I am a professional working in Malawi , on Friday the 24th of July I was in South Africa. I am a fun of KFC Chicken but I dont think so anymore after the Team Leader (Wilma) at KFC Somerset Mall in Capetown laughted right in our faces for having an accent that is not South African. When I asked about this she just laughed and said she couldn't help laughing at us because we sounded stupid!!! How on earth does one tell a customer that they sound stupid.This kind of service and attitude sucks for a Brand like KFC and they have just lost two loyal customers wont step my foot in a KFC restaurent again. Not that they care.

    I have been to the K F C at Southway mall and left empty handed the reasons
    being A cleanliness,Chips and serviets and bags littering the kitchen serving
    area B ice cream sloppy and like slush C service dead slow This is not the
    first time that I have walked out in disgust as i have on many occasions
    complained about the high noise level and poor service .Please attend to this
    urgently as customers will refuse to support this outlet

    I have been to the Kentucky on the corner of Cantonments and Cradock in Lyttleton several times, and everytime I walk away disappointed. At any given time there are only 2 staff members serving, whether it is quiet or the que is (literally) out the door. And they are just in nooooo rush whatsoever. Whoever is waiting should just wait. I was very disappointed with the homestyle meal, which turned out to be mostly mash and gravy with 4 bitesize pieces of chicken and a bit of cheese and corn. Today I ordered the new crunch (?) drink and the cup was only filled three quarters of the way. The chicken that I ordered with it was extremely oily and not good quality at all. At the prices charged, and the inferior quality of the food, I definitely will not set foot in any Kentucky every again.

    yesterday i bought  KFC in pretorious  pretoria it tasted as if old oil was used and this is not the first time  those to KFCs in  pretorious street needs to be checked out whey dont  we get the same quality food as  in manlyn  or midrand and we are paying the same price  this needs to be looked in too because no one wants to eat food that was cooked with old cooking oil

    A spoon used for the Krushers falls on the floor and is picked up and re-used. When brought to the managers attention, Bertha, it is teken and dipped into a bucket of "sanitised" water dried and re-used. This "water" is kept under the counter out of sight so one does not even know if it exists, how long it has been there, how many dirty things have been dipped in it or how dirty it is. My Krusher was re-made with this "clean" spoon. All the manager said was "sorry". Not one staff member was seen using the hand sanitiser, mounted on the wall, while I was there? Later that evening, 3am, I woke with stomache cramps and an upset stomache! All thanks to I think of tardy hygiene! Must one report this to the health inspector or what!

    On 2 occasions I have been through the drive through at your Blue Downs branch in the Cavalier Centre and on both occasions I have been asked to park in the parking area to wait for my food. If they do not have food ready why do the not tell you at the pay point so you can decide if you want to wait. The first time I complained to the manager but today I went through the drive through a second time to ask were my food was and it was waiting on the counter and the excuse was they were still going to bring it. Surly the last time Ibuy there!!!

    the service at kfc durban station sucks. the lady at the till was rude and she need a lesson on how to treat a customer, mind you there was no one in the store instead she ignored me and told me to go find change. never again am i buying from that store

    the ffc in louis trichardt on the corner of songozwi street and president street is surely the badest kfc in the world.
    on five consecutive weekends i wanted to buy kfc crushers and every weekend i must listern to a new excuse. what a shame.

    On Sunday 18 July 2010 my friend and I were driving through Lyttelton, just outside Pretoria.  Both hungry we agreed to both get a KFC rounder as we approached the Lyttleton KFC.  We sat in the car and ate.  Must say they tasted devine.  At 21:35 that night I changed my point of view.  I cannot remember being so sick in my entire life.  It continued the entire night (from both ends).  After my firt episode I went back to bed and my friend asked if I was OK.  I told her I felt awful.  She said she also felt nauseous.  15 minutes later she was hanging over the toilet.  We were both sick for 4 days.  I phoned KFC to mention what had happened and that maybe they should check it out.  I was told Elizabeth was the one in charge.  To this day no one has come back to me.  I will NEVER walk into a KFC again

    I visited Port Edward branch last night, around 20h40, wanted to order a Colonel Burger but was told that because they were closing at 21h00 they would not do new chicken fillets for the burger, not happy, but then ordered two Street Wise two, I should rather have ordered a car tyre I am sure it would not have been as tough.  As the customer, whether we come and order at 09h00 in the morning or 20h40 in the evening, are we not entitled to receive decent food, we are all paying the same price, we had to put the chicken in the dustbin, what a disgrace, I thought Kentucky Fried cared about their customers.

