Catnapper Furniture is Jackson Furniture out of TN.  They are marketed on several online sites.  I oredered mine from livingincomfort.com.  They are also complicit in this complaint.  They may even be in the scamming business together.  I ordered the sofa On Feb 10th of this year and promised a 3 week delivery.  It took almost 8.  I have had the item LESS THAN 2 MONTHS!  The 2 recliner ends are slumping and sagging toward the middle of the sofa, the padding on the footrests is non-exsistant and the bare plank board digs into your calves (esp the sharp corner).  The upholstry on the pull-down middle (cup-holders, etc) is coming apart and the staples are exposed and has pricked us several times, so that we can't use it anymore, but it is hard to put back up the whole way because of the slumping recliners!  LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OLD! I called both Living In Comfort and the manufacturer (Jackson Furniture).  I am supossed to have a blanket 3 year warranty on most of the sofa and a life time on other parts.  You guessed it - no one is going to honor it.  The manufacturer says it it Living In Comfort's problem and Living says it falls under the manufacturer warranty.  What a scam.  Living does not even have a phone number to call them and they don't answer emails.  Do not buy anything from Living and dan't buy a catnapper product from any source.  Be warned!!!

    Very Disappointed!!!

I agree with all of the complaints listed. I bought a Catnapper Mocha Micro-fiber sectional with dual recliners with the wedge. It's really a sofa and dual recliner with a wedge in between (none of it is ajoined). In Smith's Furniture (a very reputable store) it looked gorgeous (by the way surprisingly, they went out of business approximately 3 weeks after I purchased it).  I got it home and noticed that after sitting on it and using it for 1 whole day, it looked like I had it for 1 year (sagging cusions). You have to fluff them every time you sit on it. After only 2-3 months, they had to come out and replace some of the collapsed sofa sleeper cusions; repair the fabric that was stapled to the cup holder; & replace the pull strings on the both recliners that had broken. I also agree, you can feel the the wood boards on the foot rests while the bulk of padding hangs under your heels. I will never, ever, ever, ever buy another Catnapper product. I paid 2500.00 for this piece of junk. To top it off, now mechanisms/frames on both recliners are bent and willl not close, unless you push them up and over and bang them into place. And we won't even go into the problems with the sofa sleeper!!! I have had this about 2yrs and trust me it looks like it is ready for the dumpster. By the way, this sectional has not gotten much use from anyone, but me. I live alone and do not have much company. I don't know, maybe I just got a really bad one, because from what I understand Catnapper is a good product. But, it kind of sounds like there is a concensus here! I am going to attempt to see if they will honor their limited warranty for the framework. STAY TUNED!!!

After readings all these complaints I'm concerned.  I just bought a GIANT Catnapper Grandover sectional with 2 power recliner sections and one manual.  I decided that I wanted something deeper that reclined.  I looked at their site and bought from a local reputable furniture store.  The items won't be delivered for 12 weeks.  Please keep me posted about Catnapper and if they honor their warranty.

Very Disappointed as Well!!!! replies to Very Disappointed!!!
We have the same one you do and ours did the same thing within a year.  We also had to replace all of the handles because they broke and a newer replacement one has already broken. My wife and I as well bought from a very reputable store and now after we broke another replacement handle just today(December 21, 2015) I am going to go tell the store I bought it from I would not recommend selling this brand any more because the quality is not in the furniture.  The furniture has always been very well taken care of and the quality of the product looks like we trash it.  Not to mention I feel like a body builder who can throw cars each time I barely pull on the pull handles and they bust apart.  Junk product, I do not recommend anyone ever buying a catnapper and I will never buy anything from this company again, due to the poor quality of their products.

I, too, have a Catnapper power lift chair delivered to me a mere 13 months ago.
It has failed because the mechanism has broken apart. It was purchased as a gift from my family and neither the online firm that represented Catnapper or the Jackson Furniture Company in Tenn. claims responsibility for repairs.
I am in a state that has no dealers and this is beyond repair by any owner since the entire mechanism must be removed to do so. Do not buy any product from this company or its representatives...you'll become an instant loser. It's a sad thing when a company that was founded in 1933 and claims a deep desire to please American families produces a product that falls apart after 13 months of standard use. It's even worse when they refuse to honor the warranty, I'm going to check on a court claim for damages (small claims or otherwise) and suggest all who have a problem do the same in your city or state! Makes one wonder why 'buy American' seems to be out of favor these days!!

We purchased a catnapper recliner, the worst purchase ever.  Bolts are falling out back of the chair broke and the heater started flashing.  We had to return the chair to the store and just found out it will be 10 to 14 days before the parts will be in.  I tried to find a phone number for the company but only found a web address, you have to log in and when I try it tells me my info is wrong, it says alot about a company that doesn't publish a phone number,  Just want to talk to a "PERSON" to tell them what a horrible product they have made.  If anyone has a number please let me know.  Thank you

Our reclining/rocking loveseat was only a few months old when the fabric began breaking down on the arms. We paid $800 for this piece of junk at a furniture store in Mayfield, KY. Checked the warranty and it only covers the mechanical parts, not the fabric. We will never buy another Catnapper or patronize that furniture store again. Very disappointed.

