UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO CREDIT CARD

I bought tickets on Fandango.com and apparently they had an offer or rebate or something from this company, I remember specifically that i said no to any offers that came up as have been shopping online enough to know about these scams.
A month later I saw a charge for $11.99 from some company called TLG/GREAT FUN, I requested an investigation and found out it was this company. http://www.greatfunonline.com/
Upon calling they gave me some BS about signing up so this that etc... The woman I spoke to said that I would get the refund in 10 to 15 days hopefully they will refund it.
How can a popular website like Fandango have anything like this connected to their website are not worried about losing customer trust.

I too have been taken by this company. Not one time, but two times. I just found a charge of $36.99 from TLG Great Fun and TLG Every Day. I got into this just by ordering a pair of shoes from Footsmart.com. At the end of my order I got a flash up on how to get a 20% back coupon for my purchase. When I said yes to the discount, it immediately stated that I had signed up for 'great fun'. I immediately sent them an email that I did not want it. That did not work. I just got off of the phone with them and cancelled them both. I did get confirmation #'s. We will see if it works. Both of these are purported to be discounts to various resturaunts, entertainment, etc. I live in a very remote area and would not be able to use them anyway. I will be contacting FootSmart and the Better Business Bureau.

Oh yeah, the same thing has been happening to me every single month!! I called these crooks, and requested that they stop charging 12.99 to my credit card every month, and after trying to talk me out of"dropping"them, they eventually agreed to stop this, but anyway they've continued trying to bilk me out of 12.99 each month!! Fortunately, the card number they have,is my GreenDot pre-paid card, which I try to keep LESS than 12.99 on,so their"theft"will keep getting declined!! WHO are these cretins anyway?!? I'm going to call them again, and make sure, that they crawl back under whatever rock that they crawled out from!!

About a year ago, I found great fun had been tapping my account for 12.99 a month. I called about the unauthorized charges; they refunded the money. This year I found them taking 12.99 from two more accounts. I would like to know their address and the name of the persons involved. I would pay them a visit; they have purchased an ass whipping of unbelievable proportions.

I was looking online at my banking statement to see these TLC/Great Fun charges for $11.99 thinking that someone stold my card and used it.  I called the company and they said they were charging me since May 2009 when I ordered tickets from priceline.  The woman immediately cancelled my membership and refunded me $179 for all the charges!

I cannot believe it.  I just looked found a transaction for $11.99 from Great Fun on my wife's account and after looking back we noticed, rather embarrassingly, that she has been getting these "membership charges" since December 2008!  Such a fraud.  The company wont help you.   She tried to have them removed from her American Express account and they would only take off five.  It wasn't until I asked them to cancel our cards that they went back to take off and research these fraudulent charges.  After closer inspection I noticed they had been charging us before December another name before that: Cool Extras.   Beware.  We will look through our all of our statements like hawks from now on!

The same exact thing happened to me with Snuggie.  I don't understand that when a refund is due to me, why it is my reponsibility when I cash that refund that I am not being signed up for anything else.  Why is it my responsibility to make sure I am NOT defaulted into signing up for something instead of the company making me actively sign up for something if I want it.  This happened a year ago to me and I just found the charges.  I am not trying to get them reversed.  I think the news needs to be notified of this... what the company is doing is victimizing all of us.  I should not be defaulted into joining a membership- the membership should take my active participation in signing up if I choose to do so.

I never authorized any thing and yet 12.99 keeps coming out of my account!!! Now I will have great fun trying to get this straightened out with my bank. Have to get a new card!!!!! What a joke I call the number listed on my statement and after the membership message they say that the number has been disconnected!!!!!!!!! I will turn over any rock to get these people out of business!!! You send one "free card" and you pay forever even if there is no absolutely no authorization. The jerks need to "pay"!!!!!!

I have been a victim too.  My bank is going to dispute these charges; I've been charged since June 2010 at least.  I thought it was something my son was using for his xbox.  When I checked with my husband I realized something was wrong.  What creeps.  I hate them.
