The number they called you from is almost certainly spoofed, by the way.

I really can't understand how they can be allowed to continue to scam and harass people.
Blocking calls does nothing.
Asking them not to call tends to make things worse (which makes no since).
All I can do is file another complaint using the FTC 1088C form.
It was frusterating when they would call and harass/sware at me at my home, but it's much worse when the do it using my Wireless number.
I find it difficult to believe these people can't be traced and found.
FINALLY got a human to giev me a phone numebr where I could call them back. I said I had a really bad connection, sinec they were calling my cell phone.

I'm afraid of calling, then they'll have my home phone.
Them: Thanks for selecting card member services; it seems you are interested in lowering your interest rates. Should we get started today to get as low as 6% interest on all your cards?
Me: All my cards- wow. Can you tell me how many I have? I want to make sure they all qualify.
Them: Oh, we don’t know that information, but we can help you lower your interest rate.
Me: So you don’t know how many cards I have but you can tell me things about the interest rate on them? Wow- so you must work for my bank right?
Them: No we are independent credit services review company. You are eligible for review every 6-8 months and are up right now. Should we get started?
Me: Wow it’s my turn now! Guess it’s a good thing I answered the phone even though your number is from another state. To think I almost thought this was a telemarketing call! Truth is I am not sure I’m ready. Seems like a big commitment and stuff like that scares me. Are you married?
Them: Ma’am that isn’t relevant. Well if you aren’t ready you are going to pay higher interest rates until you are. Why would you want to do that?
Me: Well the voices in my head say it is because I am crazy. My therapist says it’s because I don’t value myself enough. My mom says it’s my father’s fault for spoiling me. I just think it’s because I’m not sure you are a real company. How about you give me your address and phone number and we can talk about this more in depth- or in person even. I’m not crazy- my mother had me tested.
Them: We don’t have an address. All this can be done very simply on the phone. Shall we do this thing?
Me: You don’t have an address? Wait- are you really just one of the voices in my head. STOP TALKING TO ME!! My therapist said you would go away. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Them: We’ll take you off our call list. *click*
If you used to work there, can you help stop these people from doing this?
Did you report in to work somewhere? Where is their office? Who are the supervisors?
What is it that this place does..? Are they harmful even if you don't give them any information?
I just got done filing my forty-eleventh do-not-call complaint, and I don't really expect it to do any good this time, either.
I've been given fake "800" numbers (including AT&T's numbers), and just yesterday I had an operator swear at me when I asked for their contact number for the complaint.
I don't actually abuse the operators (as some have advocated) because I consider to be victims of the real scamsters running the scheme. They're just slave labor.
We'd all love any details on their operation you can share.
Scott, who claims to be an attorney, has gone off on a tangent. He believes that just because Level 3 Communications' phone number showed up on his caller ID, that's really who called. It's not.
