They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    CPS is the worst finance company I have ever dealt with. They are unprofessional,rude and just down right ridiculous. I asked to change my payment date to avoid the phone calls and I was told that was not an option. I had them call my job at least 6- 7 times daily. If they are unable to speak with me the leave several nessages. They even go as far to dial zero for the operator and then they will divulge my personal information to her. I can not wait to pay off this car or to trade it in. And even if I am able to trade it in the show that I owe well over what the pay-off should be. At the rate im going the car will never be paid off because they add late charges even when the payment is on time.... please include me in the class action suit blackbarbie480@yahoo.com

    WOW! I'm glad I found this site. Now I feel better knowing I'm not the only one that's having problems with these rude. arrogant, egotistical "Customer Service" reps. Thes peopl have been calling my wifes family when we can't seem to touch base. They call me, I try and call tehmtehy dpon't return the call and start calling people that have absolutely nothing to do with the loan agreemant between them and me. I don't even know how they got the numbers of my in-laws, I wasn't married when I got the loan from them in 2005 and had no family of my own to put down as contacts. The few times that I ahd actually gotten to teh phone in time or talked to a live person they were rude, insulting and just plain nasty. I have a diplomatic adn laid back personaltiy so I tried to be nice and all I ever got was insulted. I finally went to the website filed an E-mail regarding their practice of calling people not even associated with my loan and giving out personal information to a third party. I told them yeah I know I'm behind, but that's no reason for their reps to act as they do and as far as I'm concerned they can take the damn car that I owe less than $3000 on. Because after the way I was treated and the embarrassment they caused my wife and I with her family, they weren't getting another dime out of me. They could pick the truck up at anytime, it's sitting in my yard and the money I'm going to put aside by not paying them I'll buy a car off of craigslist or the want ads and still have enough money to make any repairs and still have some extra cash in my pocket for the first time in 5 years. I Hate CPS.

    Sorry, I just noticed all the spelling errors. Guess I got too excited  finding I'm not the only one they treat this way. I wish CPS would down in flames like most of the other businesses seem to be doing in this economy.

    Please include me with a class action suit against CPS. They gave out my account balance to my sister's boyfriend after they called there. They call my job until I told them that I work for a collections attorney and as I transferred their call to him the ebonic [***] hung up. If you can get them on a recording telling a third party account information, you can definitely suit under the Fair Collection Act and the Judge may dismiss the entire loan.       Yes I would like to talk to someone about a repo and they took the vehicle from where I live and now saying its in west Kentucky and I would have to pay a storage and transport fee to bring it back to Virginia and I have the money to pay it off but It's a large fee to get it back should I have to pay all that for them to bring it back ,Someone Please Help

    I am actually filing bankruptcy and giving the car back to them, I cant wait to see what happens when my automatic stay is lifted. I got a feeling they are going to come and repo the car before my time is done and that is sooooo illegal. I am just waiting for them to make a wrong move, I am going to sue the s**t out of these fools. I have been harassed by them for 3 years now and I am fed up with it! and to top it off I got sold a freakin car that has been in an accident! and paid like 5 thousand over what it was really worth! I will be so glad to get rid of this damn car! It is a shame that I have to file bankruptcy to get them off my back but I cant handle it anymore and the car is falling apart and I still owe 7 grand on the freakin thing! this place is a rip! I was told out of my 275 payment only 82 bucks goes towards the actual car! so sad. I have delt with these crooks for the last time!

    i too am a victim of CPS harrassment and thearting phone calls. i want justice enough is enough. i want in on the law suit. they are very nasty and rude company they have taken money out of my account without permission and not knowing if there are funds in there they have caused many things to bounce.

    Warning if you let them repossess your car THEY WILL NEVER STOP COMING AFTER YOU!!! I purchased a car in October of 2004, then it was repossessed in Oct '05..They took the car, sold it and are coming after me nearly 5 years later for the difference..As of today a relative of mine received a call from them..I am not paying CPS one penny..F--k CPS!!!

    I have 2 payments left and I am done with that company, thank god! But they have put me through hell. They have told me I lied about my mothers death, and about my father being in hospital, bc of course they tried to contact both of them. Let me know.

    Ok I have now been sued by this company and everything was final becaus they sent the courts my old address which they have the new address I failed to show because I have not recieved notification so they won by defalt on a set amount by the court I went to my work they garnished my wages in which it was almost payed off then my finance lady at work came to me said they tacked on an extra $2000 for no reason this is getting rediculous if anyone has any info on a class action contact me at ekshywonis@gmail.com Im in ohio I will be contating the attorny generals office soon to see if I can do anything they are creating a hardship on me all because when i signed the papers they told me that I can change the pay date from the first of the month to the end of the month all i have to do is sign the papers and pay my first bill then call the company to have the date switched in which I payed the first months bill called the company and they told me that no one would ever in there company would ever tell me that and that I could not switch the dates which made me fall behind in everyother bill I had screwed up my whole life please some one any info that will help

    I filed for bankruptcy Mike. They cant come after me. I included it in the debts to be discharged. If they decide that they are feeling froggy enough to come after me for the money owed then so be it. I will own their company and be driving a BMW after my lawsuit with them is done. This is the most horrible company ever!

    They have contacted my neighbors across the street. What I do now is get the name of the person at the beginning of the conversation and let them know that last time I reported the rude behavior and then I report it. But they searched all my neighbors and was calling all them. These people are out of this world and must be stopped.

    Hello, I am a victim of their unprofessional practices.  I want to get away from this company.  My original finance company sold all of their contract to this crazy company.  So because of the problems I have been having with them, I found another company that would take over my contract at a lower price.  I spoke to one of their representatives by the name of MESIA she gave me a quote that was a settlement amount.  So the company that want to get the contract states that she gave them the same price but waiting on them to give them the paperwork.  This process started a month ago so I have not gotten any phone call from them at all, I have been calling them harassing them for final paperwork.  Finally, I called and talked to a so called supervisor named DAN and he states that just the day before after I left a harassing phone call that the settlement amount was denied by the bigger boss named BOB.  How can a representative give out a settlement amount to two people and I am the liar.  He tried to say that I made this amount up.  How can I when the other financial bank states the same thing!  I want to get this company out of m hair, they have a lot of unprofessional reps and supervisors there.  Someone contact me if you are doing something.  For now on I will record the phone calls because they are a bunch of liars.  They will deny anything they say and how is it that you giving out false information.  I believe that DAN was not looking at his computer because I made up some information to see if he really was looking at my account and he states "yeah i see that the representative did that".  Come one that mean you guys make up information to tell consumers!  Mr. President please get on these credit people.  How are they able to get bailed out but the consumers are suffering!  Do you guys agree?  We as consumers need to step up because we are the one's that create these people jobs.  Contact me with any helpful legal information at yaricars@yahoo.com.  Thanks!

    This is a terrible company..I will be so happy when my car is paid for.  Like many of you have said they leave awful messages with your friends and family when your payment is only a few days late..I would love to get in on ANY kind of lawsuit against them...my email address is ctackwell@yahoo.com