DON'T buy from Jackson Furniture.  The frame quality is an absolute joke.  Within less than 2 months of very GENTLE use, the frame on the couch I bought was broken and now you cannot sit on it without it creaking and the support board pushing into your back.  Had it "repaired" but that didn't last.  The loveseat I purchased with it is fine.  I don't know if the couch is just defective or what.  Reading this other reviews, it sounds like it is just poor quality.  The repair department seems to refuse to get back with any of their customers.  It took me months to get the first repair done.  Trying for a second repair since I can't afford new furniture with a baby on the way.  Bought it for our home while my husband was deployed in 2010 and overpaid.  Hate the fact that I "got had" on this furniture.  Hope to save others from wasting their money on junk.

In feb. 2012 we bought the CATNAPPER brand swivel rocker recliner and the recliner sofa from KAY FURNITURE in Smithville Mo. KAY was going out of business so we went there to get a " good deal". Within 2 weeks of our purchase the center section of the sofa ( it folds down with cup holders) the fabric started to pull out from the back of the cup holder and leave staples exposed. The next thing to go was the plastic pull handle for the recliner on the right side. The stuffing on the arm rests are already flattening out. BUT WAIT, THERES MORE !!!
The swivel rocker when reclined always spins to the left. We also noticed when reclined the whole chair leans to the left.
NOW FOR THE BEST PART !!!!
We have waited to claim any of this on warrenty until we thought there was enough problems that could be taken care of all at once. Our oh so nice salesman said if we had any problems all we had to do was call the factory and they would fix it. Well because we bought it at a " going out of business sale " they don't warrenty anything !!!! DON'T BUY CATNAPPER JUNK !!!!!! If you do, YOU ARE STUCK WITH HIGH PRICED CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also bought a BEAUTIFUL Catnapper sectional sofa.  Loveseat and sofa had the recliners.  Within TWO MONTHS, one of the plastic recliner pulls broke.  Then within another two months the other three broke.  I have written letters to Jackson Furniture and called, haven't gotten anywhere.  We bought ours at a going out of business sale, and it was LITERALLY the last day they were open and we did know that while making the purchase, but we've bought sofas/couches before and never had a problem like this.   Since it was a going out of business sale, the warranty was not honored.  I can't reach anyone locally.  We have fixed the pull cords ourselves once but it's such a pain. And the support on the loveseat is just gone.  We have to warn visitors not to sit in the "hole" in the couch.  I can't afford to just turn around a buy a new couch, it took us years to save up for this one!

    Same deal in Georgia
Bought a dual recliner sofa in 2/2011 and after 2 months the fabric started pulling apart with holes everywhere.  We still have it because the store we bought it from went out of business and we simply can't afford to get another one like the other poster on this complaint board.  Unbelievable....never, EVER buy Catnapper furniture.  Run...........run far, far away.........

Bad choice of fabric. It started balling up in the first few months. I thought maybe that was normal, but it got worse. I also have problems with the cording coming out of arms and pillows. I am about 120 lbs and live by myself, not much company so my furniture does not get heavy use. I decided that I needed to start setting more on the love seat since it is not used much. I discovered that there was a tear in the fabric and also a frayed place on the side of the bottom cushion. It looks like it was never sewn in right at the factory. So when I set on it a few times it just started coming loose. I did not expect to have to inspect all the seams when I got this. If you order one you had better inspect everything. Now that I have sat on the love seat a few times the cushion next to the main loveseat cushion is crooked. I cannot straighten it back up. This is on one side and the other side looks fine. It is like the frame is crocked. The cushions do not have enough stuffing to fluff back up like they say and when you put your feet on the reclining footrest you have got you foot against a board. Not right in my opinion. I have had this 2 years this month. but have left several msgs for Jackson Furniture to return my call about problems I was having and no call. I contacted CSNTVSTANDS (changed to Wayfair now and he Joseph agreed that this is unusual. He tried to call Catnapper and had to leave a msg and was to get back to me and it has been about a week with no call back. I called them again and after 3 calls to the factory they said nothing can be done.  What happened to warranties and customer service????  The cushions have a 3 year warranty, but they could give it any warranty they wanted to since you cannot talk to them. Stay away from this product and I would say all catnapper products, since their customer service is non existent.  Piece of junk!!

My parents, who are 81, have been looking to replace the recliners they have had for 6 years. I took them shopping today and came across Cat Napper recliners at a local furniture store. My parents loved them. However, now that I've read all the complaints, problems and warranty issues I will make sure my parents Do Not buy one of these. Thank god we are able to research online, otherwise my parents would be out over 1,000 dollars that they can't afford to use and buy a problem.

We bought the Catnapper Natchez group from Conn's. reclining sofa and loves eat plus two oversized recliners. Have had them one year on 12/29/12, bought extended warranty, on the corners of the arms, wood is starting to come through the leather. Had repairman out twice on reclining mechanism and still not right. Now wood is cracked on one recliner in the back going to have to call for another service man to come and look at it just to be told that the wood that is coming through the arm will not be covered along with the other leather problems will not be covered. Getting really disgusted with the lack of service and customer care that I am getting!
