I was duped into paying for a service that was not preformed on my computer.  I asked for three programs to be removed and Adobe Flash properly installed on my computer.  In fact I thought  I had or was in contact with the Adobe company.   I am in desperate need of  a refund of my money.   My  computer is not working properly and I am out $255.++.

These guys are fraudulent!  I can tell the same story about letting them take over my computer, installing AVG etc., telling me my computer was infected big time and wanted $150 for a year service contract.  Anyone giving them a good review on this blog are likely part of this scam.  Beware!

was possible hacked by this companyy
I called this company which was listed  at- google as (viper customer service)  I needed to see why my flash drive  from Vipre security didn't fit my computer. The guy on the phone from India asked to get acesss into my computer, at first I wasn't sure if I should let him but he said he need to check my computer  to see if it was compatable with the flash drive.well after about 20 minutes and being put on hold I figure out this co isn't- viper.  after asking questions i knew something was up. anyway, about 15 minutes  after I hung up  after  asking the guy "why didnt you tell me you weren'"t viper,,my  computer starts to malfunction I think it has a serious virus. They are scammers, Dont trust them I reported them to the FBI for follow up.

I called Guruaid thinking I was calling McAfee customer service. I let them remotely access my computer and they scared me into paying for a one-year contract with them. They told me it was seriously infected and I needed to have it serviced. If I didn't, it would crash by tonight. If I did, they would have it running like brand new. Quite a promise! No way I would have shelled out $169 otherwise. After they were done (4 hours later) I was still having major problems. I bought SpyHunter, which found hundreds of problems with my computer. i bet Guruaid was responsible for a fair share of them. How do they get away with this? I cannot believe how elaborate this scam is. Guruaid seems to hire people/companies to leave them rave reviews. We need to fight back. The more I look into this company, the more I learn that I'm not the only one that Guruaid has screwed. Please, everyone join my facebook group "GURUAID IS A SCAM"

I Think the wonderful service they are providing at the dirt cheap rate is extremely welcomed in American Tech support industry as we as a big Nation charge very high for theses services.

Guruaid.com is really a well managed partner of all the major companies in English speaking nations

I was persuaded to leave norton by guruaid.. I just fancied a change.
I was willing after 2 hrs of persuasion to leave norton.
I am not easily persuaded. Little did I realise what a nightmare I wud hav.
They told me that the negative things on line were lies but I discovered that the negative comments were true.
From the day I joined I got numerous trojans viruses and infections. Whilst runnin full scans the computer was at risk. I was afraid to use it. I lost days off work with them being on my system for hours and hours and hours. Some of them sounded so nice and calm but others were the exact opposite. There were communication problems . Some technicians were quite arrogant and dialogue was unreasonable with them.
They said they wud give me back my money after 3 wks of absolute hell. I am still waiting for it.
The person in charge is the worst. He is like a stubborn donkey who refuses to budge. They want u to pay $169 snd then within hours they ask for about the same amount to stay with them for 3 yrs.
I left when I cud take no more.  I went back to norton for less than half what guruaid charged me. I had no further problems and now I can sleep at nights.
I have truely learned my lesson.how stupid I was.
This company needs to be investigated.
    I feel abused  almost raped.

There is nothing legit about this company. They misleadingly represent themselves as the legitimate outsourced tech support for major software companies. If you need no other proof that they have no professional ethics, look at the number of posts from "users" none of whom apparently speak English as their native language. This company makes a practice of misrepresenting themselves. Even if their services were good (which they are not), that violation of trust should tell you to steer clear.

all ican say is this company is a top rated scam. they actually changed their name 3 times charged me an arm and a leg and my machine has just become worse and worse and its a good HHP computer. So if anyone is reading this like I should have stay away from guruaid. they are just scam arrrtist making your machine worse. Iactually think they do that on purpose to activate more money for themselves.

I have been using guruaid for over four years, & I can honestly say, the people at guruaid are Absolute MASTERS of any computer made, <> On several occasions I asked them to take 'remote control' of my comp & fix the problems I was having. - They did & I have always been completely satisfied, with the service.. guruaid employees don't lie to anyone, NOT EVER! <> there is one company here in the U.S. that provides the same services as guruaid. Perhaps you should contact them & ask for help? That company charges a monthly fee, if you us their services or not.

I'm not sure about GuruAid. I went on line to Microsoft help and they provided the number for GuruAid, so presumably they trust them. Anyway, I paid for 2 years support and they fixed my laptop and installed some protection. However, a few days later my laptop began cutting out and shutting down again. GuruAid fixed it and I was happy, but then the same problem developed last night, and this morning my laptop refused to start at all. GuruAid sorted this eventually, but cut themselves off before I could ask why my laptop still wouldn't properly. I phoned them back, but got the '-too busy message' Even as I write I'm being attacked by the same problem that affected me last night. So GuruAid have not fixed my laptop. My God, what can I do?

I've had a few problems with my computer, but so far GuruAid has managed to sort them out. I have to say, they are always very polite and professional and they get things done. Now, having said that, I did seem to get hit with the same virus several times and I did have to contact them again, but I got a good response and I'm hoping that this time I'm truly sorted. It is just so hard to know what websites are dangerous, I mean, I don't go to any dirt sites, just yahoo, mail, facebook. Anyway, here's hoping.
