I received call on my cell phone so full of static I could not understand caller with his heavy accent. Hung up. He called nine more times within three minutes. He left a threatening message on his tenth. He calls from unavailable or 1-028-551-013. The number he left for me to return his call is 858-777-1977.Two hours later he was going to start up again. I called him what he was, told him my detective husband would call him at 5pm. He hung up. His last call to me was at 2:50pm. I called him back at 3:20pm to ask for his address. He didn't know. He only knew he is a law firm in California. When I said I needed his exact location for the police, he put me on hold. It's now 10pm and he still hasn't called me back.

    Give it right back to them...they are very rude dont give any info...when I asked for a managers number the guy said why so you can have sex with him..now i call them all day long and just say nothing and wait for them to hang up and call back...number 205-417-2414

    I'm having the same problem people with heavy accents keep calling my cell phone and calling my work leaving threatening messages I'm talking about how I'll be brought up on charges for check fraud and all sorts of stuff they are very rude & they won't stop calling, my employers are aware of the situation but it still embarrassing I'm just like most of the people on here they got my information thru a pay day loan they don't scare me but it pisses me off that they call my place of business with threats !

    This company has started calling my external family memebers that live in another state. i attempt to call with a private number and they wont even pick up. i have not had an cash advance in over 7 years. This is crazy. They told my family memeber that i have a lawsuit against me. Dont believe them if its super serious and officer will serve you papers. this is the number i got 88845127409. I so want to sue them. how can i report them

      Police or the Sheriff do not go to your house and arrest you because of a default on a loan.

      First-go to ftc.com and file a complaint. It's very user friendly. The thing is it is very difficult for them to be pinned down. They give bogus info and move all the time. Bunch of bottom feeders.

    ive ben getting calls for two days.saying im being sewed,going to court.news to me.six diffrent numbers .says his name is mike smith,ali baba more like it heavy accent ,could barely understand him.said was from  anderson law firm then baker@mackinzy law  then acs law firm,i asked for his superviser he hung up. calls back tells me im going to court cant even tell me where.after 16 phone call i told him ill pull ur stinkin arab azz through the phone and@%^^%%$$ well you get my drift.no more calls yet.             the numbers are 940 580 2402 texas   772 318 4266 fl  282 726 2524 il   thies azzes have all my info allso  bewhere

    I had a message on my answering machine saying to call them back at 1-877-367-8350 regarding a court summons involving my attempt to defraud a credit institution.

    I called the number back and got directed to an answering machine which said, "Mr. Tate" and started recording.

    I gave the case number they gave me in the original message, and told them to call back.

    I know I have no loans whatsoever, so defrauding a financial institution was unlikely, so I hit the internet and found this forum.

    This morning, I called the sheriffs office to find out if a suit had been filed against me, and if there were indeed any papers to be served on me.

    The lady at the sheriffs office ran the number 877-367-8350 (which was the contact number they gave me.  I have no idea what number they called from) and said it was nothing to worry about.

    So I contacted the attorney general's office.

    the next time they called, they wanted the last 4 of my social....  same story as all the others on here.

    This is just a fraudulent fake "payday loan debt collection" scam, run from overseas, probably India.

    They often start harassing following an application to a fake "payday loan" website.  That is one way they get identity information to use in the con.

    All alleged "debts" are fake, and they cannot carry out their threats.

    They are just criminals, hiding behind an ocean and using cheap VoIP phone service, to scam Americans.

    I have been receiving calls from these guys for at least a year.  They call my cell, my work, my department's administrative assistant.

    I actually filed bankruptcy in May and try to give them this info - they say that their debt is not protected under US Bankruptcy Law which is a bunch of bull.  I also ask them to call my attorney, but they hang up before I can give them the number.

    These call are very disturbing.  Not only do they threaten to have me arrested, but when i am persistent with them that I believe they are frauds they get abusive and have use very nasty, suggestive language with me.

    Lately, I always tell them that I am recording them for my protection and they hang up.

    I have reported them on all the various websites but they continue to call from new numbers.  The latest was Sean Watson from 212-461-0940.

