CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".

On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.

A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

    I have posted several letters over the last couple of months, complaining about not being able to get a refund, even though we did try and cancel within 12 hours of booking our flights with Cheapoair.Ca.  After see-sawing back and forth, we were indeed refunded our entire ticket money.  Thank you Cheapoair.Ca. However, we are still undecided if we would you use your services again.  Only because, of the completely differing answers we kept getting.  First we were not able to retrieve any of our money.  Then we were entitled to it, according to a woman we were dealing with, then all of sudden she was not working there any longer, and we were not entitled to it.  After much bitching, we did get all back.  Cheaoair.Ca, you need to be consistent in how you handle your policies.  Get it together and perhaps we will feel confident enough in the future to use your site again.  In the mean time..........thank you again for the refund.

    Almost a year ago my step daughter called Cheapoair and booked with them. Two hours later called and canceled. She was told it would be refunded. This still has not been done and she has called them four times and each time they have said it would be refunded and it has not been. I am with a lot of others who have had problems with them and thick they are a scam also. I would never us this company EVER!!!

    Suzy, please contact me with the booking number.  Refunds should not take a year to process, many times the customer thinks he is getting a refund when the transaction has been voided. The problem is that you actually have not been charged, it's a pending authorization and if the transaction never get's reported, you will never see it on your statement, nor will you see a refund amount.     Hello All~ I have used this company twice now, and so far no problems. I was shocked to see all the bad complaints. And have to say if I saw them before I booked my flights I would not have used them. Last year I booked 5 tickets for a family vacation. Ticket price was 300 each, after promo discount they were well under 300. Everything went fine. Printed my e tickets and no trouble at all. So now I have family back home, who is very very sick. I thought I would use CheapOair again. I was unable to find a good deal like before. But it was a short notice trip. So far everything is good to go.

    I have no complaints with this third party booking company. I also have the app, for IPhone. It works great. And I can Promise you all I am not an employee of this company or any other company that deals with travel. I'm a single mom in small town Nebraska. I am in no way getting paid for this comment. If things didn't work for some people, there may be other reasons for this. All I know I that I have had good luck using CheapOair.com

    Cheap O Air is the WORST COMPANY POSSIBLE!!!!!!!! THEY WON'T REFUND ME PLUS I HAVE TO PAY 50 AND 250 JUST TO USE VOUCHER... IM CONTACTING BBB ASAP

      I will be glad to look into this for you, however, we need your 8 digit booking number. I also want to point out that our tickets are non refundable, and you agreed to the terms and conditions when you hit the submit button. The $250.00 is the airline exchange fee, which is mandated by them, therefore we must follow the rules of the ticket. This fee is collected from any travel website you use! I can waive off the cancel fee, once I hear back from you. I am sorry for this inconvenience, and look forward to assisting you further.

    Well, shoot! I just got a pretty good price on air fare to CA, but now I'm afraid to book with them! I have put a lot of time on this trip for us.  I guess I need to start over...........:(

    My wife purshased 2 tickets to Paris from Miami. The Hindu booking agent charged the wrong amounts on the 2 CC that was being used and caused me 3 overdraft fees. When i called to complain I told them that i would need 2 more tickets and since the flight prics have changed can they honor the same price as my wife to compesate thier mistake on my bank account. After almost an hour on hold it was granted to me and i paid for the tickets. Now here is were the headache really gets worst. They claim my card was declined. So i called my bank and they said it is active and should be no reason for the decline transaction. My bank told me that it has to be cheapoair's end for not going thru. After a total of 2 hours on hold now they will not honor the price and will not take responsibility for thier mistakes. All i wanted was for them to fix the problem, charge my CC for the the price my wife paid. One agent told me that if they do that they would have to pay a penalty. WELL, its cheapoair that messed up in the first place and all i want to do is go with my wife and daughter to Paris for the the price that was honored to me for thier mistake. Can i have a Corporate Manager contact me please and get this resolved or i will have no choice but to annouce thier POOR practice with consumers!!

    stupid cheapoair. same thing happen to me, they try get around and blame on the airline. i had book a ticket show all comfirmation and til ready go the airpot. then they told me there ticket issue. suggested to book another freight with more cost. they are indian freak scam.

    people be very careful with cheapoair
    they are nothing but liar and scam.
    i paid  $1365 for a ticket to china
    i'v received confirmation in email.  it seem everything go well first, but last couple hour before departure, i called them again to double confirmed.  and i was being told they could not issue the ticket, because they worry that i couldn't make on time for the connection? they suggested me to book  another ticket which cost more.what a [***]. here is my itinerary. i suppose get arrive at new york on 2:30pm and 4:50pm departure to china (same airport and airline).  i was been travel all time has no problem with the times connection.  
    also i call china airline, and find out they don't even had my name on their system.  i need to contact bbb. to report this big scam. to me whoever people had problems of refund from cheapoair,  i think you can get your money back because they didn't even have your ticket ready.  they dont save you money, they rip you.
    trying to assisted?  my booking #15589469 and please don't ask me to email you for  further conversation.  you can respond my issue right here , so everybody can seen how dirty business of cheapoair.

      Dear Customer, per your request we will respond here. I've cut and pasted your flights, you only have 1 hr 30 minutes connecting time at JFK not 2 hours, and you are not on the same airline. You fly Delta out of Atlanta as you can see it says CODE SHARE, where you then have to connect to China Eastern different terminals. The airline is China Eastern and if there was no reservation, you would not of gotten an airline PNR code, you just didn't have a ticket number due to you requested to cancel this booking.

    STAY AWAY......RUN......NIGHTMARE.....THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY.....NO CONFIRMATION EMAIL JUST BOOKING NUMBER. I HAD TO DO LEG WORK AND GET ALL MY OWN INFORMATION 9 HOURS LATER. THEY DONT ANSWER EMAILS OR U WAIT ON PHONE OVER HALF HOUR.  I HAD MY 87 YEAR LD CONFUSED FATHER CALLING. FROM FLORIDA WANTING MY CONFIRMATION NUMBER. HE PAID FOR MY TICKET. I AM ALSO DISABLED. THIS CAUSED ME SOOOOOOOO MUCH STRESS. HE WAS WORRIED HE WAS SCAMMED OUT OF 500.00. THIS WAS ENOUGH TO GIVE US BOTH  A STROKE. I SPENT MORE MONEY ON CELL PHONE MINUTES. YOU SIT ON THE PHONE AND LISTEN TO COMERICIALS ON FLIGHT INSURANCE.  NOT WORTH IT. RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN.

    Aboyle, very sorry for your inconvenience. The booking number is your confirmation number, and you will receive two emails. One when the booking is made and the other when the ticket get's issued. We would need to check the details of the booking to make sure that the email address was correct because the first email is automatically generated, and you should of had no issues receiving it, unless it went to your junk file. I do apologize your father was stressed out, we have been experiencing heavy call volumes causing longer hold times, resulting in people sending emails.     I booked with CheapOair on 4/19 and flew out on 4/20 and I had no problems. I also booked a far more expensive flight to the Caribbean island of Dominica set for 6/12. I hope I don't have any problems like I have been seeing here. I have a booking number and ticket numbers for my wife and I. Have any of you had issues once you have been past this point? Should I call American Airlines to confirm the ticket numbers?
