I received call on my cell phone so full of static I could not understand caller with his heavy accent. Hung up. He called nine more times within three minutes. He left a threatening message on his tenth. He calls from unavailable or 1-028-551-013. The number he left for me to return his call is 858-777-1977.Two hours later he was going to start up again. I called him what he was, told him my detective husband would call him at 5pm. He hung up. His last call to me was at 2:50pm. I called him back at 3:20pm to ask for his address. He didn't know. He only knew he is a law firm in California. When I said I needed his exact location for the police, he put me on hold. It's now 10pm and he still hasn't called me back.

    i received several threatening phone calls a few months back from various area codes stating they were "charlie Brown", "Michelle Smith" and "Larry Brown", i finally got very rude back to these people with their heavy indian accents telling me i was going to be sued and they had my last four digits of my ss#, bank information and work information. they contacted my job and family members i had used for references almost a year ago for a pay day loan. After telling them i saw their scam on ABC News.com, and contacted my bank and Districts Attorneys office, they stopped. Suddenly, they are back!!!! this time calling from 646-843-2313 and other local NYC area codes. they are threatening the same thing, i received 9 calls alone yesterday. i refuse to pick up and even amuse these foolish scam artists! If everyone ignored them, maybe they would stop??? i dont know what else to do>> anyone have any suggestions, or a resolution?????????

    Has anyone received a call from "Alex Matthews" 347-923-3867?  I received a very disturbing call on voicemail leaving this number.  The call will not go through.

    I just got a call from the same guy!! He was very rude and said that he needed my attorneys information because I was being sued and that they were going to have the local state police come to my place of employment. What should I do...email me. ninnerny10@yahoo.com

    We are getting no less than 10 calls a day, sometimes back to back with threats cursing and the same "you owe, you pay now or go to court/jail" crap.

    We have filed complaints with the FBI, the FTC and our state AG's office. I spoke to the illustrious Justin Floyd today and told him we know all about their scam. I was met with cursing and "you're in lots of trouble" crap.

    I received a message from a gentleman claiming he was Alex Parker (with heavily accented voice) it was urgent that I call ACS Law Firm. I returned the call and spoke to a gentleman claiming he was an attorney Alan Jones (also with heavy accent). Was threatening me and repeating himself that I had a law suit against me. Was very rude and asked me if I was at work or home because he was going to send someone to investigate. I told him I would not tell him where I was so he asked where I was headed, refused to tell him. He told me I could lose my job. I was very upset by the phone call and started looking on line and found these messages. Who can I contact to report this??? I then tried to call them back and there was no answer!!

    I have forwarded a complaint to the FBI and have tried to contact these crooks and was hung up on when I told them I was forwarding a complaint to the FBI. DO NOT give these scammers any personal information and contack the FBI IMMEDIATELY if the calls persist...

    Being Scammed I'm Sure
    I got a call from 347-635-5961 saying I owed money from a previous payday loan, which I paid off.  They are threatening to come to my office an have me arrested.  I called them back and asked for their company name and gave me ACS Law Firm in Campbell, CA.  The 347 area code is in New York.  Extremely bad English could hardly understand them.  Never received any paperwork.  I will contact the FBI.

    I just got a call today at 0800am sayin there was a law suite againist my name and ss number i delt with this bs be4 sayin i took out an online payday loan?! i turned it in with the news the 1st time it happened was in nov and now! My husband is calling them and they just keep hanging up on him wow what a joke thank god i put a freez on my credit and a red flag on my ss card, Now this dan martin just said the cops were gonna come to our house in 30 mins?!

    they keep calling me with threats and they've even started calling my extension at my job from this number (+704052497347) and yes the guy sounds like he's from India very heavy accent - sounds like he's calling from a small capsal with an ecko in the room or what have you....it's very annoying - I have used the loan companies before and they've drained me dry with fees and I've paid them out - looks like I'm going to have to change all of my information just to get them off of my back and my life.

    i think that is a good idea and i hope it works for me they continue to call my work place and harass my co-workers but today i think i will try what you are saying and i will give you an update on how it works.... i even have a detective calling them...

    i have gotten 347-416-5126... i made a report to the local police department and their detective looked into all of this and said that they use some type of machine that scrambles up their location so that they can not locate them... i hate this... i told my boss to tell them that i don't work here anymore just so they will stop calling me...

    They call me at work all the time. My ex is a Sheriff's Deputy and he's helped me with this info. First thing, they cannot send anyone to arrest you. A Payday Loan (even if it is legit) is a Civil matter and you can't be arrested for it. The only thing a cop can do to you is serve you if you are actually being sued! Also, tell them to go ahead and serve you! You already know it's a bogus scam, even if they have your personal info, so call their bluff! I say get as many names and numbers as possible and go to the highest authority possible. I think the FBI is a great place to start! My next step is my state prosecutor and my local news has a reporter that goes after people like this! FIGHT BACK!

    I just received a call from ASC law firm - they called my work.  They said they are suing me for a loan with a quick cash loan - I have never taken a quick cash loan out.  This is a total scam - they barely spoke english - the line was fuzzy and I could hardly tell what they were saying.  They called my work - I am not sure how but they have all of my information - my SS# and everything.  I am going to my attorney now with the little bit of information that I have.  I have a phone # - 325-245-0507 or 212-716-6274.

    They just called back as I was typing this and said that they want to f*** me and tape it and send it to world.  These people are out of their minds....  I am call the lawyer now...

    I just logged a complaint with the Sheriff's office - he said that in this community he has had 2 other complaints against them already!!  Report this to your Sheriff.

    ACS #    347 - 416 - 5035    Call them and harass them back.  Make sure to do #67 first to block your number though before calling!  

    Wow this has just started happening to me.  An guy who has a very heavy Indian accent says he is from ACS leaves a number as 1-347-416-5035.  This indian guy keeps calling at all times during the day leaving threatening messages pretending he is an officer of the law (Using American names, ha ha like Don Smith) asking for money.  His last message said that my husband would lose him job if we did not call him back to give him money.  He has also left messages saying that the police will be at our door and that they will put out an arrest warrant.  The number comes in showing directory assistance or unknown caller or even a local number in Haines City, FL....so you think it is someone local.  The police have told me that they get a local number to go through so you will answer the phone, but they are really calling from out of the country.  They are using SCARE TACTICS!!!!     DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR INFO.  HE IS AN IDENTITY THEFT ARTIST WHO WANTS TO HAVE YOU WIRE HIM MONEY!  Do not do it!  It is a scam!!!!  They are calling from India at a call center.  They are not real!  They are fake! I have called the police, etc... and have made complaints.  They told me to change my number.  Which I did.  Everyone call this guy and start harassing them back!  Freaking SCAM Artists.....get a real job and quit trying to hurt Americans!

    This same thing is happening to me.  I keep getting calls from these idots that cant even say my name if they had to!  I finally got a voice mail telling me where there were from (that i could understand) and i looked it up and this is what i found!  I cant WAIT til they call me back again, uts going to be a good day for me!  Thank the lord i never fell for this

    this is a bunch of bull shiz my mom ceeps getting theese calls from acs saying we owe bank loans and pay day loans weel the next time they call me im going to pretend im from acs and say my name is aheb and  say they owe me payday loans or im going to have the cops breing them to court lol do not fall for this its all a scamm just keep callling them back and give them a taste of there own madicen i hope that noone falls for this crap