    Wish we could do something about this.

    they are scams these people do not know what it means to follow the FDCPA LAWS all collections agency's have to follow those laws, but these people are just ruthless, I for a face know of 7 different people that have been taken for thousands of dollars from these people. After doing some investigation of my own, I have found out that when someone goes online and applies for a loan no matter if you paid it off or not, if that creditor places it on your credit report these lowlifes hacked into the teletrack reporting agency and get all your information they will than contact you and tell you that you owe this and if you dont pay they will have you and your family arrested ect, THERE IS NO DEBTORS JAIL ANY MORE, yes if there is a court date and you miss it than they can arrest you on a bench warrent for not showing up in court but THEY THEMSELVES CANNOT HAVE YOU ARRESTED CONTACT DETECTIVE DOUG ZLOTO OF HOMELAND SECURITY SECRET SERVICE HE IS INVESTIGATING THESE PEOPLE!!!     So yea these people have called me and my daughter harassing us about how i didnt pay a loan! the people had heavy heavy accents. i could hardly understand them. the 000-000-0000 number showed up sometimes too. or the 5678-1234 numbers. they threatened to sue me and told me i would not win the case and i would be sent to prison and lose my professional license! As a result, i paid them the first time, sending them a fax and a letter to state that i paid the money, and NOW acs is saying i owe them over nine hundred bucks! for what?? Im so glad i saw this website. they left an email about some lawsuit today. THIS. IS. OUTRAGEOUS! How do you put a stop to something like this?? Should i continue to ignore them?

    I received a phone from the same people, they not only called me but by children also.. How embarassing is that.. They had all my information, I asked them to send me papers, and they told me they sent letters to my house which I never received...They also told me that they are going to take me to court that I owe $640.00 from 2009... they also had the work place that I supposedly worked out... What really bother me was calling my children...

    Got this email today... LMFAO Big time fraud.... Bail fees again LMFAO. Guess they must think people are idiots. If this was ligit it would be Civil not Criminal.  So I attached to web addresses how they are a bootleg company... Havent heard back.... Great laugh to start my day

    i have had the same problem they called me and called me finally i returned the call and they said i was going to be arrested i have five kids so i called a friend which works in a law firm and told me it was a scam we have to do something about this we all have to work together

      I agree with you.  We all need to stick together and do something about this.  These pieces of garbadge have our information and then they want to threaten, insult and steal from us.

    OMG!!! This "place" ACS Law Firm has just about blowed my phone up today!!!!  "Allen Smith" has called me 7x, telling me I have committed bank fraud,money laundering and just about everything illegal concerning money. He calls, I don't answer so he leaves a ugly message,he calls right backm I answer we arguem I try to get any kind of info from him,,he hangs up. Does anyone know who to report him to ??? I want these phone calls to stop!!!!!!!!

    To make a long story short...the will call you, your family, you employer stating you owe money. If you don't pay you will be summoned to court and/or arrested. They give generic names such as Anderson, Cooper, Smith, Taylor, Anderson, etc. Sometimes they have accents, sometimes not. They will refuse to give you their website address stating that is private information or tell you they don't have a website. They won't give you a physical address or will give you a phony one. Somehow these scammers have obtained old loan or debt documents fraudulently and are calling out on these (whether you paid them or not). They want your debit/credit card information. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO!From research I have learned that they are being investigated by the FBI, Law enforcement, Attorney General and FTC. They use some type of prepaid phone, magic jack or vonage so they have hundreds of different phone numbers they give. None of these numbers can be traced to a physical address. If you call them out on their BS, they will cuss you out or hang up on you. I have been calling them repeatedly now and asking for their website address, etc. They refuse. Just pisses me off that these people take advantage of people with scare tactics. I hope that nobody falls for this and gives them any personal info, card numbers or bank account numbers. Being as they have obtained these records somehow, they will have your SSN, DOB, driver's license number, phone number, relatives information. They have obtained this information illegally. If you call the company they say the debt is originally owed to (that is if you even owe a debt), the company will tell you this is a scam. This company violates so many laws regarding debt collection, it is so obvious. They leave your personal info, amounts owed, etc. on other people's voicemails which is illegal. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Report these idiots to as many agencies as you can such as FBI, Attorney General, FTC, etc. Put a fraud alert on your credit. If you have given any bank or debit/credit card info you need to cancel those accounts immediately. I am sorry to everyone that has had to deal with these lowlife scum. What goes around comes around. If they continue to call, I will be calling them relentlessly. Hopefully they will see they have picked the wrong person to mess with.
