They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    I complained to the Attorney General in CA today and going to do it in my state tomorrow. Find on your contract who their Investors are and start complaining to them too. Do everything you can. Help people out and go to your car dealer's reviews and encourage people not to finance through them. The internet is powerful use it. I am posting everywhere I can to hit them in their pocket. Good Luck I feel your pain they are trying to make my life a living hell but I will keep going posting negative everything everywhere I can.

    If there is a lawsuit I would love to be in on it.  The have called my neighbors, my elderly parents, my job, you name it they call it.  The thing is I am never more then 3 weeks late, and rarely ever late with my payments.  I'm selling my car to get rid of them.

    This comapny violates FDCPA.  They tell my grandmom and neighbors about my payments being owed.  They leave all information on a phone number that doesnt disclose me just a recording.  The threaten to take my vehicle when its not even in repo status.....If you hang up they call right back...Im in lets get these @@@@.......chante.meares@yahoo.com

    I am a victim of being harrassed by CPS, to the point I don't answer their phone calls anymore. They have also calle dmy references a number of times even my Grandmother who passed away in May 2011. After speaking with someone from CPS I found out that they were a third party collecting the loan for another company, whom they did not mention.

    I am so sick and tired of them they are so rude and they talk to you like your not a human being. I agree a lawsuit needs to be filed against them, because they are known for harrassing people at home, at work, and through third party.

    I told my mom to tell them that she was going to file harrassment charges against them if they called her again, and they have stop calling her.

    If everyone here contacts frasherlaw.com to begin a class action suit, I am sooo in.  These people keep giving me false fax numbers to their title department.  I cant even get the title transferred to PA so I can register my car here.  My plates have now been expired for two months.  What a process.  I have written letters and called continuously.  Funny how no one in customer service knows anything about other departments. Plus, I make my payments every month, no issues.  They are rude when I ask for something as simple as a fax number.  Wow.  

    Everyone interested in a class action suit, can forward me their emails, and I will contact a legal entity to take care of these matters. They have already have dozens of lawsuits over the past year.

    I want in on this lawsuit as welll these people are horrible.  smittenp2@aol.com  the have harrassed me called my family memebers
    when i was 1 payment behind and i had already talk to them about when
    i was sending the payment due to a layoff.

    Hello everyone, I also had a loan with CPS, however i just finally paid the car off and am glad to be done with CPS. I have had many problems with CPS and recently sued them and won. You can request a P.O.E,no calls to place of employment in writing to CPS and they will not be able to call you job, That was my first step in this battle with them. Then CPS, called my neighbor to get info on the where abouts of the car, and thats when i got them. That is against the FDCPA, FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICE ACT. CPS cannot harras you, nor may they threaten you, by saying they will call the cops, when they dont intend to. Should anyone need advice i am not a lawyer but i maybe able to help.     These people are the worst. I lost my job and called them to see if there was any way they would lower my payment.  They flat out refused.  I told them then I couldn't afford the car and to come get it.  8 months later I get served with a complaint in replevin that I was "hiding" the car which is total BS. I told them the car was parked right out front where they served me.  Two minutes later the tow truck came and took it.  Now they want the full balance on the car.......I hired a lawyer and tried to settle with them for a payment plan but they said no. They want the entire amt.  Well, let them try to get it.  Like everyone else on here they called and called and harrassed not only me but my family, friends even my landlord.  I've had to change my phone number at least 3 times.  Now I fear they have gotten a hold of my new number.  Someone has been calling me every hour on the hour between 7am and 4 pm for the past few months. I never answer it.
    These people are [***]. I heard that most car dealers won't even use them any more. I hope they go bankrupt and disappear.

    yes these people are absolutely ridiculous!!!! i myself have fell on hard times and there is absolutely no working with you at all. cps has just called repeatedly and threatened to repo my car and have even told me to clean my possession out of it because they were picking it up asap. i have never experienced such disappointment with a bill collector. i cant wait to be rid of these people and i wish i could just pay off my car so i could tell them to [***] themselves!!!

    i am am with you all, ive fell on hard times and some months i can only afford to make a partial payment. these folks call repeatedly and they did work with me the first time i lost my job but after that they have given me a hard time. i am sorry that my husband and i have 3 kids and we get up every morning and go to work and we still struggle to make ends meet. this world is a hard place to live and it really burns my ass to see all the damn drug dealers and people that dont even work drive nicer vehicles than i do and probably are better off than me and dont have these rude unprofessional folks breathing down their neck. why cant you get some credit for trying i mean im sorry but if i have to pay my electric company or cps then cps you are waiting. i hate how cps employees treat you like your a dog. they act like they dont owe anybody whatever everybody owes somebody and i pray everyday that these people are brought back down to level where they need to be.  cps you rude unprofessional people should really be ashamed
