These guys are total scammers, they claim to host your site and in order to do that you give them your credit card number. I did this and it was supposed to be less than $4.95/mo. Well once they have your information - LOOK OUT - they will rack up charges on it. Tried their customer service and can't get anywhere. STAY AWAY from them www.brainhost.com. I am filing a complaint with the state and trying to get the charges reversed on my card - WHICH THEY MAXED OUT.

I agree with Complaint about www.Brainhost.com..... I have a similar problem with www.Brainhost.com. I signed up with them for a year and the first month was good, now i can't reach them by telephone (I call them at 1-877-586-4694 and all i here is a busy signal anytime of the day)and i send them a support ticket and ask them if they have a different telephone number where i can reach them and never got a response from them till this day,(I been with them about 2 months so for). Remember, I been using the same cell phone number since i started with them in the same area... if anyone from www.Brainhost.com reads this message then, leave me a comment here with a valid telephone number (A different telephone number than the one page)and solve my problem and I'll post a comment here of the correction made and what cause my lost of time of service i have with www.Brainhost.com.... Remember, untill i get a response from www.Brainhost.com, i can't use the service.... its been a month so far that i can't reach no one...

        I agree with you.

I am in the cross road of wanting to make extra money I consider Using brain Host but now I am not sure I want to do it at all. If there is one thing in life I have learn it is research. Just like if you want to post links and make a quick dollar you must first learn to craw before you walk. Learn the trade don't expect hand outs you must reach and grab hold of the knowledge after all knowledge is power. Take this sight for example: (Someone started this Complaint Wire and that person is probably sitting on the Hawaii beach next to the equator  sipping on a martini on the rocks in the middle of the winter.) You need a good topic to catch people interest but most of all do your research. Take this ad for example I could make money with this INFO!  but it is yours for free.

I think I will continue learning every thing about Posting links before I jump in with both feet. Then I will learn about website builder.  Good Luck with your Host. Advice (You can HOST your self). Hope this helps.

      Hi Jenny,

I am tired using Brainhost. My website was hacked 3 times in a row in 3 months. I reported it right away and it's been 4 days and the issue is still not resolve. This show's me that Brainhost.com doesn't have the capability to increase their business because they can't handle customer service not alone technical support.

Customer service 24/7 phone, chat and email????? Please remove it, it's misleading. There's no phone support on Sundays and after 9pm est.

As affiliate.. no way! I'd rather make $50 than $175 dollars per sale as long as the company provides great customer service 24/7!!!!! SO.. I'm back to hostgator.com ..goodbye Brainhost.

I just looked at one of your sign up pages. Is no one honest anymore? It states that it is free. Free means nothing on the internet. I have no credit card. What now? If I wanted to sign up I am too poor to do so. How do these companies get off so easy? If there is a legitimate, honest company on the web, I have not found it yet! If you give out personal information, they will almost always use it to steal your money and ruin your credit. Never trust anything online.

I am having a problem in regards to the transparency of brain host.com. Somehow, I found them to be misleading, someone seemingly is not telling the truth. It has been approximately four days since I sighned up to have my own website, and to date I cannot log in. Everytime I log in the prompt is failed attempt.
There is a problem with the information placed on line. The information is instant activation, which is not true. It is stated that the website takes 24/48 hours to be activated, but this information is only given after you give your card number and the money is deducted.

I am really nervous because I had vowed not to subscribed to any online job opportunity due to past experience. I would hate to know that I am being scammed.

Well you are being scammed, I had this for all of four days, they charged my credit card alot more than what they had printed on the Receipt, Then I was okay with it, but then I couldnt log in they did contact me and the message said "I dont know what your problem is, but i can login just fine" REALLY!!! So I caled my credit card company told them DONT PAY THEM, they opened and investigation and found that thecharges were fraudulent, so that tells me the company is fraudulent  I will see brainhost UNPLUGGED
I work as a fraud investigator and I dont see anything about them that is, on the up & up.. Sorry Brainhost either get your people under control, or CLEANHOUSE
