I am a professional working in Malawi , on Friday the 24th of July I was in South Africa. I am a fun of KFC Chicken but I dont think so anymore after the Team Leader (Wilma) at KFC Somerset Mall in Capetown laughted right in our faces for having an accent that is not South African. When I asked about this she just laughed and said she couldn't help laughing at us because we sounded stupid!!! How on earth does one tell a customer that they sound stupid.This kind of service and attitude sucks for a Brand like KFC and they have just lost two loyal customers wont step my foot in a KFC restaurent again. Not that they care.

    WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE DOUBLE CRUNCH BURGERS ? THE SERVICE AT WINKELSPRUIT, DURBAN HAS GONE DOWN TO THE DUMPS, REASON IS THAT THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT THEY GIVE TO CUSTOMERS WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING FOR WHAT THEY WANT AND NOT GETTING IT FOR FREE , I ASKED FOR A BARREL AND REFUSED THE DRIED OUT CHICKEN THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME AS THE COVER HAD ALSO BEEN OFF FOR HOWEVER LONG, WITH A MOAN AND GROAN THEY MADE ME AND SOME OTHER CUSTOMERS FRESH CHICKEN WHICH TOOK SOME TIME , ON ARRIVING AT HOME I WAS ACTUALLY DISGUSTED , THEY GAVE ME HALF DONE CHICKEN WITH BLOOD STILL COMING OUT , I HAD 2 DRUMSTICKS, 1 WING, 1 THIGH AND THE REST WAS THE SIDE BREAST WITH LITTLE MEAT AND JUST BONEY RIB SIDES , NOT THE MEATY BREAST PARTS AT ALL, VERY DISGUSTED AND WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE I GO BACK THERE AGAIN AS THE SERVICE AT ALL THE OUTLETS HAVE REALLY GONE DOWN , NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO , THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. IF CUSTOMERS ARE WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE OF THE DOUBLE CRUNCH BURGERS WHY TAKE IT OFF THE MARKET, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EVER ?

    KFC PRETORIA-NORTH  Even if it's the LAST franchise and I'm starving - I'd rather die.  This is the third time in a row that the service was really bad.  I got there at 21:15 last night and the drive through was blocked with a green dustbin.  Went inside and approximately 6 young guys were chatting up a couple of the cashiers.  Myself and another white lady stood there, unattended.  Three other cashiers joined the conversation and we were ignored.  Four or five of the other employees were having a heated conversation in the cooking area.  Nobody seemed to have any work to do.   I had to raise my voice to make myself heard and asked for assistance.  The cashier closest to us, moved to the other side of the till and told somebody else to help us.  Then we were informed that there were only a couple of boneless pieces left.  No other suggestions were made and we walked out.  How many customers are KFC losing because of such uninterested non-service

    I cannot believe that Commercial Road KFC- we asked for a manager and the teller refused. Tamara - refused plain out to call a manager.

    cAPE tOWN iNTERNATIONAL KFC   YOUR SERVICE IS APPALLING.
    i TOOK MY CLASS OF 24 YOUNG LEARNERS ON AN EXCURSION TO  the airport. At 11am we went to buy 24 Chikkie meals and were told they dont have boxes nor toys. The kids were disappointed as they looked forward to this meal. We waited ages for them to prepare burgers and chips. Meals on the menu that the parents ordered were also not availble. The staff offered the kids an ice cream but they wanted their kiddie meal.

    What will happen in June 2010 is a big concern when they cannot even have 24 mals at a time.

    I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AT THIS STANDARD OF SERVICE AND WOULD LIKE THE MANGERS TO CONTACT ME.

    I hate the fact that KFC has such a small variety of burgers!!!! What ever happened to Double Crunch, 1000 Islands, Tower Burger, the "3cheeses" or whatever it was called etc, AND WHY WAS IT TAKEN OFF THE MENU????? Now we're stuck with 2 choices: regular Colonel burger or a Zinger...... This is why I choose other takeaway places over KFC, we need burger options!!!

    I am fed up with KFC service from Pinetown and Hillcrest branches.
    Pinetown:
    Lady at the order kiosk for drive thru could not get my order correct for 2 people, she kept on telling me what I should order. At dispatch I did not receive what I intially ordered and it was a big joke to the staff. Ain't going back there.
    Hillcrest:
    Last night put the cherry on the top. Tried to order and 2 items were not available! this is now the third time this has happened to me! Put a temporary Out of ..... sign where teh customers can see it. I hate ordering something and them have to eat something else. I have had enough with KFC.
    Generally:
    The staff at the customer interface need to be trained on how to talk clearly and listen!
    Steers here I come!

