I am a professional working in Malawi , on Friday the 24th of July I was in South Africa. I am a fun of KFC Chicken but I dont think so anymore after the Team Leader (Wilma) at KFC Somerset Mall in Capetown laughted right in our faces for having an accent that is not South African. When I asked about this she just laughed and said she couldn't help laughing at us because we sounded stupid!!! How on earth does one tell a customer that they sound stupid.This kind of service and attitude sucks for a Brand like KFC and they have just lost two loyal customers wont step my foot in a KFC restaurent again. Not that they care.

Hopefully this has now put her off KFC for good. As she mentioned, this would never happen at a McDonalds.
I ordered the 'Famous Bowl' through the driveway and getting home discovered that the container has change from a bowl as advistised to a rectangle container. This without being informed while ordering that the packaging has change and the amount of content is now less but still at the same price before>
On enquirying with the branch manager of Durbanville on duty 22062011 I was informed that this is the way that the 'bowl' will now be ser ved. Come on KFC inform your clients!!!!! False advertising guys!!!!! iT'S NO LONGER A BOWL!!!!
& Babalwa was on duty. Babalwa served me. The lady in the kitchen whose name I couldn't see,screamed that there was no chicken,its late. I asked her if there was no other chicken piece besides the wing. She mumbled something I didn't hear. I asked them for a refund ,the same lady said,I couldn't get my refund,unless if I was willing to wait till 10pm. When I asked why,they told me that the manager was not available. I told them ,there was no such. I worked at the Cape Grace as a waitress & as a supervisor,I couldn't believe such bad service. They told me ,their manager was busy. I demanded to see him,they said,he won't be able to see me,because he was busy with stock taking.. The lady in the kitchen told me AGAIN to wait until he is done at 10pm. I was furious & l told them to get him downstairs to refund my money or else I would haul him downstairs myself. I went up the stairs in an attempt to find him. That's when they were asking the other staff member to give me his lunch....What an insult.... I felt disrespected as a human being. When they saw that I was losing it,they called me back,telling me that they had to give me Daddy's lunch... Daddy justified the situation,telling me that ,they had to do me a favour by giving me his meal. I didn't expect any favours coz I can afford the meal. When I left,they were shouting & unhappy because of that incident.
To add insult to injury,I found a strand of hair on my food. I'm NOT gonna buy my food in KFC ever again... The customer service is so bad. I'm scared, they might spit in my food next time I buy from that outlet.
The other day,one of your staff members was fuming because I asked for extra vinegar,she said she is only allowed to give 1 vinegar per customer...
Is that how you treat your customers. Check the footage for this day around 20H45, June the 23.
From today onwards I will eat in Nandos,or somewhere else where I'm valued as a customer & human being. Unless you teach your staff customer service.. I will never eat KFC food again.

on 23.06.2011 i bought the kfc bowl at bertrams kfc, i was surprised that the food was so little...i was still hungry,compared when it was first advised the meal use to be filling...not anymore, i got the same feedback from my collegues that i spoke to because i thout it was just me or the store was just been stingy in giving me what i paid for...its not worth it anymore...do something about it or u gona lose customers...

KFC used to be good quality and value for money. not anymore.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT KFC ARE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT AND WHETHER I WILL GET A RESPONSE TO THIS COMPLAINT.

I waited for 20 min at the drive through and the missed the first half of the rugby. When we got home there was no sugar. Toasted egg and cheese sandwiches "I am allergic to eggs" very dry burgers, like it was made yesterday with a very greasy hush brown on it. All the food was cold and tasteless. All my friends that shared this breakfast with us and including us will never buy from KFC again. This was the branch @ Key West in Krugersdorp
