They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    Well i think you are full of crap !!!! if you were 2 months behind they would be calling you every f*ing day like 12 times a day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!why the hell are you even on this site ??????

    I am wondering if you have had any response from attorney general yet? It sometimes takes a while because they go back and forth the complaint from you and the co. You are complaining against. I haven't gotten response yet I am in PA. CPS is nonstop calling me even more now that they have gained possession of my vehicle and supposedly sold and are demanding balance from me but yet will not provide me with any paperwork showing any proof of sale of vehicle or amounts guess they think I'm just gonna take their word for it and commit to an amount they are saying I owe. Not happening! I will keep checking back her for your response hope you are having better luck.

    My mother has a car loan with them and because I made a few payments for her, they constantly call and harass me about her loan.  It has gotten to the point to where I had to change my cell phone number because they were calling so much.  They are also rude as all get out.  This lady named Palma called me and when I asked how she got my number, she said that my mother had put me down as a reference when she completed her loan application and used my number. I told her that my mother has had her car for 5 years and I've had my number for 4 months because I had just moved so she couldn't have gave them my number. Then she said that they were taking action against me because she hadn't made her car payment.  Being that I used to work for a collection agency, I know how the FDCPA rules work.  I asked her what action was being taken against me and she replied that this was going on my credit report.  When I asked her how are going to put this on my credit report and I am not listed on her loan...she gets rude and nasty and says that it's none of my business....WTH...lol...I told her if it's going on my credit report then it is my business and that if she didn't answer my question I was going to contact my state's AG and report them, she put me on hold and when she realized that I was not going to hang up she hung up on me.....lol.....a bunch of geniuses I tell you.  Then just today, they called and started harassing my 78 year old grandmother being their usual rude and belligerent selves.....If anyone is able to get a lawsuit going, please contact me parissj1@yahoo.com

    PLEASE PLEASE ! Let me know if you all are going to file a class action suit I would love to be apart of it. I have had CPS since 2007 and from the start they would process my payment late even when it was paid before the due date. I now have 2200.00 dollars in late fees. There is know way that is possible in the last 6 months I have been making double payments and none of it has gone to the principle payment. They sent me a letter on 03/16/2011 saying that paying late would not be tolerated anymore.There is know way I am behind when I have been doubleing my payments.They are rude and mean they call all day they even call my grandmothers home and I never gave them the number.They have gone as far as to come to my home to collect a payment that was only a few days late.     they have been calling my family and friends and i ask them if tey could refiace the truck to make the payments a little easier for me to pay since i am unemployed the said no  if an one knows how we can suethese people please let me know

    I agree and would love to get in on any lawsuit.  My car was to be paid off in November.  I get that I was behind a few months, however late fees shouldn't add up to another year and a half of payments.  My car is a 2004 and at the end of the day will end up paying close to $20,000 for it.  They too have threatened me and called friends of mine, they have emailed me, they used to call me at my job a few times a day and scream at me.  I had set up a payment with them, a few days before the payment we found out my husband's check was going to be short so I called them to change the date, they told me no, I said fine, it's going to get returned, and sure enough it did.  If anybody has any information please email me....shanmom95@aol.com

    I would liek to be included inthe CLASS ACTION suit against CPS - this is a long list of issues I have had with them dating back to 2009.  They supposly went out of business and sued me at the same time for a car that i told them to come an get.  They refused to come and get it but sued me anyway after charging it off.  I didn't have the money to fight the attorney they sicked in me The Moore Law Group so I was left holding the bag for a car that they would come and get.  SInce then the car has been impounded and I'm sure it has been sold by now.  But CPS has been checking my employment history.  Please contact me I sould love to sue them also for all the false statements, harrased phone calls and not coming to get a car then trying to sue me for it

    I too am being harrased by this rude a88 company.They will call your job even after you tell them that you cannot except those kind of phone calls, they called my husband's job as well he cursed them out and hung up on them. These employees are breaking the law.I would love to get in on a law suit against their sorry rude behinds.

    I thought I was the only one. CPS is so rude. Every month they call my home and work one day past due. They threaten me to repo my car. The way they speak to me is wrong!!! I can't speak to a supervisor ever. I hate this company. I would sue them in a minute, so whenever anyone starts process I am with you.

    I am with you CPS is horrible I thought I was the only one.. One day past due they call everyone I know threatening to repo my car. They talk down to me. I can never speak to a supervisor I will be behind anyone who wants to sue them.

    I am in with the law suit they harrase me and I paid my payment and now they added 286. to my account but no one can tell me what it was for and say i am late I am handicapped and the check cleared my bank on the 7th and they charged my account 5 for being late and it was already posted to my account on the 4th now they want the balance due.  I would love to sue them as the have left message with others about my loan.

    My trouble with CPS started with my very first payment, I was using their internet payment option and made my first payment a week early. The day after the payment due date they contacted me at work demanding to know where the car was. They said that since the first payment was late the contract was voided and they were taking the car. The woman on the phone didn't want to even listen as I explained the payment had already been made. It took me hanging up and calling back and spending my entire lunch hour on the phone while they looked for the payment. Their excuse was that they used two different systems and they didn't "talk" to each other... I didn't even get an apology when the payment was found... They do seem to enjoy threatening their customers with jail and say that they can cancel your plates... It helps to know what they can and cannot do... I repo cars for a living so I laughed at them when they tried that nonsense on me, I know what the law allows me to do to recover a car and it's nothing like what you see on tv. The best thing I did was to hide my vehicle indoors on private property, change my number and ignore them, and call in and make payments when I could. Once they figured out that the only way to get my money was to be nice to me they turned out to be very pleasant to deal with. They even sent me a Christmas card.....

I have been receiving hassassing calls as well as friends of mine regarding my account. I'm not even a whole month late and was being threatened with reposession of my vehicle.

    I voluntarily surrendered my vehicle over a year ago and they are still harassing me at work.  I was just informed that they called two of the attorneys whom I used on my initial application with them today asking for them to have me call.  That is totally unacceptable especially since I surrendered the vehicle back to them over a year ago.

    I called on April 9th to get my payoff. I have paid for 3 years and NEVER been 1 day late. They give me a pay off of 4701.16. I got a personal loan and wrote them a check on the 9th to pay off they recieved my check via FEDEX signed delv confirmation 11th. I got a call today the 14th that I still owe 84.16. WTF!!!! How do I owe this when I sent the check overnight. They claim it is interest charges for 5 days. WHAT is my interest 100% jeez. They are already hounding me. Blood suckers. don't feel bad folks that have had a behind payment or two this is happening to everyone even people who have "Thank GOD" never had a late payment.
