I purchase A 2004 jaguar x-type with 65K back in September 3,2009 with a 60 day warranty.Oct 15,2009 I purchased a warranty with, Direct buy warranty. My transmission failed due to mechanical issues,I submitted receipts showing the first month I spent 3,000 just to get it the way I wanted. After the transmission was fixed, they refuse to pay, cause they ran a carfax on my vechicle and claim it was involved in two accident before I purchase the car.So they reimburst my money cause if anything else happens they will not cover it.I had ask them when I first Purchase the warranty Do I need to get te car check in one of their listed repair shops, they said it was not necessary. So I ended up paying for the repairs.

Your problem was not with DBW. You filed several claims, and were paid for these. You then called in a crying story how you needed the money because times were tough. After having been in the plan for only 3 months, and claims totaling more than $800.00, you expected a full refund. Actually, you got mad because the claims paid for you were deducted from the refund. This is common practice with every warranty company.
So stick to the issues, please.
Mr. bowbowx@*****.com aka BowBowx3000, You report that you have become a victim and that we scam people. I must say Mr. bowbowx@*****.com it is the opposite. You are the one who scammed and victimized Direct Buy Warranty. You purchased your vehicle service contract on 7/13/2010 and it started 8/12/2010. Only 4 days after your vehicle service contract started you filed a claim. Now i am not stating that there is a problem with filing a claim 4 days after your vehicle service contract has started but it does become a problem when only 4 days later you need a new transmission. As you may or may not understand this does raise a red flag and does get looked into for possible pre-existing conditions. Direct Buy Warranty is not here to fix problems you currently have nor is any extended contract company you or anyone else is look to have protect your vehicle. Our ASE Certified Mechanic team looked over your claim and maintenance records and determined that in just 4 days of your vehicle service contract being in effect there is no way that you would need a new transmission. It just does not happen in only 4 days. There were previous problems happening on the transmission prior to your vehicle service contract starting with Direct Buy Warranty. THIS DOES NOT MAKE US A SCAM NOR HAVE YOU BECOME A "VICTIM". In heinz site we have not cheated anybody nor have we cheated you. You have tried to cheat Direct Buy Warranty out of a new transmission which is illegal as you should know.
I would also like to advise that this mechanic only posts a portion of entire problems with this consumers vehicle. He failed to mention the alternator that we replaced for the customer at the same time the pump was called in. This mutual customer had a hose problem with his power steering pump. DBW does not cover hoses as no extended vehicle service contract does. Next time you want to make a complaint about our company and good name make sure that you post all and truthful information as you have not. Further more IF we have done so wrong by the customer why has he been a customer of DBW since July 2009 and still is today.
