Omitting information, hidden charges

I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee  will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 877-807-2929."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

Here is a link to their Terms of Service. Please read carefully before making your decision.

I called to cancel so quickly that they said they would return the $200 they billed me but it would take 1-2 months past July 17. I will be overdrawn. How do we sue them? Who can get a lawyer to take this on? If their business is big enough to recover anything from, then somebody should be interested. We should move on this sooner rather than later. edudoc@suddenlink.net

Please Everyone. I have information for all of you. The company  is owned by Brian Dale of PEEL INC. 990 Grove st #204(actually the office is next door a 3500sqft internet office) 847-424-0954. I have called the attorney general and you all should do the same. Also I am making a formal complaint at the Evanston Ill. police department by phone 847-866-5000. Which so happens to be around the corner from this address. We will get are money back if everyone calls and complains. This company needs to be shut down  immediately. I saw their offer for 5 posters.  I realize the website says they mail posters "semi-monthly", but my bank account was immediately zapped for $39.80.  They continued to take out $39.80 anywhere from daily to twice a day.  I called and cancelled my account and was told there would be no further charges to my account.  WRONG!  It continued and their withdrawals caused me to not only be overdrawn, but also I was not able to pay my bills.  IThe only help I got was from my bank who managed to get all EIGHTEEN charges of $39.80 EACH reimbursed to me plus waived the overdrawn fees.  Unfortuantely my creditors don't don't care much. This website nees to be shut down NOW!

I will gladly join. I have had 4 different charges appear from the 1st and ONLY charge I authorized. I finally was able to get a hold of them for them to explain how they have it in their "fine print" that it will NOT be $8 but $39 instead. Complete trash. Not only  that, but after explaining to then that I wanted nothing else from them and wanted to be removed from anything they were related with, I received more charges on my credit card from them. Now when I call DURING BUSINESS HOURS, they do not answer and I hold for several minutes until it gives me a message to call back during business hours.
