Catnapper Furniture is Jackson Furniture out of TN.  They are marketed on several online sites.  I oredered mine from livingincomfort.com.  They are also complicit in this complaint.  They may even be in the scamming business together.  I ordered the sofa On Feb 10th of this year and promised a 3 week delivery.  It took almost 8.  I have had the item LESS THAN 2 MONTHS!  The 2 recliner ends are slumping and sagging toward the middle of the sofa, the padding on the footrests is non-exsistant and the bare plank board digs into your calves (esp the sharp corner).  The upholstry on the pull-down middle (cup-holders, etc) is coming apart and the staples are exposed and has pricked us several times, so that we can't use it anymore, but it is hard to put back up the whole way because of the slumping recliners!  LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OLD! I called both Living In Comfort and the manufacturer (Jackson Furniture).  I am supossed to have a blanket 3 year warranty on most of the sofa and a life time on other parts.  You guessed it - no one is going to honor it.  The manufacturer says it it Living In Comfort's problem and Living says it falls under the manufacturer warranty.  What a scam.  Living does not even have a phone number to call them and they don't answer emails.  Do not buy anything from Living and dan't buy a catnapper product from any source.  Be warned!!!

I wish I had found this site before I bought my Catnapper dual recliner sofa. I bought it in June 2010, it wasn't delivered for three months, and when it was delivered, the fabric had a small hole on top left side of the frame. The furniture co. I bought it from promised four time to come fix the hole or replace the section but they never did. The sofa is only 15 months old, it's just me and my husband who ever sit on it and I'm the only one who sits on this side. There are no children or pets here so the furniture should last. The fabric is crap and is dry rotting and going in to holes on the side where I sit. There are about 6 holes and  the fabric is just falling apart. I'm ready to ditch this thing and cannot recommend anything from the Catnapper line that's fabric.

I bought  a sofa and chair and half with ottoman, cushions have been restuffed after 3 months on back of both pieces, there is holes in seat cushion on sofa and one in back of sofa. When you set on sofa you can feel the supports in bottom of couch, which are also being replaced by Big Sandy Furniture and also the pillows that came with the group are falling apart. So far Big Sandy has replaced cushion on couch, but now I need another cushion on back of sofa replaced which is attached. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this furniture. Thanks only to Big Sandy who keeps replacing bad parts, I'm ready to buy something else to replace this junk.

I have to agree with everyone else.  I have one of the Power Lift Chairs.  (A piece of junk!) Lemon! Lemon!   It is three years old.  Has had motors, and power boxes replaced.   Two "Brains" as the circuit board is called.   One lasted 2-1/2 weeks and had to wait a month for another part.  Wow!  It lasted all of 1 round of the vibrator (20 minutes) working.   Now, I guess I will wait another month. (For what? Another disappointment.  Cannot blame the furniture distributor.  They have gone out of their way to help me.    Jackson Furniture would not even acknowlege a letter of complaint.

Thanks for posting this. I'm currently researching power lift chairs for my elderly mom and I had been looking at catnapper due to the price so I'm glad I found this.

If anyone can give me any guidance as to which manufacturers to look for it would be very much appreciated.

Lucky you. I just bought a Catnapper sofa and now am finding out I shouldn't have.  I guess I'll be returning to the store and cancelling this transaction.  Thanks everyone who posted. By the way, Lane furniture ducks too. Are there quality products out there or are we supposed to spend our hard earned money on throw away products.

Thanks to all of you.  My wife wanted to buy from catnapper and now after your postings won't buy them. I think you should re post and give your phone numbers and all of you start a class action law suit. Bitching about it will not stop these shoddy practices. They know that their product is worthless, but they will continue to make it until someone reigns them in. It is just another example of american greed and on going deceit.

Glad to have read all the comments. Husband and I were going to buy another catnapper recliner/rocker chair. We have not had any problems but we have not really used it very much. I must admit the one we bought was the most comfortable one we sat on at the time. But I think the class action suit is the best route to send a message to disreputable businesses.
