    About to change my number
I just about smashed my phone at 5am when it rang. AGAIN it was cardmember services. I'm about to hire a lawyer and sue them. Everything they are doing is against the law, plain and simple. It's harassment, invasion of privacy, and stalking through an electronic device. I've talked to Chase, and they claim it is not them, however they are not willing to do anything about it. If this does not stop soon, I have half a mind to sue Chase and their cardmember services. They can say it's not them all they want, however every lead points to it being a scam that Chase themselves has made.

YOU ARE A MORON! WHY would CHASE CARDMEMBER SERVICES treat you like that if you're ALREADY a customer? REALLY, YOU entertained the idea that a PROFESSIONAL credit card company would call you and offer lower interest rates without using YOUR NAME or THEIR NAME AND A CONTACT NUMBER!!! It would be HELLO MR/MS, THIS IS SO-&-SO FROM CHASE CREDIT CARD SERVICES, CAN I HELP YOU REDUCE YOUR CREDIT CARD INTEREST RATE! NOT an impersonal recording NOT stating "WHICH" card services is calling. COME ON PEOPLE......WAKE UP!!!! Either you are getting threatening "collection" calls WITH these or YOU hate REAL PEOPLE!

Wow. Just because someone pointed out your blatant stupidity doesn't mean you need to be an a**hole. You deserved it you moron.

Tom ... lighten up ... you misunderstood ... it's not "CHASE CARDMEMBER SERVICES" that we're all up in arms about ... it's "Rachel from cardmember services" ... two completely different things ... one would be a legitimate call that probably would not be calling to lower credit card rates (and thus cut their profits) ... no, "cardmember services" is a scam that tries to get card information from unsuspecting consumers ... most posts to this blog are right when they say you can't get rid of these people ... pressing "3" to delete your name from their call list certainly doesn't work ... it probably moves your number up the priority list since their robo-call machine would then know someone answered the phone ... getting a human on the line is futile if you intend to complain ... they just disconnect the call ... I've found the only way to diminish the frequency of calls from these crooks is to press "1" to get a rep on the line, then vaguely lead then along till they want specific card info, then tell them you'll have to go get the card, then leave the phone and don't come back until they hang up ... this wastes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes of their time ... hopefully, they'll flag the number as a waste of time and reduce calls to that number ... try it ... and Tom, you need to apologize for calling that other person a "moron".

Me too.  I press 1 then play along and ask who they are.  Guy today told me "Creative Solutions" in Orlando.  I googled creative solutions on the spot and (surprise) no such company.  He asked for my credit card number which I said I would not give over the phone, identity theft and all that.  He was very polite and said he understood then hung up.  Someone is doing a highly organized scam here. Time to go to the FTC.

I just got yet another call... at 830 am.... I don't have caller ID, but I *69'd it and got 661-388-1670.  I went to the National Do Not Call website (www.donotcall.gov) and filed a complaint.

Thanks for reminding me about *69.  I am getting at least one call per day from Rachel.  I did *69 and have just reported telephone number 407-476-5501 to the national DO NOT CALL complaints section.

Cardmember Service. (Chase = cardmember is  0ne word, service not plural).

Card Member Services is not Chase as far as I can determine.     BUT I really just read the riot acr to another company with a similar name (Card Services) & they assured me it wasn't them.   So if we know its a scam, what is our option? Repeated calls day after day on home phone & 2 cell phones...all 3 on DNC Registery.  The whistle is probably a good idea, but there ought to be someplace that we can register a united complaint and get some results....
EMail petitions is not the answer..I would guess flooding our Congressmen in DC is probably the best answer. I think single emails are now accepted, but wouldn't bet on it.   Good luck to us all!!!

Rachel at "Cardmember Services" has been calling our cellphones for months.  As soon as we hear "Rachel" or they get a few words into their recorded spiel, we hang up.  We still get occasional calls, but not too bad.  Maybe they are getting tired of calling us.....?

Got yet another call from Rachel at Cardmember Service(s).  Different number, same sh-t.  Gotten so bad, I rarely answer any call from an unfamiliar number because 99% of the time it's a scam call like this one, which totally ticks me off.

There should be a special place in H--l for these people and, while they're still alive, may they fall victim to their own (or similar) harassing schemes.

LOL You just proved to us all how stupid and nieve the scammers are at Card Member Services. How about going back to scool to learn how to spell, and then try to make a living flipping burgers instead of scamming folks? We all know you are some sort of demented prison group attempting to get credit card numbers so you can "make a living". News flash. You WILL get caught. You are the lowest of the low. Nuff said?

Call your local phone company and ask for the Annoyance Call Bureau and file a complaint. They can trace the call if it is out of state. If they call again, report them to the police for obscene phone calls if you can get them to curse at you. It should be easy to do that.

these stupid people have been calling me for a year now and every time i ask them to please remove me from their call list then hang up on me.

i started making a list of what month, day, time and number they're calling from. i started that seven month ago now. when i try to call them back, from the numbers they call with, the numbers are "out of service".

it's gotten to the point that i'm ready to tell them i'm suing them. this is harassment and i won't stand for it. somehow i'll find a way to stick it to them!!
