CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".

On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.

A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

Cheapoair.com is the biggest scam there is. This company canceled by booking TWICE for no reason only after charging me. They still have no refunded the money even though its been three weeks. Horrible company, horrible customer service, do no waste your time, money or energy on this company because you will get screwed one way or another. If you are a victim of this website, please contact your local district attorney and report them.

Cheapo booked my ticket on the wrong dates, they say it will be 7-14 business days to receive refund. This is a scam. They should not be in business.

I spent seven hours and many lies and people hanging up on me.  I finally got to Stella the manager and we made a three way call to American Airlines and a manager helped me book just through AA and be rid of Cheopo.  The manager from cheapo tried to lie on the phone with AA saying I hadn't ever called them before a couple minutes ago and that I hadn't been on hold for hours!! My butt I hadn't!!! What a scam!!! Avoid cheapo!!!!!!!!

I am so glad I read about Cheap O Air. I accidentally got on their website, instead of CheapAir.com. I realized something was wrong, because of all the cities it was directing me to going to Sweden. I have used CheapAir.com many many times to go to Vienna, and Stckholm. Never had a problem with them, and when I got on their website everything was the same- same flights, cities, etc. Please get this scam company off. Talk to the attorney general in the city they operate out of.

    Big scam.

Never ever purchase or book through them.
My booking #4190707 was messed up totally.

But luckily, I stored all screenshots and recorded all calls on my I phone app. As an attorney, I will be taking the honor of filing a law suit against them including complaining to the BBB, Attorney General and posting on all possible blogs. Its payback time. I will take the pleasure of confronting them. It costs nothing more than $20 to start and also could do it out of state. I have all ammunition ready.
I will take it on behalf on all people who have being scammed or ripped-off.

I never thought that there are such a scam travel agent online, but am I glad to run to this forum to find out the ugly truth about Cheapo air. I'm happen to be looking for a ticket to Los Angeles so I thought about Cheapoair, but after reading all of your comments and review about this site, I'd definately stay away from it. If this is the way Cheapoair doing business, somebody at the higher power outhere should shut them down and put the guy who is responsible in jail. I smell immigrant who could be running this site. This type of people, they don't have the morale to do an honest business. All they do is just ripping people off to make profit. This is their culture and tradition in doing business. That's the way how they make money in their country. They only know how to do business by ripping, cheating their customer. They have no clue how to do a real honest business. So watch out with this type of immigrant. They still pratice their business style everywhere they go, including here in the US.

So my daughter lives in japan with her mother and i am supposed to fly out to japan every year to pick her up for 4 months every year and her mother comes back for free (military flight) to pick her up after the 4 months. Long story short i needed to buy one round trip ticket (for me)and 1 one way ticket (for my daughter). The site doesn't allow you to book a one way trip amd a round trip ticket together, which i needed to ensure i would be seated next to my 3 yr old daughter. So i purchased 2 round trip tickets thinking even though she would not be traveling with me for the start of the trip. I get to japan and pick her up and get to the airport in japan to find out that her reservation was cancelled because she was not present at the start of the trip. I was told that i had to buy another one way ticket for her to get on the flight with me even though i already purchased 2 tickets. I called CHEAPO AIR and they told me that they could not help me or give me a refund for my daughter's UNUSED ticket. I had no choice but to purchase a one way ticket from japan to texas. Does not seem fair at all.
IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!
    THANKS,
    Cory

I've been reading online for about an hour now looking for at least one positive thing about this company and I finally found this. LOL
I also purchased a ticket for May 27th 2010 and after reading so many negative comments I began having doubts! I really do wish nothing bad happens to my flight and hope it all goes smooth.. I might lose my mind if anything happens as I am not a patient person..By the way I just called customer service to make sure my flight hadnt been cancelled with out notifiying me and thank God its still OK. I am planning on calling again 5 days before my flight just to make sure.

Yes, Jerry. I called to speak to a customer care agent and the Indian woman had a very thick accent and I could barely understand what she was saying. I asked her politely a few times to repeat what she was saying but she got angry and yelled back her responses!! I couldnt believe that their agents would treat customers like that!
