I received a call by a man calling himself Jack Zachwalker. He said if I had a valid credit card w/ at least a dollar on it he could guarantee me a $200 gas card.  I would have to pay a fee of $3.90 to get the gas card. He called repeatedly.  Now the calls have stopped.

Guys, I am glad I went with my gut instincts on this one!  Indian accent guy just called me with the whole deal about how I was a "valued" customer and they are rewarding my good credit with a gas voucher.  All I had to do was pay the shipping of $2.00.  I came close but never bit, because it just sounded so freaking weird.  And his accent was majorly thick Indian, and he said his name was Harrison Parker!  Nice Indian name, eh?  I just will not give my credit card info over the phone!

I gave them my info and then researched and realized its a scam... I called the "cancellation" number.. which turned out to be a 411 service.. I laughed out loud when I called... Finally got to someone and every time I mentioned cancelling the order he would hang up on me, I would call back immediately and would actually get the SAME person every time!! How often does that happen?!?! These people are sitting in their houses eating cheetos or some [***]... it is CRAZY!!!! But anyway... I noticed a $1 MEMO pending on my account immediately after speaking with the rep named Jennifer Smith (INDIAN), who told me: "You will not be charged, not today, not tomorrow" atleast 5 times. They made me repeat information numerous times and kept reminding me that they were recording me as I agree to everything. When I began disputing everything, they told me: "Sorry, we have you on recording saying YES to everything".  I asked for a supervisor and was told by an INDIAN named "Josh" (Would not give me last name, said he was the only Josh working there), that his supervisor would tell me the same thing he was... I kept pushing it and eventually he began saying "I am supervisor and I cannot do anything for you"... I guess he was promoted to supervisor in mid-conversation??? LOL!!! Come on now.. This happened on a Friday, so all weekend I was terrified and kept watching my bank account.. FIRST THING monday morning I cancelled my debit card and the $1 memo has disappeared!!! Thank god..... But dont draw all of your money out thinking they cant get it... They'll take it plus leave you with a hefty over draft fee!! Just cancel your debit card and order a new one.. I got really lucky!!! But Im tempted to call the number and mess with them a little.. Good luck!!!

So glad I found this site.  This group called here as well the number showed up as 888-282-1375.  The man has a thick accent and he said he was from Mesa AZ.

Did anyone do this and it worked?  I refused to give out my information but I was just curious.

I also received call from these people.
They told me that i got qualified for the $200 gas voucher and they took my all information and also my credit card no.they told me that along with this $200 gas voucher,i'll be also getting two advertisement and they also made familiar with the charges. But they told me that these charges
are applicable only if wish to buy these advertisement. They told me that i am under no obligation,no contract and not signing for anything.it's just a 30 days risk free trial and after 30 days call up at toll free no and cancel it.Nothing will be billed to you.
I did same,i enjoyed the advertisement for 25 days and called them and cancelled it and nothing was billed to me.And now i am enjoying my gas voucher.
I think you all guys are spreading rumors.
Before blaming have you tried it ?
Just blaming in the complaining in the complaint box doesn't means it's a scam.
I think you guys should listen to them.

Michael Bennet, give me a freakin break!!! I KNOW that these scam artists read this stuff, I told the "representative" this: "After I hang up on you, why dont you go to GOOGLE.COM and search for your so-called company and you'll see exactly what people are saying about it! And go to bed knowing you're a dirty crook!!" So I have a pretty good feeling you're one of the dirty crooks!!! So STFU!!!!

I received a text message today stating that I won a $200 gas card and $20 gift card. They provided 2 phone numbers for me to call. I could immediately tell that this was a scam, but called and demanded to know how they got my phone number and which company was promoting this. The first number said that I had reached Kaza (or something like that) customer care, but they were closed. The next number was answered by a foreign woman who eventually told me that my number was chosen by American Auto Benefits. I googled it, and they had a new phone number, which I called. It was answered as the Universal customer service center. These people make me crazy. And why do I not know how to report this activity to officials?! The info I was given:

    Reward claim phone number 866-309-0719
    Stop receiving messages number 866-309-8187
    Universal customer service number 877-472-1629

You should be ashamed of yourself. Get a real job instead of trying to scam people! We all know you are a rep for AAB.
