I receive a call from “account services”/”card member services”/”card holder services” EVERY DAY around noon. They refuse to remove my number, despite many requests.  They often are very rude & give bogus information when I try to get more company info. The only thing I know to do is file a complaint with the FTC & I suggest all you do the same, hopefully with enough complaints they will shut this horrible company down.  It is a quick & easy form.  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx please note that your phone number must be on the Do Not Call registry before your complaint is applicable – so if you have not registered your phone number on the National Do Not Call list, please do so : https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx?panel=3

I got a call this morning, caller ID 414-762-2855, Oak Creek,
Wi. Recording said press 1 for "info about reducing credit card interest
rate." I pressed 1. A man said they deal with different banks and
cards, Visa, MC, Discover, AmEx, etc. Said the service is provided by
the cc company to reduce the rate of "preferred customers who pay on
    time."

I stayed on the call for several minutes. They said they could lower my
interest rate to 4.9% permanently. Said they had access to my
account but needed me to verify my cc number. I gave false number. They asked
for expiration date and security code from the back, and my zip code.
Again I gave false info (I was a little bored, and in the mood to report
someone to the Atty Gen and FCC). He put me on with his supervisor
(thinking he was about to "close the deal"). Supervisor said I would
receive documents within 7 to 10 days. Said the service had a one-time
fee of $690 to lower my cc rate to 4.9% permanently. I said I was
interested and would wait for the documents, and asked for his phone
number so I could call him back and "verify that you're legitimate." He
gave 941-312-2236. I called. They answered but didn't speak. I hung up. A
different man called: "You called Card Services, but got cut off. Can I
help you?" I said "Sorry, wrong number" and hung up.

It's a Sarasota, Florida landline number. The men i spoke with had
Pakistani or Indian accents, with some Canadian-sounding accents as
    well.

My caller ID for their number shows "fasscom.solutions". I searched the
web and found job listings on "tribune.com.pk", link:
    http://jobs.tribune.com.pk/job.... Company detail
    listed here:
    http://jobs.tribune.com.pk/com.... They're
based in Karachi, Pakistan, google maps shows location on Imam Bargah to
    Nazimabad Rd St.:
    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=...

I filed online with the FTC already, and I have the form ready to send to the NY Atty Gen's office on Monday.

I did the same thing. I gave phony numbers until they came back and said the card I gave them was discontinued. They have a way to check your card right away. Then I got a manager on the line and asked him if he could take me off the list cause I get called every day. He said he would but the calls continue. I reported them to the FCC website, the FBI, the DNC reg. at least 200 times, I have a list of at least 30 of their numbers. They have a system that links their telemarketers to your phone. The numbers on your caller ID are real numbers that they own but have either disconnected or do not allow calls to come in. They are under investigation but because its hard to trace what they do, it takes time. KEEP reporting them to the DNC and FCC and FBI. They will get busted one day

"Time is running out to lower your interest rate this is your second and final notice to speak with an operator press 1."  Looks like scammers are looking to do their Christmas shopping, eh.

Credit Card Member Services is the name the guy gave after I punched the 3.. It said to press 1 to get off the call list. So when the guy answered I blew my whistle as loud as I could.

Caller id said unavailable for name but gave me a number of 206-496-0414. When I googled the name they gave this turned up under the search though there does appear to be a web site for them. Still, I don't have any credit cards nowday's, they where paid off years back.  I'm on the list and I do leave complaints.  FTC & FCC..  every complaint helps to convict!

Just play along. Tell them you need to go get your card and make them wait. They will give up and waist however much time they want.

I got a call from this #, & they left no message on machine; so I dialed the number. First I heard a long, loud burp; then an automated message told me this party is not receiving calls at this time.  How disgusting & rude.  Surely, this is not a legitimate company & should be stopped.

They also state it has to do with the financial stimulus.  I get calls every day with all the above details from number 877-298-8855.  When you press the key to speak with a rep and ask to be removed from the list, they just hang up on you.

Keep reporting these creeps.  Maybe the govt will get off its butt and do something.  Silly me for thinking so.

Received the same type of phone call today from 619-279-1287.
Have been receiving these calls, on and off, for months. If you manage to get someone to listen to you and not just hang up, they claim that they'll put you on their do not call list.
Please make sure to send a complaint to the FTC here:

Same company- Card Member Services- calls almost every day-the number that shows up on my phone is 888 382 1222.  the last one was a fellow named "John" who had a bit of a speech impediment.  When I asked about his company- and said I did not want any more calls- that I had asked this before of other callers from his company- and I asked for his company's main number he gave me a number and then asked me if I would give him a bl** job.  I told him I was going to report him and hung up - The number he gave me a the company's main number , 800 739 8255 which turned out to be a sex site.
I would like to have the main number of his company- so I can complain directly to them.  Most likely they don't want their personnel making such statements-.  If anyone has the main number- please post it and I will report this.

I am registered on no-call list, have received several identical calls before. Some provide an opt-out choice at the end of the message, but it doesn't make a difference, they keep calling. They woke me up after midnight, call again several hours later.

Unlisted & Non-Published Number 619-279-1287. Wireless account. Location: San Diego, CA, Provider: Nextel Communications, Tower Switch: SNDGCA02X3Y

I kept them on the phone for almost 5 minutes.  I told the original operator I had $63,000 in credit card debt with 6 or 7 cards, gave her some phony info, strung her along until she asked for a credit card number.  I asked if she was going to charge anything to it and she said "let me get my supervisor".  He came on and I BS'd him for a couple of minutes as well.  They HATE that.  But I figure if they waste my time I can waste theirs.

Politely asked him how I could could get off the call list. He said it's easy- he just bends over and I stick my tongue up his ass. I wouldn't feel bad if I could shoot him. How do I report him?

619-279-1287 recieved a recorded message saying it was card member services call for me. When I politely tried to figure out who, what, where, the guy got very rude and instantly got very vulgar. Told him I would be reporting him and he just laughed. I also signed up on do not call list prior to this. I dont know if that EVEN makes a dfference.
    Dont deal with these jerks!

After receiving a call a day for months, I decided to talk to the caller. She said the "do not call list" does not apply to this company since when we got our credit cards we signed an agreement that we wanted to renegotiate our credit card interest once a year. I told her I was not interested and I just want the calls to stop. She asked me why didn't I want lower rates and I told her that I was not going to negotiate with a third party or give them any information. I again asked her how to make the calls stop and she said they will continue to call until I agree to negotiate with them and then pulled their usual stunt, she hung up on me.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION AND ESPECIALLY YOUR CARD NUMBERS!
They act like they know all about you but all they know is your name, don't tell them anything else!
