They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    I had a vehicle financed with them. I lost my job & they were NOT willing to work with me at all. That is my disappointment. They all spoke like Hitlers Soldiers & showed no emotion or care. Vehicle ended up getting repo'd.

    I have been receiving harrassing calls from this company regarding my car- threatening repossession. They have been calling my job leaving messages with my supervisor and also has lately left a message on my vice-president's voicemail. It is absolutely insane to be harrassed like this. My supervisor has asked them not to call my job with personal affairs 3 timees already. if anyone knows how I can stop the harrassing calls and threats are even who I can report this agency to. PLEASE let me know. I am open for any suggestions. I make my payments monthly however I never see a difference in my balance and the late charges are riddiculous.

    Just like several people above my loan was purchased by them when the original company went out of business or something and the first thing I heard of from them was a letter from a debt collector trying to collect on a debt. It appears on my credit report as if it is a debt that has been turned over to collection when in fact it is just an auto loan. Just this month I called them because my payment was going to be a few days late due to my payday being a bit later then my due date so I called them and made arangements to pay it today when I get paid. The telephone woke me up this morning at 7:40 am and it was them wondering if I had been able to make the payment yet. I told them it wasn't even 8am how was I supposed to even cash a check yet and that besides I thought they weren't supposed to call before 8am he got rude and said he was just calling to remind me that I needed to make the payment today!!!!

    Haha im not the only one! Cps is very unprofessional. Just today they told my assistant i was too broke to have the day off. They have taken out payments early, on for which the overdraft fees were paid by cps, but not the second time. Extremely ignorant people.. if there is a lawsuit i want in and i have a recording of their abuse

    They call me if I'm 1 day late.  When you set uip payments throiugh their web site, the payments don't go through.  It took them 12 months to take out 5 payments and when I would call them they would tell me to call Western Union.  I have almost $500 in late fees for when they wern't taking out the payments on scheduled times.  I am currently trying to borrow the money to get away from them.  This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought and I have never had problems like this.

    I have been paying on my car for over 5 years now at 400 a month. My loan was exp and i still had late fees to be paid on. I had only 1900.00 left to pay and the repo vuy came and got my car!!! So unreal. I just made a payment 3 weeka ago but i guess from wgat the repo man said he has been looking for my car for 3 weeks.  And ofthe course itsu on a weekendtrailer when thereI closed. There a horrable company and now i am worried because they have my car. I am paying off monday so they will only have it over a weekend. They have to give me my car after i pay the full 1900and right.

    I too, have endured many of the very same types of unprofessional, disparaging, and dishonest practices on a regular basis, such as:
    1. I got behind a month, so i called them and went through an interview in which they agreed to place that month's pyment to end of loan. But i cont to receive threats of repossesion. I called them back to explain their error. Their reason? They said they changed their mind!!!! I said they cant do that but they argued it was their right, after reviewing the agreement.
    2. Ive asked to change the due date, but they said impossible. But--they said their loans come with a 10 DAY grace period. However, when i attempted to "use" the ten day window the harrassment started up again.
    3. I was advised by their cust svc dept to pay extra on my loan each month because that would go towards the premium, and pay off the "back end" of my laon. BUT, after several months, i noted that my payoff amt had not moved a penny! I called them, but they ReFuSeD to explain!! They said they,d mail me a copy...which they did, but there was absolutely no way to decipher it!
    4. I have told them to NEVR call me at work, and of course it never stopped. At one point, they finally said the ONLY way to stop the calls (many of which were not even late, according to their grace period) was to fax them a letter... Then i was told they could not find the fax number!!! They promised to get me the number, but of they never did.
    5. They are RUDE, rude, rude and they lie, lie, lie.

    Oh this company takes the cake!!! My son is the one with the loan and they call and harrass me! No I know for a fact they have to find my cell phone from some other source as my number is not the same anylonger from when my son got the loan. ....I moved across country. They talk to you like you are trash even if you are not the person with the loan. I have aske them repeatedly to NOT call me and they continue....has anyone gotten a class action going agains these people?

