I receive a call from “account services”/”card member services”/”card holder services” EVERY DAY around noon. They refuse to remove my number, despite many requests.  They often are very rude & give bogus information when I try to get more company info. The only thing I know to do is file a complaint with the FTC & I suggest all you do the same, hopefully with enough complaints they will shut this horrible company down.  It is a quick & easy form.  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx please note that your phone number must be on the Do Not Call registry before your complaint is applicable – so if you have not registered your phone number on the National Do Not Call list, please do so : https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx?panel=3

I called 941-312-2236 which was posted by someone else on here as their call back number and they answered "Hello card services" and I didn't say anything...they kept saying hello, hello and then hung up. I called back and now no one is answering. Maybe if we all call THEM they'll stop calling US!

I have called them on 941-312-2236 so many times that they now don't answer...guess they now know what it feels like....if every one would call them and lead them on, waste their time like they waste ours then we might be able to put a stop to this.

Keep calling the number over and over and curse them out. If everybody does this it will tie up the lines. Just keep hitting redial over and over. it drives them crazy/

I am usually very alert to scammers. This time I fell for the spiel that they could get my rates lowered. Charged me $795.00 on a good card I had. They said it would take about 60 days to get them lowered. After Googling "cardmember Services Scam" I realized they got me (temporarily). The freaking 60 days is the time you have to dispute (cancel) a transaction. Since I only did this on Dec 1, 2011 I am calling the CC company to cancel this charge on Monday.
I have caller ID, best thing in the world. Just don't answer "Cardmember Services" calls.

I received call from 941 312 2236 saying they could lower interest rates, they seemed to have quite a bit of info on  me, hum! where could they have got that from?

Anyway I called my credit card company to report them -  and ask how they could have possibly got "private" info on my account and well my credit card company hung upon me !!!

Makes you wonder who's in bed with whom these days.

Wonder if an insurance payout for a stolen card is worth more than the interest the cardholder pays on it.

I got the call this morning, from 425-390-8134, and was almost going for it, but was actually on my way out of the house, so I asked the guy to call back...He was hesitant, said they don't usually do that, but he DID call back just a minute ago!  I'm glad I checked the web.  He had me going.  Sad, but true. Have never done that before, and glad I stopped when I did.  Thank you all!

Just got a call from Card Member Services at 206-216-2166.  First off he says he has my information from Experian about my cards but then he had to ask for my first name?  Yeah that gave it away right there.  I'm so sick of these people. Does anyone know what happens when they actually go through with this information?

got call from 502-442-7070 "card member services" and pressed 1 and told the guy that he could take his scam and shove it and I am sick of it. He says it is not a scam, to which I reply then why do you call from a different state everyday, and each time I request not to call again.  Then the next day its a new area code.  Said to stop f#cking calling me.  One hour late got a call from 920-602-0879, same BS.  This is absolutely ridiculous.

Been getting the same calls on and off for the past year.  Finally have begun reporting to the DNC list.  Don't know if it will do any good but if I do nothing nothing will happen.  2 Number I have been getting are 800 847 2900 and 407 545 9999.  I have done as many have here.  Pressed #3 to stop the calls.  They called back a few minutes later.  Pressed #1 to talk with a rep, queried as to what co and their phone or address.  Asked for a supervisor, gotten nasty, asked politely, all have the same result, CLICK.  I believe they are in violation of several laws even before they get to the scam.  I thought it was some sort of scam and luckily I have never given them any info not even my name. We need to keep reporting to get this scam into the light of day.

Been getting these calls for a while now. They keep changing the number and calling again. I've reported them, called my state Attorney General, the hone company... Anybody who will listen. Nothing I do seems to make any difference at all. Maybe we can shave a little off the national debt by eliminating the DNC registry and the associated government salaries attached to it. What a joke!

If somebody could cme up with a way to stop these SOB's, I'd pay $100 right now!

During 2011, I received over thirty annoying calls from Card Member Services advising me that this was my last notice to lower my credit card interest. However, I have no credit card debt. I complained to my carrier (AT&T), who showed me how to block the number, which was of no value because the number is continually changing.  Hopefully, some one smarter than I can figure out how to stop these scammers from harrassing folks, because I am having no success at it.

    Not surprised
When you try to register a complaint with the FTC, guess what you get

FTC MESSAGE:  Our System Is Experiencing Difficulties

NO JOKE, WE ALL KNEW THAT ALREADY

    https://complaints.donotcall.gov/CustomError. ... laintcheck.aspx

It seems what has happened is that EVERY TOM, D**K, and HARRY Telemarketer has set themselves up as Non-Profits or Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to side step the DO NOT CALL List.

My Local Newspaper Even Does it Now, they call, I don't subscribe, I tell them I'm on the Do Not Call List, they say, Oh It's Ok, We're Calling About a Coupon Offer We Have, like that gives them the right to side step the law.

call (888) 583-1956 or (800)525-2956 and give them a taste of their own medicine.  I've had seven delightfull hang-ups today but plan to continue tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and...  Bury them in their own feces, it's the only thing that bottom feeders like this understand.  I also will continue to file complaints with the FTC.

    FRUSTRATED
I've had the exact same experiences described above. Very frustrating. I report online constantly, but may try calling my phone provider's security office as another person suggested.
