They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    They actually went to the judge and had the automatic stay lifted off my bankruptcy so they could come get the car. I included it in my bankruptcy and was voluntarily giving it back to them anyhow! So they wasted their money to go to court! I called them yesterday and told them I wanted to drop the car off at the dealership where I bought it and they told me no. lol So I am still driving the damn car! This is ridiculous! I wish they would come get it and end my headache!

    Same here, I just got out of 10 years in the Military and I had a heck of a time finding work.  I let them know my situation and that I was frantically trying to get a job.  I told them I have to put food in my kids mouth and pay the rent before anything and they did not like that.  I was on the phone for an hour listening to the ridicule.     They just repo'ed my vehicle... It was PAID OFF in March 2010.  We are disputing "late' charges with them.... the last 10 payment were made, and deducted from my checking BEFORE the due date. They posted them after and are charging me $25 a pop...

    add me... or email me and I will get in contact with the states attorneys office and try to initiate a class action suit myself.

    Just plain bad business
    I have 15 months left on my car payment... I will do a HAPPY DANCE when I get my title and get these horrible people/company out of my life!

    becareful posting your email addresses here if they are linked to your payemnts through them... they might try to screw you over more. my fave quote from one of their "associates" is when I complained about the $12 FEE to pay my payment... she told me "come on, $12 really isnt going to make or break you- just PAY IT!" what a rotten person!

    I used to work for CPS! They are a bunch of cheap [***]. They want you to pay so bad to get their bonus at the end of the month. You have to make your payment for them by the 31st or 30th or they dont get their bonus! If you pay late on the first of the next month they wont take your car, just get pissed that they lost their bonus. They are lying when they say they are repo men calling. Thats just the guy sitting next to them in their damn little cubicles. Also, they will call everyone you know and if they dont they will get fired. They will do whatever they can to get you to post date that check, send a moneygram or get an extension!

      I just paid them $8100 dollars to pay off my loan so i could get these freaks off my back. The money was withdrawn from my bank over a week ago and they are saying they never received payment. Who do i call? What should i do? I was robbed and now they are wanting my monthly payment... CROOKS!!

    I am going through the same harassment as everyone else out here in chicago. On the 1st I made my payment via debit card however since I did not pay on the 31st they decided to take the check that was on file to hold my account and put it through. mean while the representative called me on the 12th apologizing she sent it through ect... now a towing company is calling saying they are coming for it. However when i called the MANAGER named VINCE was unwilling to read notes arguing that I need to make a payment for a bounced check I explained that this was already paid and I have confirmation well he said PAY IT OR YOUR CAR IS MINE AND I DONT HAVE TO READ NOTES YOU SHOULDNT BE A LOSER AND NOT PAY YOUR BILLS and HUNG UP ON ME. Im tired I dont want this car anymore the past 3 years has been drama. I am all in on a lawsuit against them I will pay what I have to!!!!!

    My guess is that you actually work for CPS.....they are making a lot of money because people were late.

    We've NEVER been so harassed in our lives...CPS calls throughout the day and night threaten to come pick up our vehicle - due to late payments....The customer service department staff is the rudest people on the face of the earth..... They even tried calling from an unknown number and the customer service reps call from their personal cell phones....This is ridiculous.....They never want to work with you or make any helpful suggestions to assist you. I care not to deal with them ANYMORE...Therefore - I would like to join protest against CPS. My email is jeanettemykidz@gmail.com. I pray that something can be done to stop CPS from harassing consumers.

    Oh wow! I have become a victim of the bullcrap that CPS dishes out for. I don't plan to let this go, i am going to go as far as I can with this, if this means a few of those representatives losing their jobs or shutting the company down for good, i really don't give a damn because they don't care about the way they treat us. If you would like to be included in this class action lawsuit, leave a comment and describe what happened and an email address where me and my attorney can contact you.     I had an account with CPS probably 3 years ago. I bought a car just after I filed bankruptcy. It was financed through CPS. I cant recall any problems with them. Seven months later I traded the car in for a NEW car with lower interest rate but a slighty bigger payment. But i took the new loan with the new company and they took my car as a trade in and paid off the loan. I did GET one call and told them its been traded it heres the number of the place I traded it to, and all further contact be with them. Never heard from them again. the place where I got the car did say they were nasty to them too. but account paid satifactory on my credit report. Well three years later I traded the previous new car for another new car. luckly not with cps again. My friend decided he wants a new car too and got CPS as his finance company. Already they are kinda harrassing about his income blah blah, so they say its still in the approval process, ok what if they deny it, does he get his downpayment back if they dont approve the loan. and have to return the NEW car he has been driving for 3 weeks. so we will see how this turns out, but i never had any problems with cps in my 7 seven months of paying ontime! then traded it!

    We all have problems we all have debts we all have sickness and death in our lives if we try our best to pay are bills on time we would all be in a better place,. Help yourself out . Take responsibility, the world would be a better place in the long run quit thinking you are owed something.. You reap what you sew\ grow up and take responsibility.

    I am in absolute agreement in suing this company. They harass me at work, my friends and family. Talk about my business to them - which is completely against the law. THey are the biggest group of [***] I have ever met!!! I would be in for the law suit. This company is outta control!! They talk very rude and down to me and harrass me. Plesae let meknow!!

    My bank account was broken into and ms. edwards told me it was not her problem...that i have til 3 pm to fix it. All i wanted was a one day extension and hse had no part of it. She is so rude, i cant believe everyone who works there is perfect...they allneed a reality check. I would be in for the law suit!!

    I also have an account with them and My family has been contacted and told about my personal account information.  I would love to be part of the class action lawsuit.  They have also called me after 7:00 pm which is against the law.  jclark530@live.com
