They call me at all hours of the day. I am on a maternity leave and they have been calling my office every day. They accuse my coworkers in lying and covering for me because they say that I am on leave.  I tried to talk to them but they are threatening me with police and say  they will take my vehicle.

    just stop payng them and drive car anyway. thats what i do. they charge over the legal state usury interest rates..they cant do this because they are not federally insured. its 8% max on a car loan in alabama, unless lender is federally insured. even then alabama courts still rule by alabama usury rates. i live in a gated residence and work at a gated facility. they have tried to repo car many times to no avail. i have pulled a gun on two repo punks twice and dared them to try. they will have to take me to court to recover car. they will never do this because they have broken sooooo many laws the judge would probably jail them on the spot(lol)

    also, dont be fooled by these lame so-called reality repo shows you see on tv these days. just propaganda to misinform consumers. you do have rights even if you are behind on car payments. repo laws are different state to state. in alabama car has to be recovered peacefully (meaning voluntarily)or by judicial order. cps will never go the judicial route. not in bama anyway.

    I've had issues from day 1 with them. Threatening calls, been called names....one of their calling centers is VERY
    close to where I live in Florida. My husband got on the phone with the guy calling me names and told me that
    he was personally coming to my home to get the car. My hubby told him to go ahead and come get the car, he
    could have it, but reminded him that we live in a very remote area and it would be smart of him to come
    in the daytime so he doesn't get eaten by the alligators around here....no more threats!

    We have continually been harrased and lied to by this company. would love more info on any lawsuit. They harrass me constantly and i dont even have a loan through them. please any info on a suit send to:

    My original loan was through Fireside Bank, then about 4 or 5 months ago I was informed my loan had be sold to Consumer Portfolio Services. In my almost 5 years with Fireside, never had an issue. If I was late I would get a reminder call, if I was really late I might get one call every other day and a recorded message. CPS,inc has hounded me non-stop, threaten to repo the car and even gone out of their way to say I was a liar when I tried to follow an agreement they suggested. Luckily I owe less than 2,000 on the car and will be done with them in about 6 months. This is a horrible company! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional operation than this group and I was thrown to them with no say. I hope somebody sues them for their unprofessional business practices and their obvious violations of collection practices. My advice pay them off, refi or take out a personal loan just to get these people out of your life!

    Can someone please send me info so that I can be included on this lawsuit.. They called my job about ten time back to back very rude and unprofessional... They are threatening to come get the car if I don't make a payment by 5:00 today.. I tried to explain to them that that I have been hospitalized for the last three month and just returned to work and they didn't want to hear it...

    This just happened to me as well.  Fireside sold my account to a collections agency.  I wasn't late at all, only had 2 payments left.  =(

    I made all my payments on time...Im in the military and it comes out of my pay without me seeing it. I deployed then my car was towed n den they tried to sale it...They put repo on my credit report when i made all my payment....lol...but i hv the car bk now...but it wasnt worth the hassle...

    HELLO ALL,
    I am at the end of my loan with CPS i have like less than $1200.00 left on my loan. They call and harass everyday, when are you making your payment? Why can't you make it today? Why can't you borrow it? Arguing, about when it is due. I am so sick of them. The most degrading thing is when they change their voice and attempt to be other people on the phone, when u just heard their voice earlier how dumb is that.Today i filed a complaint with the attorney General and they already have over 100 complaints. I am in columbus, ohio. Please send info about the lawsuit to sljean38@gmail. Thanks.

    These are the most obnoxious people I’ve ever dealt with in my life especially the VA location. Granted I’ve been late a couple of times due to being laid off from my job, I’ve always brought the payments back to current. However they will call you from sun up to sun down with their rude threatening remarks. What I’ve come to learn is they don’t like it when you give them a taste of their own medicine with your comments back to them. I’ve spoken to the managers and they are not any help. I’m sure I’ve paid for this car at least twice, but don’t want to lose the money that’s invested in it. Will be so happy when I can finally pay them off!! Please provide me with more information on the lawsuit.

    Why don't you idiots pay your bills. More or less your car payments. Then no one would be harassing you. You all deserve the harassment you get from them and that's what you get for buying something you can't afford. I wish I could go shopping in your house and "buy your TV" on credit then never pay you for it. You would be mad as well. Get a life people and become responsible
