I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee  will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 877-807-2929."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

Here is a link to their Terms of Service. Please read carefully before making your decision.

Posterpass charged me and sent me the posters even though I cancelled the order the morning after I placed it and was told specifically that I would not be charged and the order not would not be sent. I was told by customer service to write return to sender on the box and drop in the post office bulk mail bin. However, I know that the post office will not return this if you bring it to the counter because it was shipped to them via DHL, and why should the post office return something that was not shipped by them originally? Anyone else manage to return something to Posterpass. I feel the thing I was told was a ploy for them to claim that they did not receive the package back. I am certainly not going to pay to ship a package back which I was told would never be shippd to me.

I got scammed by the posterpass.com also. I tried to order 4 posters as it said it was 2 bucks for each, but charged me 32 dollars saying I signed up for the membership. you can't read the terms and condition from the main site neither. I called them at least 3 times but they have no intention of sending me refund nor the posters.

posterpass.com is fraud! They will steal your money!

count me in if class action suit is going to happen. im going to keep people's email here in case i can contact them as other people should. white_moral@yahoo.com

go to this site to file complaints "http://welcome.bbb.org/". this site initiates and be the middleman for your complaints. They would take it more serious if they were to receive complaints from them than you. Although I'm not sure if they will refund me but they said they would in at least three days. If they don't, I would look sites to sites like this for victims from posterpass.coom/peel inc, contact them and actaully take this class law action suit into place as it is our lawfully right, and put them down the business, hopefully receiving refunds at the same time.

cheers and don't let theives get away form their crime!

    Hi Mike
I didn't do my homework and have gotten ripped off as well. I am literally on the bank as we speak.  I notice that you had your dispute in 2007.  Can you give me any info on what I can do or who I can contact without it costing a lot of money as I am disabled and on a fixed income!
    Thank you so much
    Hope to hear from you!

    Stephen,

I was reading your message and you must have talked to someone that they actually let "cancel" there account?  If that is so, could you please tell me who I might write on this site about it?  I would greatly appreciate it.  I am disabled and my money as everyone else's comes very hard.  I am way too too trusting and naive but I have learned a very valuable lesson!!!

I hope to hear from you soon
    Sincerely
    Misty  aka Pam

    Hi Grindr654,

I too have been scammed and am livid.  I also was doing a Walmart gift card thing.  I am disabled and am on a very tight budget (not that many of us aren't) and even if we're not it's not fair or ethical period!!!!  I see that you were able to cancel?  Who do I write to or is there an e-mail I can send a letter to?  I would very much appreciate any help you can give me.  I am happy to hear at least you could cancel.  I have no good address, bad phone #, and no email address for them.  Now I know why!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Hope to hear from you
    Sincerely
    mistygreeneyes14@yahoo.com  aka Pam

I got my refund back, finally. They got no problem taking money from people, but fights too much to give them back. The trouble I had to go through to get my money back was beyond my expectation.

I still think these guys should be taken out the business, with class law action suit. First, with the misleading way to get customers, practically lying about the cost, example would be "posters for 2 dollars each!" then charge you around 70 bucks. Second, Not giving people the information they need such as "membership" or making it hard for people to notice the shipping and handling charge. That should be made clear before the payment. Third, making a verbal commitment such as "We will refund" and just don't, or making it hard to contact them. Just too much flaws, and I really don't know how they are getting away with it.

People! Give people a way to contact you, such as email, as we would need certain amount of people to initiate class law action suit. With this much of people complaining that they got scammed can't be just a coincidence, but rather the way they do their business. They would give back refund for those who try beyond, of course fight to their full of extent, but steal money for those who takes the hit, which is probably what they are aiming for. They are definitely a scam/fraud.

My son reveived the posters two times within one week, one dated on 11/7/2007 and another dated 11/11/2007. The PosterPass.com said my son's order is monthly. Is the second for which month? It is cheating.
