I was duped into paying for a service that was not preformed on my computer.  I asked for three programs to be removed and Adobe Flash properly installed on my computer.  In fact I thought  I had or was in contact with the Adobe company.   I am in desperate need of  a refund of my money.   My  computer is not working properly and I am out $255.++.

That would be thank you GuruAid for paying my salary - except that if you had made the sentence this long, we would have spotted your poor command of English!

i tried to used these clowns,  they are dishonest, i would NOT recommend them to ANYONE..

i asked for some html/website help, they immediately told me that MY computer was a problem, and they needed to log on remotely and "fix" it..  the question had nothing to do with my computer, it had to do with html code for a website..

I called Comodo technical support and hung up because it wasn't customer service and guruaid called me back some how. Took over my computer and ran a scan saying that they were part of Comodo technical assistance. Said that there were warnings, errors, and viruses and that they would fix it. Then they said they were guruaid and that they charge $159.99 per year. I told that [***] that I have Comodo for that and to [***] himself!!!

I had a problem on the computer the other day. This is new computer. Using since last three months. As a lay man i thought it will be covered under warranty. But i was wrong thanks to guru aid. The company that I bought this from and others  wanted to charge me 199.99 to 399.99 for a service which Guru Aid provided for 160. Guess what they have a toll free number and the annual subscription mean I can call them any time 24 x 7 ,  365days a year and i  did not have to wait for long time for some one to answer my phone. This is for all those people with fake IDs on this blog & for posting wrong messages on the logs and also those people who are not aware of guru aid just call up 855 575 5140 & find out for your self.

Today I found myself talking to one of these jokers, who called himself Ricky Anderson but strangely, had an Indian accent when I tried to call Microsoft about a Hotmail problem.

This joker downloaded an AVG scanning programme onto my computer - I mean, really, AVG! - and then tried to persuade me that I had over 8,000 registry problems but that for half an hour of his time I would have to pay £63 and that I should go and make myself a coffee while he does it.

When I told him that I could not afford to pay this at the moment, he warned me that this problem would only get worse if I left it alone.

He also told me that in 30 years, the company had never had a complaint, so I suppose that this entire thread and others that can be found elsewhere must be an illusion created by my troubled mind.

Go away and rot, Guru Aid!
