both sides) where we sleep. Cajun Brothers came to our house, (February 2007), took pictures, measured the sag and sent them to Spring Air.

Spring Air replied that our mattress was not that bad. We needed to rotate the mattress. Not that bad? Is a Spring Air mattress supposes to be comfortable and not sag for 2 years only? That is almost $500.00 a year for a bed. I really do not think this is acceptable. We are very unhappy with this mattress. We are supposed to have a 100% warranty not to be prorated in any way.We have a king size Vienna pillow top.

I sleep on the right side in the summer and my husband on the left. In the winter, we switch. In my opinion, we are rotating the mattress. We are unhappy about the way we have been treated. If a mattress is sagging, IT IS SAGGING. It does not make any difference how much. If something is broken, it is broken. We do not want another Spring Air mattress; another one would probably do the same thing as this one has. We are truthfully tired of the hassle. We have lived with this for a year now its time something was done. We expect a refund from Spring Air.

The lady at (617)-884-2300 told me that they used Chinese springs to save money instead of american made springs. Was any one else told this? She also said the new owner will be opening the factories in the next six months and keep checking with beds direct where i purchased the bed to see when they get the new mattress in, and they will exchange it no questions ask???

My husband and myself are having the same problems.  Sagging on the sides and hump in the middle.  We got our Spring Air less than 3 years ago at Furnitureland South and they are saying the warranty is void because of a stain.  We have looked over our mattress in great detail and see no stain.  I am just getting started.

Thank you so much for this number.  I have been trying to deal with Spring Air for several years.  The person I spoke to said the company is in bankruptcy and someone named Diane will call me back.  This is the first real person I've been able to speak with. Several years ago a young man came out and said our mattress wasn't that bad.  He obviously never slept on it.  We paid almost $2000 for this piece of junk.  I hope someone can help us before I toss the mattress in the garbage and start over.  Thanks for the number.

I have had a spring air for 4 years and it is sagging on both sides. The first mattress we got from them actually sloped to one side so they ACTUALLY came out and gave us another one, but now I have been calling the warranty dept number and no response from the voice mail. They need to be reported to BBB or 7 on your side!

I have had many other mattresses and NEVER had them sag. They should warn you that their mattresses suck. The main problem is that they won't even man up and answer the phone in the warranty dept. There is a reason for that?! What are you from Spring air or something? If so you need to tell your guys to answer the phone like all other respectable companies.

I bought a Spring Air Harmony Back Supporter Never Turn in 2002 and I love it. I seem to be the only one though! After 7 years it is like new and the most comfortable mattress my husband and I ever slept on. I found this website  after looking for another mattress because we are getting a bigger bed. I don't think I am going to buy another Spring Air because I can't seem to find the exact model, otherwise I would in a second.

I am having the same problem.  There is a huge "pit" I fall into in the middle of my mattress.  I can only rotate long-ways, so my body falls back into the "pit" regardless of which direction the mattress faces.  My back and shoulders are in such pain every morning when I wake up.  I even have to sleep with my arms up beside my head, as I can't lay flat on my back with my arms down because my arms are outside of the "pit".  The bed started to sag within a year of owning it.  I've had it for 5 years and it's getting so bad, it's pretty unbearable.  Wish I had gone down the warranty path earlier.  I am not sure it's worth going through the hassle and anger of the warranty process and may just choose to buy a new bed and live with the cost.  I'll make an attempt and see how it goes.  Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

    pissed off!
We have a Spring Air Infinity Vogue purchased in 2007 that is sagging in the  middle. Paid almost $2,000. have done everything right-purchased with matching box spring, have a bed with proper support, rotated, ect.

Just called that number from WA state and was redirected by Diane to a lori webster in Utah at 801-478-1908. got a recording that said she's not in the office every day and periodically checks her messages. was told by Diane that the new company has no obligation to honor any spring air warranties.

What the hell? good luck. i doubt i will have my warranty honored.

