Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.

However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.

(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

      I shifted my TV and fridge from Delhi to dehradun. It's 3 days now and did not received my goods.
      They are now asking to pay remaining transfer amount, but earlier it was agreed to pay rest of the amount on delivery.

      Please suggest how to proceed

    I will never ever chose AGARWAL packers and movers , they say something and fool the customers, they damage half of the things and they even don't give claim for that , they damaged my washing machine , sofa (which was a new one ) , they broke my crockery and my wooden dinning table chairs and the claim I got for all this was rs 0, my luggage and car was supposed to reach in 2 days (as said by them) it took 2 weeks for the luggage and car to come and without our permission they broke the seal of the truck in the midway and shifted my luggage to another truck and afterwards they gave the escuse that the truck stopped working  in the middle of the way.if that was the case then they should have asked us before breaking the seal. I WILL NEVER EVER CHOSE AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS

    I had my car transfered through them and though it reached late by 3 days, the more shocking thing was that my full tank was almost empty. They either drove my car for 400 km which is highly unlikely or had my fuel removed manually. Cheats and thugs, they should be sued.

    The well-established reputations of Agarwals(DRS group) continues.
    My consignment left Bangalore 11 days ago,and still hasnt seen the light of day in Mumbai where it was promised to be delivered in 5 days.
    They seem to have spent a lot on commercials with all "political-like" promises to attract new customers, SIMPLY becaue they might not be getting any business from existing customers.

      Very true.No existing customer will go to DRS Agarwal Packers and Movers after their first experience which will definitely be very very nightmarish.Only marketing will not yield good results in the long run.DRS Management must realise this and mend their ways and start providing better services immediately

    They provide a very horrible service! So many of our goods were stolen, worth more than Rs.20, 000 while shifting from Chennai to Mumbai. And our LCD was broken. It was a very huge loss for us by transporting our household items through these packers.

    We trusted these packers after going through ads and their website. But these people turned out to be bloody ROGUES !

    Even after calling up and complaining about our missing lagguages, no action was taken. They are one of the worst packers. We had a very horrendous experience. They are ROBBERS !

    Our experience and recommendation - Highly avoidable.

    I shifted my stuff from Faridabad to Nagpur and my experience was terrible, my double bed mattress was toured badly, My double door fridge leg broken, my treadmill component went missing, my computer table leg broken, lot of scratches on treadmill, my all plants and pot went missing, damages to my AC, my washing machine power plug broken, Its pathetic, never ever think of Agarwal DRS when you shift your home stuff, its hopeless......Don't go for Agarwal DRS.....its pathetic..

                   My consignment (used House hold goods ) was dispatched on 21-06-2015 from Delhi Rohine sector 13 flat 2b through Agarwal  packers and movers and now it has been 9 days still my consignment has not reached destination and your staff is not able to track my consignment and not able to provide me valuable feed back .
    For a truck to cover 1000 km distance(delhi to srinagar) will take only 3 days , but now it has been 9 days and your staff members are not enough smart to update me current status of my consignment and stating with the reason that the truck driver cell number not working . This seems unprofessional and i pay the money in advance .I experience very bad service and spend alot  of money on phone calls  , but all in vain .
    I request your good self please look into the matter, that will be yours most kindness.

    I'm totally confused about who is the genuine service provider. They own many websites in the same name like www.agarwalpackers.com,www.agarwalpackers.in,www.agarwalpacker.com, etc .They both claim that they are genuine. But when i tried to contact the branch office nos mentioned in the website, it goes to the same person. There is something wrong,i feel . Worried about whether to proceed or not?

    Poor service,  I never thought that you people who claims to be the best in shifting would be so ignorant to customer service even your person who packed things were so good that I mistakenly percepted you to be good its all fake, no customer support.

    Unfortunately even after doing a lot of research I was not able to save myself from the misery......Check out the video I made of my things (what's remaining of them) after receiving them. Not to mention half of them were never recovered.

    Even I had similar experience with Agarwal DRS group. The service is pathetic. They claim to shift good in 10 days. However its been 24 days and no one knows about the whereabouts.

    The phone is not being picked and emails being ignored.

    Its better to book a local companies rather than through the DRS group.

    This company is the worst company. They made all the false promises and took my goods ( worst packing material) and the payment . Which is to be transported from Delhi to Mumbai....they gave me assurance that it will be transported within 4 days. And these mother ₹&@₹ers took 47 days to deliver. They didn't reply to my mails and whenever they picked up my phone they said it will reach in 3 days. And when it reached after 47 days... They broke three of my stuffs( washing machine, TV and fridge). And when I called them back to register the complaint, they didn't pick my phone and now I have lodged a complaint against them... Let's see... These [***] will not find space in hell too forget about heaven... I crushed them from the bottom of my heart....beep beep beep beep beep beep
