Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.

However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.

(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

    Very poor service by Agrawal Packers !!
    As I have booked my 2wheeler / household goods with ACM on 3rd August from Dehradun to Aurangabad with committed delivery within 7 to 10 days..
    According to schd i have shifted my family from Dehradun & awaited for household goods..
    Now last 3days I am tracing my shipment which was expected on yesterday which was committed by APMC at the time of booking.. After 2days chasing finally yesterday my call connected with delivery deportment, As convey by him my consignment is reach upto Delhi Now & Awaited for further connectivity for Aurangabad.

    This is very surprising & socking for me that since past 10days my consignment move upto 250Kms. only...??
    Road travel from Dehradun to Delhi is only for 6 hrs, Wherever APMC vech have taken 10days to reach upto Delhi..

    Now booking officer not responding my calls...

    There are not a good sign for APMC..

    Very worst n bunddle service by Agrawal.

    Agarwal Packers & Movers (DRS Group) are the lousiest people and now I regret my decision of selecting them to shift my stuff from Bangalore to Gurgaon on 16th last month. They delivered the goods with broken refrigerator (door came off), Computer table in pieces, dish antenna completely damaged, shoe rack & vegetable tray stand - broken. Even my bed was damaged. The worst part is when I contacted them, they are offering me a meagre Rs.2000 against my insured value of Rs.50000.
    Today  (24th Aug.) I called them 10 times since morning and they are simply not picking up. The lady who normally picks up the phone(Ms. Anju Agarwal) is a liar and last 3 weeks she is giving me all sort of excuses.
    After going through this harrowing experience all I can do is to warn others not to be trapped by these cheaters.  I don't have much faith in our judiciary system otherwise I would have gone legal to bring this thugs to books. NEVER EVER USE AGRAWAL PACKERS & MOVERS(DRS GROUP).

    AGARWAL PACKERS AND MOVERS ARE VERY IRRESPONSIBLE, VERY HIGH CHARGE WITH NO GUARANTEE
    Hi Guys,
    I shifted my Car from Kanpur to Mumbai. When I received the car the body of the car was broken. When I talked to concerned person they said it was already there though one of them accepted initially that this breakage was not there earlier. In fact I have recorded that guys talking to me over phone and accepting that the breakage is because of them only. I have photographs when the car was loaded ( in their carrier, without any breakage) and when I received.
    In fact I paid them more compared to other service providers were asking. Now they are saying you should claim it through insurance as they are not responsible for any of this breakage. I am really disappointed with their services.

    I am planning to go to consumer court as it is really disappointing and cheating to the customers.
    Guys please suggest me the best way to do this.

      Dheeraj,

      Even I have transported my bike from Noida to bangalore. Bike was in horrible state when delivered. Now they are saying to me to claim it through insurance only.

    Our company (PKL Ltd, Hyderabad) material has been despatched from Bangalore on 22.09.15 as on Today we have not received the material.

    I have transported my bike from Noida to Bangalore in Sep-15 from Agarwal Packers n Movers(LIMCA book of record holder). When I received my bike, It was in horrible condition. Side stand has been broken, gear box was misplaced(jammed), Visor broken and handle rubber grip was missing. Along with that Guys who delivered my bike did not delivered it until I pay them 200 rs for delivery.
    Dont go with Agarwal packers.

    I had shifted my household items locally in Meerut within a distance of 50 metres in same campus by Agarwaal movers and Packer on 26th September 2015. Now when I opened my items I am seeing lots of damages by Agarwal mover and Packers. My almirah is damaged, my fridge was damaged by one of the worker which I think was drunk. I was surprised a lot by Agarwal Packers and movers. Worst experience. And the workers has also asked for 700 rupees.

    After reading these comments I would also like to warn folks out there not to use Agarwal Packers at all. I shifted my house from Chennai to Coimbatore in August 2015. Upon arrival I noticed that a bag of 2 brand new shoes was missing. The price would have been about Rs.10,000/- and the pity is that they were my elderly father's new shoes. When we contacted the Agarwal Packers in Chennai, they sent us on a wild goose chase which lasted for more than a week with us trying to contact about four different people who refused to help us.  The worst thing is that they openly cheat clients..........when   they booked the consignment they spoke fluent Tamil, But when we complain they speak only Hindi, thereby pretending that they do not understand us. We have even tried emailing them with our complaint but there was no reply. Therefore our advice is please DO NOT use AGARWAL PACKERS !

    These packers and movers are very rude they do not pick up your phone after taking your money and goods they keep on making you fool.
    they have delivered my household things after 1 month from chennai to kolkata.

    they will send local gunda to deliver your house holds things to your home to take money from you.

    they are bull and false people they lie all the time.

    these people should be bitten and his company should be closed.

    please please please do not use them.

    Agarwal packers and movers(DRS group) was transporting my VW Polo car from kolkata to hyderabad as part of a shifting consignment. While i received my vehicle, it was in a horrible condition like dirts all over, major dent on the doors, broken number plates.
    Moreover, they have scratched the rear bumper of the car and to hide the scratch, they have applied some while paints over the scratch.
    While i complained to them, they are just ignoring it by saying they can only pay 2k to repair it whereas when i took the vehicle to workshop, it cost near about 25K(although it got insurance claim).
    Tomorrow i will get the vehicle from workshop and my insurance liability is around 7K, when i asked DRS to atleast pay the difference amount, they are simply ignoring it.

    I really don't recommend to go for Agarwal packers and movers(DRS group) as they are just cheating customer with fake commitments. Till now i haven't received any communication from them for my vehicle damage repay.

    Please don't hand over your beloved car to Agarwal packers and movers.

    PATHETIC SERVICE: Agarwal Packers & Movers (DRS group) - We have had similar experiences with (DRS Group) Agarwal Packers & Movers. We have engaged them twice - once in April 2013 and again in May 2015. Both times, we received damaged goods - glass items, utensils and furniture. There were also some items missing both times.

    Never using them again. Would also recommend everyone to NOT use them.

    I wish I had read this before.. My experience with the DRS group was horrible.. Very expensive, very slow service, damaged products, late delivery, very unprofessional, can not assemble items on destination.. and big liers.. I was told that the cost includes insurance but later I was told by Mr. Dipendra(a big liar and a dog from DRS group) that you do not need insurance as its a matter of 100kms only.

    My biggest mistake was to pay them full money in advance..