Any reputable company will take care of all thier own warranties, Tempurpedic and select comfort excluded, because it makes it easier for you the consumer and it is easier for us to get vendor credits that way.  Persistance can pay off, don't drop your case, if you have to threaten to file complaints to the better business bureau do it. Beyond talking to repersenitives in the store send a letter to thier distubution center and thier corprate offices.  I have personally seen non warranty issues handled because it is easier to appease the customer than continue to ignore them.   Make SURE you understand what the warranty covers, most mattresses only cover impressions greater than 1-3/4", and any stains or soils will void your warranty so in the future always use a waterproof mattress cover and try to avoid bulky mattress pads.

    Hope this helps,

You won't likly have success getting your money back. Unfortunatly no retailer or vendors offer refunds on mattresses, except maybe Costco.  You should always contact your retailer and ask for a replacement. Please understand that Spring Air made great feeling products at a lower cost than what most vendors can offer, so there may be extra expense in order to get a bed that feels as good as what you origonally purchased. The full value of your Spring Air product will go towards a new product in 99% of cases, however, to get a mattress of the quality that most of thiers were you are looking at $1600+ in a queen.

    Good luck and be presistant,

A good salesperson will do you give you more than a geat deal, you will get a product that is best suited for you.

On average there is a 5% comfort exchange or warranty exchange on products, that means 1 out of 20 got bad advice when purchasing a mattress.  When you buy your next bed take your time, spen at least 1-2 hours in each store you visit and space out your visits or all the beds will eventually feel the same.

I myself return less than 1% of products where as one of my associates returns almost 10% of his, alot of finding the right bed is in finding the right person selling it.

Also understand that $1000 for a queen mattress is a very small investment over 10 years, a high quality queen set will go for $1500-$4000. Don't be afraid to invest in your mattress, you spend more time on it than anything else you will EVER OWN!

Stains and or soils imply that a fluid has entered the product. Any moisture will cause oxidation and cause the materials in the product to break down faster. Please be advised that the warranty card delivered with all mattresses state as much and most policies that are printed with sales reciets reflect the same.

I've sold many many Spring Airs in my years of selling and I can tell you a couple things about them:

Price for feel they cannot be beat! You will never find an other $900 Queen set with individually wrapped coils, memory foam, a foam encased edge, zoned coil firmness, I could go on. They gave you a product that feels great for alot less, in fact about half, of what comparable Beautyrests cost.

They do not use as dense foams in thier products. Which makes them have that sinking feeling. They are designed to give you a VERY conforming feel.

Beds break in over time. Most stores replace thier floor models every few months. After two years a bed will feel softer than it did when you bought it in the store. Go in expecting that, any good salesperson would tell you that.

My company lost our Spring Air rights because our two bigger vendors, Sealy and Simmons, were suffereing too much because thier products could not compete. When we lost our contract, because of vendor quams, Spring Air lost 60% of thier west coast sales, and they shut thier doors less than 3 months later.

They had a great product at a great price, they averaged 6.2% warranty returns, 1.2% higher than average retailers.

    Thats all

    Dissatisfied w/ Spring Air
I purchased the Spring Air Classic Series Brilliance mattress less than 2 years ago for $1200.  My husband and I both have backaches and shoulder pain for the first time in our lives, and we look forward to sleeping on hotel mattresses.  I hate to have to buy another mattress so soon, but I know what NOT to buy this time around!

My wife and I purchased a Spring Air mattress in 2006.  We were given the sales pitch that this is a great mattress and they have a wonderful warranty.  NOT EVEN CLOSE!!
I have had continuous back problems within six months of the purchase. We just waited and thought we may "grow" into it.  I'm still waiting.....

Going to try the the number provided above, however from the other posts, I don't think we'll have much luck.  Mattress Giant...here I come.

Has anyone got a resolution to their warranty issues? No one seems to want to help or talk or return my calls. I wonder if we would get any issues cleared up if we contacted 20/20 or dateline? Seems like there are a lot of people with complaints. With money being so tight right now I am going to fight them hard!
