They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    Call and ask to speak to Linda Springstein. I was told the same thing about supervisors. I finally talked to her. I advised her I would not speak to anyone else regarding my loan because of their tactics. If either of the two gentlemen called me I would have them pick up the vehicle and they would be the last debt I pay off. I have not had any more trouble with them. This was in January 2011.

    These people are ridiculous. they tell me I have over $1000 in late fees and I still made my payment every month. Over $19 very time its a day late and I have asked these folks repeatedly to change my due date and they just won't do it. I live in Alabama and I want in on this if a lawsuit comes about nrush36@yahoo.com

    I actually had a man from there Tampa office tell me that he was going to come find me and knock my [***] teeth out. How is that for professionalism?

      Hey Putz! I did pay my bill. As i matter of fact i sent them $8100 dollars for my payoff over a week ago. My bank shows money withdrawn but CPS is denying receipt of payment. Tell me they are not CROOKS.

    I was also tormented extremely. I had to go to a mental institute. My life hit bottom the very next month. First of all, my first payment was late because no one told me where to make my payments. Then I arranged for direct deposit. But my life went south; I lost hours at work and list goes on etc... I called them ASAP to let them know, and they got so mad at me. I was told that the cops were behind me, and that CPS could track down my whereabouts through the phone. I had to let them know that I had a mental breakdown and is very suicidal. I was told who cares by one of their employees. I had no control of my own thoughts or anything. CPS had went into my account after I had told them not to. That caused me debt with my bank over 100 bucks all in one day. This has given me high blood pressure, made me paranoid. So I wanted to deal with them no more. I asked them to come get the car; they said no! I was told I would be put in prison. Also that CPS had reported the car stolen, and my son will be taken away. Then I tried to take my life after threats about my son. He was all I had left. The car got impounded. I called them to let them know again to come and get it. Well, it got worse with cursing, and threats to me and my son. They even called my sisters to ask them for money to pay them. I was not able to handle life on my own. Then to have CPS now known as CPS Inc to mentally torture me as well, I had enough. Today I received a letter saying I owe 6500 on a car I had in 2007. I still suffer from anxiety, depression, and list goes on etc... Mr. Williams was one I talked with today, and he was so nasty I had to hang up the phone. Then I told him I will let a lawyer handle this. Mr. Williams screamed, 'Well if u got money for a lawyer u can pay us. So can I get in on this too? Someone, anyone please tell me.     iwas reading your message.i had a hard time with them also until they finally took the car. but i file for bankruptcy and they give the car back.

    I believe the best way to go about this is to contact the Attorney General's office too. So please get the writing, I will have mine ready Monday.

    I am really praying that someone is getting this lawsuit together.. they caused me to loose my job.I was harrased at my job,they identified themselves as CPS (which here is child protective services) and said it was an emergency re: my families welfare. when I got on th phone they said well "that put alittle pep in your step"..they would call my home and told my husband to get off his "lazy a** and help me pay the note" WE HAD MADE ALL OUR PAYMENTS... they eventually came and took the car from my office ,said I was 1 payment behind ,however I faxed the proof to them that I paid it and all the others ,they said I am such a Liar...they are out of control and need to be shut down. now they are reporting to the credit bureau under 2 different names for the same account. all with different balances. please email me if someone is taking them to court..marysmiley7@aol.com

    MS.Springsteen is the one that yelled at me while I was at work.. She is no better and mis identifies herself also.. be careful!!!!!!!!I wish we could personally sue her.. or better yet show up at her door like they did mine...

    Antonio just for the record I did make my payments, actually paid extra each month, called for my payoff and paid it , they then started calling me saying I didnt send the right amount  and that I am getting late fees added daily.. some of us do pay and still get harrassed by them. I am not paying another dime they are crooks. they mis identify themselves and harrass people. if you pay on time good for you but  just wait till you pay them off or think you have paid them off...

    i would like to sign up to be part of a lawsuit or classaction suit against CPS.  I purchased my car in Nov 08 and had no problem until I was in the hospital for a month and got behind and have continuously been harrassed by them.  I just spoke with them this morning and told them to come and get the car.  Their response was we can work with you, I told the lady no they couldn't because last year I asked for paperwork to split my payments and never received it and I was tired of being called and of them calling family members and my job, so come get the car.  They don't want the car just want to gorge payments.  Last year I went to a dealership looking for a new vehicle and called for a pay off amount.  The figure they quote to me was $13,193, this year exactly one year later, I called for a payoff and the amount is the same, how is that possible?  When I asked the question, no one could tell me.  They have applied my payments to other accounts and once I got that straight you would think all would move smoothly, not so, they charge outrageous service fees (for what I have no idea and evidently neither do they) since they can't explain what the fees are for.  I would like to join on a lawsuit.  By the way did anyone ever get a payment  coupon book from them?  I have never received one just periodic statements (not even monthly) with these service fees and statements that I am 2 months behind.  I pulled all of my bank statements and I should only owe them approximately $4000, but no it is triple that amount plus extra.  They need to be closed down.  The last time one of them spoke rudely to me, I blew a whistle in their ear and will continue to do so as long as they harrass me.

    I'm having tha same problems as you all are. I received a call on yesterday June 21, 2011 after making a payment arrangement with them on Monday and the lady wouldn't give her name so i asked to speak with a supervisor she asked me for what. I told her I have a arrangement already so why are you calling me she says I want to know if you can make a payment before that I asked why are you calling i have arrangements already. She refused to let gve her name and to let me speak with a supervisor so i hung up the phone. I received a call this morning and a message was left saying your payment arrangement has been voided because you were rude and you need to stop avoiding the calls. They have called my aunt and mother about my financial business that is not legal.

    Include me in on the class action suit. I have more but when the time comes it will all be addressed.