    Went to KFC in Blouberg Cape Town today.How bad!! I ordered a streetwise 2 with a coke as per their menu boards.Waited at the first window as nobody was there. I paid and went to the collection window.Got my food and waited then the girl at the window told me there is no coke they are waiting for delivery ja right. I insisted on a coke and she turned around and came back with a 500ml.She wasd not intrested in the customert.I asked her for customer care nr and she gave me a napkin.The food was also bad will never go there again.* and I was the only customer in drive thru no wonder

    I bought us dinner (or so I thought) from KFC Discovery on the West Rand. I found, what looks like, the stomach of the chicken attached to one of my pieces. I have actually taken a picture of this and want to pass it onto Kentucky for identification. I have returned food to the same branch before for other reasons. They all stop what they're doing when you complain and stare at you with blanc faces. Then they hand you a pop free of charge and wait for you to go. So, complaints goes no further than the door. That is why i'm not returning the food tonight. Will a Kentucky see our family again? No, never again.

    I found your menu after a long search. It was firstly outdated, secondly difficult to read, not all selections were listed. When you design the menu page, please use the same method as the UK one. It is very efficient and well set out.

    KFC North Beach Durban.
    I purchased a Streetwise two and asked for the leg and thigh, no breast, within seconds i was given the box, I asked Yvonne to check to see if the order was correct as I had been "done" before, she opened the box and said leg and thigh were inside. On getting to my Hotel found that there was a leg and a piece of boney breast whih had a lot of rancid fat attached.
    Sad that an employee has to lie to get the order out andas for the rancid fat NO EXCUSE
    What ic KFC coming to?

    After waiting at least 12 minutes for the wings that i had ordered, the wings were given to customers who placed there order at least 5 minutes after mine. When I raised the Issue the staff were falling over there feet trying to get the customers to give the wings back in order for them to give it to me, which they (the Custmers)refused and walked out. Their team leader (one of the staff who gave my wings to customers who placed their orders way after me) came and blamed the fact that they gave my wings to customers waiting behind me in que, on the strike... which I (the reasonable guy) rubbished and walked out of the store as I would and will not accept and excuse as lame as that for them giving my order to someone else.

    That kfc will never see me again...

    I honestly don't think this is an official website, otherwise someone from management would surely have made a comment here. Also I have heard that it is no longer called Kentucky Fried Chicken in SA anymore - they can only say KFC now and I believe it has to do with the fact that they are no longer following original recipes etc and so Kentucky America has cut ties....maybe thats why the food is not the same anymore and the service...oh well lets hope for the future that things improve.

    We visited the KFC in Shelly Beach. Waited 20 minutes at the drive through! I got out of the car, went to the window - Nobody there. I went inside the store, nobody even answered me when I asked what was going on! I will rather die than to go to ANY kfc again! Your service SUCK!

    KFC-white river, should not even open there doors for buisiness, never any Ice cream available, never enough chicken had to wait for chicken yesterday -45minutes. staff look like they work at a funeral parlor, I would rather drive the 24 km to Nelspruit to buy some KFC at the grove. This is really sad for such a big franchise.

    Ek koop al 30 jaar by Kfc my man is mal oor hulle en vandat Kolonade tak oopgemaak het in Pretoria koop ons elke saterdag en partykeer in die week ook daar my gesin hou van die singers en ek wil net se dat kfc die laaste jaar so versleg het mens kry nie waarvoor jy vra nie en hulle is altyd uit iets dan is dit singers dan is dit die singer sous en oo jy moet tog nie vra vir melkskommel of enige so iets nie hulle masjiene is altyd buite werking en jy kan nooit met jou kaart betaal nie jy moet altyd geld gaan trek en die ergste is jy moet nie voor hulle staan en wag nie jy mag net 'n seker tyd voor die venster staan anders kry hulle punte teen hulle so jy moet in parkeerare staan en wag wat help dit as hulle dien in elkegeval so sleg is kan iemand nie iets daaraan doen nie wat gaan aan en wat kan ons doen om beter diens te kry ek is "GATVOL"
