We purchased a Spring Air Mattress June 13, 2005 from Cajun Brothers in Conway, AR. One of the main reasons we purchased this mattress was the warranty. We noticed that the mattress was sagging (on both sides) where we sleep. Cajun Brothers came to our house, (February 2007), took pictures, measured the sag and sent them to Spring Air.

Spring Air replied that our mattress was not that bad. We needed to rotate the mattress. Not that bad? Is a Spring Air mattress supposes to be comfortable and not sag for 2 years only? That is almost $500.00 a year for a bed. I really do not think this is acceptable. We are very unhappy with this mattress. We are supposed to have a 100% warranty not to be prorated in any way.We have a king size Vienna pillow top.

I sleep on the right side in the summer and my husband on the left. In the winter, we switch. In my opinion, we are rotating the mattress. We are unhappy about the way we have been treated. If a mattress is sagging, IT IS SAGGING. It does not make any difference how much. If something is broken, it is broken. We do not want another Spring Air mattress; another one would probably do the same thing as this one has. We are truthfully tired of the hassle. We have lived with this for a year now its time something was done. We expect a refund from Spring Air.

I purchased a Spring Air mattress on Jan. of '08 from Macy's. Within 6 months it was sagging in the middle. It' took me almost a year. I received a letter in April'09 stating that they would replace the mattress and foundation. I sent them a $150 cashiers check (delivery fee) plus the law tag from my mattress. They received it on May 2nd.
Looks like I'm going to still be sleeping on the same mattress, plus I'm out the extra $150. What a world.

WOW! I did the samething. I have been so frustrated with my mattress. Its bad enough that I'm only 30 years old with back problems. I had my bed a year with I noticed the sinking. I haven't attempted to process a claim because I can't find the reciept but is sounds like it wouldn't make a difference anyway. I tried rotating the bed that didn't work. I tried fliping it over and putting a foam topper on the hard side of the bed. I've finally found a solution. The sofa.

I had major back surgery 3 times and opted to buy a 'good  Spring Air matress w/support' only to find out within 2 yrs it was worse than the we had gotten rid of.  We rotated the matress every 6 weeks but still my wife could not sleep next to me without rolling into me.  In January of 2009, we filed a complaint with the furniture store where we purchased it. They asked us to measure the amount of sag and assured us our complaint would be taken care.  I've cld them monthly since Feb. asking about our claim. As of 5-28-09, we stopped by the store in person to be told, "oh, yes! we just heard from the Spring Air Co. and they have gone out of busines"- how do we know this is true... can anything be done.??

Same issue! Paid over a $1000 for this king size mattress/box springs after I was able to get back into my flooded house approx 03/2006. So, as of now 06/2009, I want my money back for piece of junk. There's two caverns, one for my wife, one for me. I'm 6 foot 7 inches, and my muscles in my back have me to in pain daily. So, is this Warranty Code 'N' worth nothing? Chateau Silk EPT made in Birmingham, AL. Bought in Mobile, AL. Was told it can't be flipped. Sure enough. I hate this d#@@ mattress.

My husband and I bought a Spring Air mattress in Oct.06 from Jordans Furniture.  After only 3 months the mattress started sagging in the middle.  We complained to Jordans Furniture and we did get a another Spring Air the following March.  After 2 years this mattress is doing the same thing again and when I tried to get in touch with Spring Air, I find out they filed for bankruptcy!! What a surprise.  We are stuck with the most useless piece of junk.  What a waste of money and there is nothing we can do about it!!

Maybe if your company had made a better product you wouldn't have gone out of business!!  You should be blaming yourselves and not that people who bought the companies product in good faith thinking that we were buying quality

We have been fighting SpringAir since last december,we bought a memory foam mattress in June of 2008,let use know if Call Action Suit comes around. We have filed a small claim suit in Iowa but they said with SpringAir filing Bankrupticy we posiblily had no chance to recover our 1,300 dollars.Oh SpringAir said the 2 foot long 8 1/2 inch deep hole in the mattress was covered under the warranty, but they didnt send a replacement for 3 months, and on the form we noted in at lease 4 places we had a Cailf. King size(74X86),So what did they send A Regular King size square(82x82).We refuse delivily and haven't heard a thing for them since. Forget the Better Business Bureau we had a case going with them. They just washed their hand of our problem and closed the case without any notifcation as soon as the Bankrupticy issus started.

I had sag start on my son's mattress around 6 months.  I didn't have all the info. for the warranty packet (quite extensive!) then, recently found the tag I had removed, but can't get a hold of anyone...heard something about chapter 11...I bought the mattress because of the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval..but with all the complaints I've read, I wonder how Good Housekeeping could ever have approved them!!!

Please feel free to contact me regarding dissatisfaction with warranty complaint regarding $1600 Spring Air mattress purchased from JC Penny in Downey, CA in Nov 2007.  Reported problem mid 2008 and been getting ignore-denial-excuse making.  Failure to respond in a timely manner to contact first and second on site inspection part of collusion to avoid honoring warranty.  On site inspections are sham of trick photography.  Expect at this point to handle in small claims court as digital (mine) pix don't lie. History of on line stories of behaviors that should attract many to boycott all JCPennys business and suppliers.

I have the just about the same problem. a sagging mattress on side after rotaion its not even four years old. more that an 1"1/2 Retailer that I bought it from Fashion Funiture in Fresno. Ca informed us of BK and said that they would go 1/2 on cost of repair by local repair shop, or sell us any bed that we want @ cost plus tax. Good for stepping up but, we have over six years left!!!! We shouldn't have to fork out any other $$$$$$$$$$ for repairs. Mabey we can contact BBB or Attorney's  for directions
    $800 for mattress JOKE!!!!!!!!
