They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    I have been rading these complaints and am astonished that they sound so much like all the problems I have hAD with this company as well. They make threatening phone calls to my family, my house, and my work. I never talk to the same person, and everyone I talk to is very unprofesional. We have had our vehicle financed through them for about two and a half years, and I am so ready to be done with them. If anything can be done...count me in...felicialynnl@live.com

    we have also had bad experiences with cps. we had a direct withdrawal setup for 10.00 fee and they decided that they would take the amount out 2 weeks later and of course it didnt go through and then we go charged from our bank and them. and i just reviewed our account online which i didnt know we could and every month since we've had the account theyve charged us a 14.95 late charge fee even if it was paid on time. this is bull crap! no wonder we're behind since they have decided to charge us ridiculous charges. ive even paid 2 payments a month several times and then theyd charge us another fee. havent heard from them in like 4 months and now theyre calling me. my husband is deployed and i have to take of everything and ive decided not to talk to them cause when i do they are sooo rude to me. i dont make the money my husband does. thay even told me one time to get a job and maybe we could make the payments. um that is none of your business! u pay for my sons daycare and then we'll talk!

    I have had many problems with this company they insist that we owe them 99.64. I will be contacting an attorney to start a class action law suit against them. They can not prove to me that we owe this.

    I have gotten to the point before to where I was going to file bankruptcy to get these guys off my back. I ended up just using the money to get paid up enough to keep the car, but they have added sooo many fees onto my account its insane. And are the most unprofessional people ever!

    I was diagnosised with cancer: sent a letter from the oncolgist and was 1 month behind. CPS called my neighbors; and also left a message with my 13 yr old son at that time 12 that his mother is going to jail and will not get out(I might add my son is a very high functioning special needs child). This company also demanded from my neighbors information if I was truley ill or not.  Lawsuit I want in ascoach2000@gmail.com !!!

    This is the WORST company ever! My husband is the only one working in our home because we would lose money to day care if I worked. In the end of May he had carpal tunnel surgery and was out of work for 5 weeks. I called them on June 4 when my payment was due on the 1st to tell them why I had not payed and gave them the date my husband was allowed to return to work. They told me they couldn't do give me an extension until later in the month and to call back. They started calling me telling I hadn't paid and they would come take my car. I asked about the extension and was told I didn't qualify, so I sent them a letter with all the documentation proving my husband had surgery. Then they said I would get an extension when I called and gave them a date I would pay. Needless to say they turned around and told me I couldn't get an extension because there was no money left for one?!?!? Makes no sense to me. Then said they wanted my banking info with a date I would pay. When I refused to give the lady access to my banking she got extremely rude. What gives these people rights to talk to you as if you are scum. I shouldn't have to defend my character to them. What made me really mad was that I have been paying early every month and paying extra. I didn't even owe a full payment.  I have only 5 payments left and I will never deal with them again.

    I will like to be in on the lawsuit, same problems went to hell and back with them, when Iam 1 day behind they call my work, my mom, my friends and they told them all my bussiness, even when I send my payment of $300 and supose to be $305.0, So all of the obove sound just like I esperience with CPS.     I hate to say this but if you pay your bills on time they don't bother you. I've never been late in the 3 and a half years we had them they never had to contact me. I hope you guys get this figured out. Even if you had another company they would call you if you were late. Duh! They deal with people with bad credit. They have to protect their intrests. I can't believe you people are surprised they are contacting the people you put down as references. I think if your a day late they should be able to repo it would keep interest rates down and save people money. By lowering interest rates.

    Nice trolling Kevin. It's painfully obvious that you are an employee of CPS. FYI I have had loans through other companies in the past. All I ever got from them was a phone call asking for an explanation why I was late, which happened rarely. Once I explained the problem there were no followup harassing calls to me or my contacts. No other company calls two weeks prior to the due date of your payment to ask for money like CPS does. No other company calls their customers "loser" or "deadbeat" during a call either. I could go on but you know the rest. In summation, no other company, nor their employees, is as unprofessional and shady in their business practices. You work for a barely legal loanshark outfit.

    This company and its employee's are a freaking joke!!Its obvious you don't need any collections experience or even telephone etiquette at all. All they care about is the payment bottom line. There is no such thing as customer service here and if your interest rate is 14% and above can you blame them? I think overally they should be respectful to their customers but the thing that bothers me is there is no customer service department its only a collections department...lol I can't wait to pay my last payment on this piece of [***] company. Everyone there should just kill themselves literally! I wish someone would call me 7 times in one day and I'm late one freaking day i'd cuss the entire organization out. I only found this page because I was trying to find their website to make my payment ontime before the phone calls start...lls stupid [***] finance company they'll never be a top notch finance company they'll always be around for the effed up people... umph!!     I was researching for any complaints or any feedback about this company "CPS" and I found this site. I read all your complaints, your experiences with this company's unprofessional, rude, low class customer service representatives! I agree in all of you and felt what you have been through. It just sucks to be dealing with these people, they have no empathy of your hardships. I got my car in 2006, I have been making payments on time, I was never late until this year that I lost my job. I am a single mother and has been struggling with making ends meet. I lost my job in early 2009 and found a new job that same year in Sept. and lost that job again about two months ago. In 2009 I was receiving unemployment checks and been making my car payments on time in spite of the financial hardships because I need my car for my job search. Until this year when I lost my most recent job, I have been behind on my payments for just 1 month (my EDD check is not enough for my rent, car and auto insurance bills). CPS have threatened me to take my car away, they call me everyday, they said they won't stop calling not until the payments is brought up to current which is what I have been trying to make arrangements to.     Its not about not paying bills, and you never know what might happen to you or your family down the road. Its not good to use that " you should pay your bills" [***]. I completely expect a collection call every day to my employer and any contact I put down as a reference. However these people have cussed my grandmother out and told her they are going to report my car stolen, told my friend they were the police and they would be there to interview her about my where abouts. They have released all the details about my account to anyone who will listen. And this is all over being about a week late. But will never leave a rude message because of course its recorded. Best thing to do, tell them its being recorded and they are not so ballsy. Hope you never have to experience this and fall off that high horse your on.
