I receive a call from “account services”/”card member services”/”card holder services” EVERY DAY around noon. They refuse to remove my number, despite many requests.  They often are very rude & give bogus information when I try to get more company info. The only thing I know to do is file a complaint with the FTC & I suggest all you do the same, hopefully with enough complaints they will shut this horrible company down.  It is a quick & easy form.  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx please note that your phone number must be on the Do Not Call registry before your complaint is applicable – so if you have not registered your phone number on the National Do Not Call list, please do so : https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx?panel=3

I know there is nothing anyone can do to stop these calls from coming in so I have decided to fight back by keeping them on the line for as long as I can wasting their time. This is great if you don't mind tying up your phone for a wile and can stay productive while doing it. I put them on speaker phone while folding laundry or doing the dishes. I play along with them for a while. I even put them on hold for a few minutes at a time. Oh yea, they will wait especially if you tell them you are going to get your card. When I feel they might be getting ready to move on I give them a few numbers starting with a 5 or 4. Then they start to buy it. I will tell them I want to know something about their company so I know it is not a scam. I ask them where the company is and where they are. I ask them what the weather is like there. I kept one guy on the phone for about 20 minutes before I asked him if I had wasted enough of his time. Next I told them what I really thought about their scam and hung up.

Since they can spoof the incoming call number you can't call them back. You have no way of tracking them down or reporting them. So have some fun at their expense!

    When shut these [***] down?

It is niece to think that the government actually cares about this and would actually help you by doing something about it.  The truth of the matter is, as long as they don't cheat the government out of money, they government calls it a "Civil Matter", which in government talk that translates to "We don't give a [***]."  Expedia once hacked into google and added a logo with a local telephone number, that directed all of the people searching the hotel's website to them, rather than the hotel.  I have a hotel and reported them to the State Attorney, and the Attorney General in Florida.  The response from the Attorney General as "It's a Civil Matter".  In the words of JFK "Ask not what your country will do for you.", because they will do nothing, unless you don't pay your taxes.

I suggest getting an air horn, they sell them at the Dollar Store, and blasting it into your phone when these

I have been receiving calls from card member services and have tried everything I can think of including blowing an air horn into the phone,  to get them to stop. Nothing stops them. I have even threatened to charge them with harrassment.  I received 3 calls today in less than 2 hours. These calls not only come from out of my area but now the caller ID shows a local number. A friend even received a call on her home phone with the caller ID showing her phone number.

I am getting them sometimes 3 per day. I tried everything everyone else tried. Can't stop them when the number they call from is not in service. They want your credit card information. There should be an agency to report this to. FTC isn't doing anything. They been doing this scam for many years.

Maxine, I've experienced exactly what you and the others are saying and after 2 calls that I ignored because they were out of state, I just got one with a local number from McCabe R and since I know a woman with the last name McCabe, I answered thinking it was a family member ... no same spiel .. "We've been monitoring your..."

Received a call from 337-725-8021 and the caller ID name display showed "Louisiana Call" as if it was an incoming cell phone call but the Number Network exchange of 725 is a group of land lines in the Ragley area.  When I called the number back, I found out it isn't a working number.  We are sick of this entity calling as they use a different unassigned number every time that they call to make it impossible to block their calls.  We received calls from 337-725-4211, 2770, 7215, 1278, 4272, 0504, 2013, 8967, 6436, 7609, 8376, 5017, 5584, 9246, 6022, 0110, 2795, 1314, 1221, 7640, 1478, 4391, 1951, 1886, 9401, 6544, 3208, 9889, 9012, 4952, 1777, 9808, and this number.  I told U. S. Auto Care to take us off of there list as most of the previous calls were from them.  Today another scammer (if not the same one) is using this method to run the "lower your credit card interest" scam.  They say that the name of the company is Card Member Services, but I can find no actual company by that name.

We have been fighting these folks for a long time.  They call about 3-4 times a week each phone number.  Clearly the FCC has no interest in doing anything in a timely fashion.  Complaints get no response.  It seems the solution is to go after Mastercard and Visa and have them sue Card Member Services into submission.  Getting their phone numbers and addresses is not rocket science.   The most recent callers sound like they may now be overseas.  Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.  Time to start hounding the credit card companies also.  I believe they have some degree of responsibility for allowing this to go on for so long.

I am joining the long line of people complaining about these spammers, too! they call all the time, "cardmember services".  I took the time to hit "1" to talk to somebody.   I asked who i was talking to, the name of the company "Cardmember services".  the "gentleman" told me about my credit history and thus I asked him for my name - since they know my credit information and how well I pay my credit cards, they should know my name, right?  I told him i wanted to make sure they reached the person they wanted to reach.  He made up a name, Monica. I asked if it was it Monica with a "C" or a "K" - he said with a "G" (???). it was almost funny, except for the fact that they won't stop calling.  they keep on changing the number that is being displayed, which makes it hard to block.

Ok i've just got 6 call within a 1/2 from card member services. They will not remove me from the list. The gov. Do not call list isn't helping.  Funny thing is i don't have credit cards.  If this don't stop i will record all messages & go to an attorney with them.

Seriously, they've been calling for 20 years now. Why hasn't anyone put out a reword for their capture, dead or alive?

I just received a call from a NYC number 917-267-6621. Blocked number but continues to call from different numbers. Said his name was Mark. By his accent I'm thinking he's not a Mark.
