I am a professional working in Malawi , on Friday the 24th of July I was in South Africa. I am a fun of KFC Chicken but I dont think so anymore after the Team Leader (Wilma) at KFC Somerset Mall in Capetown laughted right in our faces for having an accent that is not South African. When I asked about this she just laughed and said she couldn't help laughing at us because we sounded stupid!!! How on earth does one tell a customer that they sound stupid.This kind of service and attitude sucks for a Brand like KFC and they have just lost two loyal customers wont step my foot in a KFC restaurent again. Not that they care.

Eventually the car ahead of us then started moving and as we wanted to place our order the cashier told us that they have run out of chicken but in the same breath asked what it is that we wanted. We wanted to order a Family Feast 6 Piece together with 6 zinger wings. She then went to the back and said they can help us. Needless to say, we got a 10 piece feast with chips, we then had to order extra mash and gravy and coleslaw. The food was awful it tasted like metal and the coleslaw was hot and had a very bitter taste too, it tasted like we got very old food and the taste was disgusting.
No apologies for any delay, no one came to us and said they have run out of chicken they just leave you waiting. Had we known that all the customers who just left we would have done the same, but we were suckers for paying for poor quality KFC which we have thrown away at home because it was ghastly tasting. I have had bad experiences at KFC at various intervals but this has been the worst.