    Horrible horrible company....I originally had my loan through Fireside...who were bad....but CPS is over the top....the harass you..threaten you....they even called my first ex wife I havent seen in 20 years and told her all sorts of info about my loan...which I know has to be illegal... I have been about 45 to 60 days late for the last 6 months are so due to job layoff and a decrease in family income. BUT I am still making a payment...I pay online because when you call to make a payment they try to force you into committing to terms that you cannot commit to....so I would just make the payment online thru the website...I ignore the calls and the fed ex mailings...(which is a letter stating they have options to help...which is also a lie!!!)...I figure as long as I pay they cannot repo....but they threaten to....now finally after 6 months on Sunday I get a knock on the door and it was a field agent CPS has sent out.... really??.....anyhow I call yesterday and a guy named Edward offers me a deal..that they will defer my past due with a one time payment of 37.00. well I didnt have it available right at that time...so I said let me call you back...I get the money and call back...well he puts his supervisor on named Anthony J Marrazzo...this guy is a low life ...scum bucket PRICK!!!!.....He belittles you threatens you...makes fun of you ..basically a thug on the end of the phone....well he says that deal is no good and I have 24 hours to get 476.00....and I am like wtf???......so I asked what about the original deal??...he basically calls me everything degrading you can and NOW today he calls and says I need to pay 997.00...with the same threats ......you see My paycheck is deposited every other Friday in my wells Fargo account..but Wells Fargo has a 2 day hold policy..so my funds are not available until Weds...I tried to explain this to them...I also called Wells Fargo to try to get them to relaese funds because of the situation...no go.......BUT anyway.....They have blocked me from making online payments!!!!!!!!! WTH  what kind of collection agency doesnt want money?????.....so I am going to MoneyGram the payment for 470 like I do every month and hope that for 2 weeks they dont repo.....its [***]....I understand they have a job to do...but to be so evil and heartless....I have worked with other collectors /Lenders that are friendly and happy to help you out as long as you give them money.....This company must HATE money...and LOVE harassing people for it...oh and if you try to go above the "supervisor"..forget it you always get transferred to the department and told there is NO ONE above that supervisor...the poor woman I talked to sounded like there was a gun to her head the whole time she was talking to me..and she said that Marrazzo [***] was HER Boss..........any ifo you guys can pass along would be appreciated ......heres my email....lets get a class action lawsuit going...together we can do it.........they dont think you will....as I was told my Mr. Anthony "[***]" Marrazzo "You wont get an attorney..you cant afford one you loser".......well lets show that [***]....Ive tried to Google that [***] to put a face with the voice....     I am experiencing the same problem. My loan is matured since April of this year, and i owe 361 for the principal and 1600 in just late fees that have accumulated during the course of the 5 year loan. The car broke down so I called to advised that principle will be paid in 2 weeks. The lady had the nerve to say there isnt anything that she can do they will just come after me for the remaining balance. So I advised to come and pick up the car and of course she mentioned they will not come and pick it. I am so confused because 2 months ago i was threatened with repossession.

      How do "late fees" accumulate during the course of the loan?

      Don't they send statements, and require that any late fees be paid when incurred, or do they just come up with another bill at the end, when you thought you paid it off, and say you owe it?

        Was the loan originated with them, or did they buy it from another lender?

    My husband's truck is with them. They have changed our due date three times without telling us. They start calling 3-4 times a day- a week before the due date, demanding payment. They have had the description of the vehicle incorrect since purchase and refuse to change it. They change who my account rep is and every time I speak with them, it turns into a screaming match on both ends.

    They have called friends, family, co-workers and they have no problem harassing them for information or even payment on our behalf. Mind you, this is once the payment is 3 days past due because our pay date is not until a Friday. We got saddled with them because when my husband and I were young, we were stupid with our credit and had been working to correct it for years. Purchasing this car was another way to create a good payment record. CPS has not reported to the credit bureaus since we obtained the loan, but we have over $1400 in late fees. This is in part due to them changing our due dates so frequently without notice.

    We are at the point, we pay through the website, we document every payment and confirmation number and track our own payment schedule. We have a copy of the purchase documents from the dealership and any communication received from CPS, which have only been statements. If I do make the mistake to answer the phone when they call, I simply place them on hold until the hang up. Figured if they have the right to be ugly, I have the same right. I have also gone as far to advise that I record conversations for future use and use my cell phone. As long as I tell them, the calls tend to be short - but you still gets those that just don't care. We plan to pay off the car with our next tax return and after reading the documentation above, we will make sure that we do it very carefully.

    I too have the same problem with this company since it was turn over to them from Fireside.  They really have a problem with harrassing you. If there is ever a lawsuit please contact me. I have been call all type of names from this company.  Truly ridiculous.

    Everybody should file a complaint with the "consumer protection agency" on CPS.  If you know your rights they will not call your job, neighbors, or home and harass you without getting in trouble.  They can not take your car just because you are one payment late but know what in in your contract !!!!   If your interest rate is too high even if you have poor credit try looking for another company to refinance your car.  You have nothing to loose but everything to gain.

    well not as bad as some but still in the same boat with threats, calls all hours of the day and night, profanity, and lies of speaking with management, basically passing the headset to the coworker next to them, very unprofessional. these people are gathering around one cubical and laughing at my responses. you can hear them discussing the conversation and theses are the people i'm to entrust my personal information with? also i'm $2,060 from payoff. 1 month behind. and i traded in the vehicle. they're threating me with denying the trade-in approval if i don't bring the account current. can they do that? 5 days away from the check being overnight to them why would they deny a payoff over a $275 payment?

I thought it was just me thinking that everyone I dealt with in the company was rude. I have had a loan with them for 41/2 yrs, I hope to be out of this horrible commitment by middle of next year . I have had automatic payment withdrawals since I opened account with them. Why is it that they call every month asking for payment! I ask to speak to supervisor and they always disconnect the calls. So Fed up!!!!