    I bought at KFC Phalaborwa a large pops (sprinkle pops) and after an argument about why i don't get spices with I bought the spices.  Back at the office I wanted to open it and realised it was already open and rock solid hard.  I phoned KFC and explained to the manager what was the problem, he came to my office and brought 2 spices and an extra pops free of charge.  KFC Phalaborwa thank you for the services you have provided you do deliver!!!!

    The problem with this company is that they have no interest in customer sirvice. I challange any one from kentucky head office to prove me wrong. They only give franchise oppertunity's to people already owning a store(this is in cape town). That is why there will not be good service. As long as the store makes money, to hell with the customer. If you compare the quality of the chicken now with the food 10 years ago you will vommit. If the colour of the chicken is a very dark brown, what do you think the problem is(Kentucky in America is caremel)? Cape Town Kentucky's have no idea what so ever how to make Fresh chicken. It will be a very cold day in hell before I eat Kentucky again.

    yesterday i was @ kfc in keywest shopping centre in mogale city or krugersdorp. I ask the lady if they do have a six pieces with chips she just said to i must look @ the menu @ tell her what i want. for me thats crab service. her name was Clennent!

    We bought two x 2-piece KFC portions, plus chips, on our way through Musina yesterday.

    The battter was very greasy and did not have the usual attractive KFC taste. The chicken inside was slimy and didn't taste good. The chips were hard and didn't taste at all nice. To top it all, my wife and I both got infective diarrhoea from this food and have been really suffering today.

    There are obviously serious Quality Control issues here, and, for the sake of KFC's reputation, I suggest urgent follow up is made. We will not go back for a very long time.

    KFC in Sandton City Hygiene is appauling. They do not use gloves whilst preparing their food especially their twister meals. The gentleman just use his hands whilst placing all the ingredients. I find this really disgusting and something should be done about it.

    kfc in kempton park was terrible , got better but is now going backwards rapidly. why bother to have a drive through when almost every time you get told (after they took your money)to park and wait for your food because there is a waiting period for one or more of the items you ordered. one should be told in advance (before paying) so that you can decide to wait or leave. bought 2 famous bowls tonight and they were half full. is there no quality control or specifications for the different items on the menu to be adhered to by franchisees ?  on more than one occassion a piece of chicken was short supplied.  sprinkle pop cups are never full. do they employ staff who can not count or do they short supply to be able to take food for themselves ? i am disgusted and dissappointed to be ripped off like this.  kfc is very expensive as it is and then you get bad quality food short supplied. kfc can go to hell and take all their useless , arrogant , stupid , crooked staff with them. from now on i will spend my money where i get good quality , value for money and friendly service.

    Kentucky Wilrogate. After three poor experiences at this branch I swore never to return, quess what, I made the mistake of going back again.

    On i June incorrect amount was drawn from my credit card. Order was incomplete. Customer just has to wait while staff discuss the mistakes with the manager who has no conception of customer service.

    In future, I'll go elsewhere for quick food!

    I am very disappointed to see that KFC South Africa has finally succumbed and resorted to sex advertising to sell their product.  How low can you go to sell some chicken!!!!!!!!!
    You boast about associating your company with various charity's and supporting various sporting events............but now you want to tarnish your well earned reputation with an advert exploiting topless women.  This is damaging and shameful to both your national business enterprise and the nation as a whole.
    We don't need our children seeing this on nation televison.
    Get it off the media screens now!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you go to KFC in VREDENDAL, please be warned. You have to count every piece of chicken that you ordered and double-check your order, as you do not get what you've ordered. When I do go in to the shop, as I do not trust the drive-in service either, I INSIST on checking/counting every piece, as the chicken pieces seem to vanish on the way to the counter, or can't the staff count?!
    What is going on with KFC?

    I have a photo on my cellphone desktop which shows a KFC counter desk in peak hrs with no one behind the desk.

    Your staff needs training ......

    How can you serve a shop full of people with no one behind the counter.???

    I am very unhappy about KFC SHELLY BEACH on the South Coast. We were your everyday KFC fans and popped around for.. just about anything on their menu. Everytime we'd go through the drive though we had to stop on the side to wait for our order. I understand if it's a big order or if there is a que. But no cars in sight, ordering 2 ccokies and cream crushers, we were moved aside. This has happened every single time. I think this is ridiculous! What is a point of having a drive-through if you need to wait on the side ( for two crushers!!!!!!)? Tonight, no cars in sight, i refused to move aside to wait for our (this time new) oreos crushers... It was the most revolting thing I ever tasted. More like a ice mixture. Maybe a bad batch, maybe the workers being spiteful, I dont know??? I am so disappointed and unhappy!!!!!

    Sunday was the last time I bought Kentucky fried chicken - what allot of oily crap.  What happened to the recipe and why is the stuff so oily.
