I read a few blogs about a merchant service(squareup.com)on an excusve website.  I decided to use the service and accepted over eight hundred dollars in payments through them.  The problem is they will not send the funds due to my designated business account and I have now idea how to collect my money from them.  They continue not to answer my numerous complaints and requests for assistance.  They claim to answer every request personally which is deceptive.  On my first complaint, they personally sent me a list of measures for a certain proceedure which was fruitless and had nothing to do with my complaint.  If it was not for You Tube, I would have still been stuck on the application complaint.

    Grateful
Every other credit card merchant out there manages it, for some reason Square can't get it together.

Hello, can you please provide some feedback about SalesVu (www.SalesVu.com)?  It's like Square but with better rates and customer service.  The app also comes with a cloud-based management and reporting solution and even integrates with Facebook.  Let me know what you think.

Hi Guys, I just join got this app on my iphone and made some charges and same thing has happened to me where they  have not paid me the full amount and held on to my funds. I made a charge of $4900.00 yesterday so I hope I can get that in full since I went and increase my limit on it. I emailed them and they answered me right away. Why don't they have a contact number for customers to contact them since they are taking 2.75% to 3.00% of our money, they should have someone to answer our questions. This just don't seem like a good business practice. I am curious to hear more from you guys about this company. Thanks,

Boy, a lot of comments here.  Question:  what is their phone number.  Can't find it, nor on these posts of everyone's.  I have not started doing business with SquareUp but someone gave me a card reader.  If I have a reader already, how do I get started?  I want to sign up but it says if you sign up, they will send you a free reader.  Please help.  I will probably not sign up until I phone them.  Thanks everyone.

Wow,  I signed up and charged 5 bucks to my personal CC.  I went through the website and asked for the form to get more than $1000 back per week (or they hold it for 30 days).  I verified my routing and bank info as they requested.  I have now put more that $15,000 through their system and have never had an issue.  The money is deposited in my bank after a few days.  I have emailed support on a couple occasions and they have been very helpful.  To those that are having issues,  DID YOU READ THE TOS AND VERIFY ALL INFO.  If not, go back and read and verify.

They will not give you a number, not even a last name is listed with security replies to your email.   Just ask "Cory".  THere is no physical address for the company.

I have been using Square for several months. They sweep my account at the end of each day. Fund are transferred and the deposit normally shows up in my business account within three days. It is not as fast as my traditional merchant services, but the fees are fixed. I pay 1.7% with my traditional merchant services account. However, there are numerous fees merchant service provider tack on. The actual cost to me is far more than the rate I have been given. That is a fact of life with every merchant service provider. They up charge for all sorts of things, mid level transactions, for example. Square is a fixed fee, never more. Works great for my business.

I should have checked this company before using them!! The good thing I only did 2 transactions for a total of $400.00 dollars but I been keeping an eye on my account and nothing has been deposited!!!! I'M REMOVING ANY MONEY FROM THAT ACCOUNT BECAUSE I FEEL THIS PEOPLE MIGHT EVEN TAKE WHATEVER I HAVE IN THERE!!!

Definitely, I will NOT be using them anymore!!!!! They are scary!!

    By the way...here's a number I found for them (415) 375-3176.

    (415) 375-3176  Good luck with that though because when I called only a recording answered to leave a msg.

Lost my password. Tried to reset it twice, but haven't gotten a reset email. Also sent an email to the security team and didn't hear back. Finally called the number posted on this site, but only got voicemail. If I could actually get into my account, I would happily use Square. Unfortunately, customer service is not yet their strong suit. Hoping things will change.

I have made charges above $1000 both swiped and hand keyed.  Initially you can receive $1000 per week deposited into your account.  Anything above that is held for 30 days.  To have them deposit more, all you have to do is email in a request to increase your deposit limit.

This is where the problems start.  Getting a response from customer service.

However once you get that response.  They are willing to work.  They increased my limit to 7500 per week.

Problems:  Random or complete lack of response to customer service inqiries.  Random deposit holds that do not correlate with policy.  No one  answers customer service support phone.
