UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO CREDIT CARD

I bought tickets on Fandango.com and apparently they had an offer or rebate or something from this company, I remember specifically that i said no to any offers that came up as have been shopping online enough to know about these scams.
A month later I saw a charge for $11.99 from some company called TLG/GREAT FUN, I requested an investigation and found out it was this company. http://www.greatfunonline.com/ 
Upon calling they gave me some BS about signing up so this that etc... The woman I spoke to said that I would get the refund in 10 to 15 days hopefully they will refund it.
How can a popular website like Fandango have anything like this connected to their website are not worried about losing customer trust.

    yes the same dam thing is happen to me I NOTIC for at least three mo. but they are scame me 19.95 so iam going to the bank .

    No getting around that. I have "cancelled" four times now and they still charge my card. I got a new card and they found the number.

    GREAT FUN IS NOT GREAT FUN.

      Andrew, have you obtained a cancellation number from them ? Today, in viewing my account I investigated ~ Called and was tended to very nicely.  Hope that's not a cover-up too.. Off to bank to cancel the C.C. ~ I've documented everything. Name, Rank, Serial Number, Cancellation number etc..
      Your information will be of assistance to all whom file here as well as learn and search... The more that is given the better we may be as a whole.

      *I got a new card and they found the number*  That's the banks fault providing they were given the correct info on stopping the charges.

    I too just noticed a charge for $16.99 from TLGGREATFN with a CT phone number. I tried calling, but their office was not open yet. I called my credit card company, but got no help except being told to call the number on my credit card statement.  I have gone back in my statements and this charge has been on my account since at least last April.  One lesson I learned is to have eagle eyes for each statement I receive!  Needless to say, I am angry at myself for not noticing this sooner, and even angrier at the company for charging me for something that I would have never agreed to.  Now I have to spend lots of time trying to get to the bottom of this.

    My father in law was scammed.  Great fun claims that he authorized the use of his credit card over the phone.  I don't know how long he has been charged, but he is elderly and suffers from dementia.  They told me over the phone that they would cancel his account and he would not be charged, and he was charged again the next month.  Need to make all senior citizens aware of these scammers.

    Be very careful. I thought I was smarter than this.
    In November I ordered Tag-Away online. Someone called a few days later who I thought was from Tag-Away and talked me into doing a trial membership for a company called "Shoppers Advantage." In December
    I called and cancelled my membership with Shoppers Advantage and they gave me a cancel number.
    This month ( Feb. 2013 ) I get a bill with $29.95 charge from Budget Savers and $19.99 charge from Great Fun. They tell me they are not affiliated with Shoppers Advantage but somehow they got my credit card number from them. I'm refusing all charges from them with my credit card which is taking some time.
    By the way. The Tag-Away ( my initial order ) did not work after months of trying.

    They have been charging me for a new subscription each month since December.  That's 5 different magazines that I didn't order.

    I too was taking by TLG*SHOPPER and TLG*GREATFN.  Each were taking $19.99 each month from my bank account.  I thought my husband was buying stuff, but then I finally noticed it was my bank card not his being used.  I immediately asked my bank not to authorize any more payments to these two companies.  If you have problems with these two companies their phone numbers are TLG*SHOPPER'S - 1-800-526-484 and TLG*GREATFN'S - 1-877-488-9480.  

    I called the SHOPPER'S number first.  I told them right off the bat I wanted this account closed immediately.  I did not authorize them for any product they were offering or selling.  The man I spoke to had the gaul three times to get me to keep the account.  I finally told him if he couldn't cancel my account to pass me to his supervisor.  After that threat he was able to cancel me.  Said according to contract I couldn't get a refund.  I did get an address to file a complaint for refund.  Support Services, PO Box 6100, Westerville, OH 43086.  This addres is also for TLG*GREATFN.

    I then called TLG*GREATFN (Great Fun) and told them to cancel my account.  The lady gave me two payments credited with my bank account and should show up 3 - 7 days.  She too told me my contract says no refunds but told me to fax them a letter with my cancellation info, member acct., name and address and transaction dates from my bank account. Letters to both of them will be done tonight.

    I too will be filing a complaint with the AG office.  Pretending I agree to their charges is wrong and it needs to stop.  I have no idea as to what I so called "agreed to" and even they couldn't tell me.  So wrong.  

    Tell your friends and family to look closely at their bank account for these two companies.

    i never gave my moms card # she has been charged 2 months in a row and she is on a fixed income and this has cost her 15.99 plus 35 for overdrafts.please remove her card and my name hers is barbara bowman and mine is bonita english.if not removed you will hear from my lawyer

    To fix this, you need to unsubscribe from both shopper's advantage and the great fun company- they won't tell you but if you only unsubscribe from one you will still be charged: make sure you have cancellation codes that start with z (great fun) and s (shopper's advantage).
    Be insistent about getting refunded and they should do it!

    For the past 5 years I have been paying $12.99 because my daughter wanted to get a discount for renting a car. Something came up and she could not rent it. I went up to use my card and the discount was not used because she did not rent it. This is how they got my card number. I do not owe much on my card and usually pay it off so I never noticed this on my bill until the other day. I have paid them $1182.09 and they offer me $151 back.  They are suppose to send me a notification where my daughter signed up for this.  This was Aug 1st and now it is Aug 17 and I have not received anything.

    TLG  were taking , stealing money from my account. Two overdraft because of them and 7months of $9.99.I spoke to Kaye and said put my money back on my account,but Kaye said they could  only credit me for two months. I never gave them permission to charge my account .The company is fraud and need to be dealt with for taking other people money. I hope the Federal Goverment help us get all our money returned to us.

    for the last four months there has been an unauthorized charge of $19.99 on my credit card from this company and i have no idea what it is for or how it got there.  i want it to stop and i want to see a credit on my credit card

    I have informed them that if they attempt to aquire funds from my account again their site would have Major problems with virus's malare and bots so bad .  .

    i caught them right away since i check my sh*t everyday. im frustrated because its hard enough making a living for yourself, and then weirdo companies steal and scam me. im a 25 year old from california, i dont have support from my family, i do everything on my own, and for these people to scam me like that is foul. im def. going to cancel my card with chase, how can they let this happen as well. piece of [***] company..
