I found this complaint on-line and my scenario was exactly the same.

I received a call with a recorded voice saying the call was from "Card Services" telling me that I needed to "act now to save money on my credit cards or the offer would expire."  Then I was given an option to press a number to be connected with a live operator and the option to press another number to stop receiving any more "notifications".  I pressed to speak to the "operator" to ask why they're calling me since I am on the Do Not Call list.  She hung up on me immediately.  I tried to call the number back, but the number I tried was disconnected.

This is a HUGE scam that clearly has the gov't Do Not Call system beat.  I am getting these calls from area calls all over the country on my business cell phone.  So blocking one number will not help as it never comes from the same one.  Now if I don't know the number I have to decide if it's worth having my time wasted or missing a business call.  I occasionally press 1 and tell them not to call, but they hang up on me.  I can't imagine how many seniors, naive people etc are giving out their cc #'s to these people.  A pain in the rear, and I think we're on our own in this harassment.  Sad...

These telemarketers are driving me nuts. My husband cursed at the caller the other night and believe it or not they told him to watch his language. We have tried everything. I was able to stop them for awhile and I guess I will try it again. I push the 1 and then walk away and continue with what I was doing. It makes them mad and they hang up. I did that for a few days and the calls decreased but they are at it again. We have filed complaints with the FCC and the Attorney General but I don't think it is going to help.

I press 1 to talk to a live operator and when she answered, I asked her if she was proud of what she did. She replied yes and had been doing it for 10 years. Out of frustration, I said, " you probably voted for Obama." boy, did that hit a nerve! I got to hang up on her while she went on her rant. I can't wait for the next phone call and try it again.

    CABLEVISION SCAM BEWARE!!
They called me minutes AFTER I hung up with CABLEVISION. About an hour or so after I hung up with OPTIMUM ONLINE/CABLEVISION, these scammers called me. I think either some customer service employees for Optimum online/Cablevision are in on it, OR their calls are NOT SECURE.

Has anyone seen this pattern? IF SO NOTIFY THE FBI/POLICE. IF YOU CALL OPTIMUM ONLINE & RECEIVED A CALL FROM THESE SCAMMERS ON THE SAME DAY..THEN THERE IS A CONNECTION THERE!!!!

    OPTIMUM ONLINE IN ON IT?
IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW HAS OPTIMUM ONLINE/CABLEVISION AND RECEIVES CALLS FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEN THERE MAY BE A CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO!!

    RECORD YOUR THOUGHTS..

Hello everyone, this company uses a caller ID spoof and this is the second time in three days that they called.  They have used 605-221-2284, 250-860-7079.  If they can lower my credit card rates to 4% then why would they be calling me-let's all use common sense.  Your CC company does not want you to lower your rates so its not them calling.  And unless they are going to offer you a check to pay off your debt, then they should figure out a proper way to try and cheat you.  Also please add to the list of number that they are using, since if you call any of their number back it seems to be a non-working number.

Best to just tie them up for a long time, tell them you have to locate your last statement to get info, then set the phone down until they hang up.  Do not give them any information except that you have a 16000 dollar balance and a big interest rate, that will keep them on the line longer, since they think they might have a big fish on the line.

After repeated calls from these "people" I finally pushed the #1 to talk to a telemarketer.  Assumming that I was an older adult, he was "at least honest" and told me I was being charged for every minute I was holding him up and asking questions. When he told me I was at $40 in charges, I hung up!  IF my phone company indeed places a charge on my bill, I intend to seek the advice of my attorney.

Credit card services. Has to be a scam.
The message says 'there is nothing wrong with your account'.
When I ask them 'what account is that' they hang up.
When I say' I have no credit card debt 'they hang up.
When I tell them to 'take my number off of your phone call list' they hang up.
When I say 'I want your phone number and street address and email address' they hang up.

    KILL THEM DEAD!
Push "1", wait for a human, then shout the six words involving fornication, their mother, and her mouth.

They have called a number of times recently with an offer to REDUCE my CC debt. The message is to press 1 to be connected with a live person to discuss my options. I pressed 1 and when I asked how they got my "do not call" number, the young man hung up. I immediately called the number back and as luck would be, I got connected with the same dumb ass who had just hung up on me. I think he now has a reasonably fair idea of his parentage, work ethics and how to find a REAL job.

This company needs to be STOPPED.  Credit Card Services is a huge scam with aggressive and deceiving phone operators.  They got extremely rude and defensive as I attempted to ask questions and even said to me "Sir, if you would stop talking then you wouldn't ask so many stupid questions."  Credit Card Services represent the WORST kind of business practices and should be investigated for shady practices.

Ask them if they have a hammer.......then ask them to go find one....."i'll wait....Find a heavy object on their desk and ask that the hit themselves repeatedly in the head.....now THEY know how it makes US feel when they call.  They now owe me $66,000 in fines.  I'll just put it on your credit card.

      It's interesting...

I just noticed that you received calls in Aug. 2012 from similar numbers as me!

Mine on 8/13/2012 was from "360-474-3968"
Yours (from that time of year) were only different by the last two digits. (360-474-39??)

Since so many of the numbers are similar, they must be generating them as fake ones.

Thanks for this list cuz maybe it can help others.
I haven't bothered writing them down but I guess they'd be on my phone bill.

      I HATE THESE PEOPLE!
But lately, even pressing 1 to talk with someone has been resulting in immediate hang ups.  I used to at least get called nasty names & fun stuff like that!  LOL!

      GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Press 2 to be taken off the call list IS A BIG LIE and if you try to talk to one of their non english illiterates they hang say they will get the supervisor and then they hang up.   Too bad our government can waste so much money on trivial stuff and can't stop this total annoying scam.
