hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

Well our buddies Robert Lewis Chapman and James Sletner (owners of CDWS and Warranty Administration Services) personally pocketed over $7 million dollars in 2008 by raiding CDWS of almost all of its assets according to this court document (See Page 8 !!).  They left $700,000 in CDWS coffers.

Mepco is sueing Chapman and Sletner for over $7 million for failing to defend Mepco (which sent CDWS money up front to pay for warranties and then Mepco collected installment payments from consumers).

    For Dad's Estate
My father purchased a warranty for his Ford Ranger through CDWS...the warranty is called ironically "Great Choice"...in September 2008.  His paperwork identifies the seller as First Nationwide Warranty Inc at 8358 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Ste 2 in Sunrise FL, 33351 (Phone 1-877-749-1998).  I called CDWS and got a voicemail directing me to an email address and website.  I called the seller and got a voicemail for a Residential Community.  Called the billing company, Mepco and got a voicemail run-around.  Obviously, my father fell for the scam.  I read in the CDWS literature that this warranty is transferrable, but only if the Administrator is notified in writing and approved prior to the transfer.  He passed away in April without warning, and although I haven't talked with anyone associated with this warranty, I suspect the "administrator" will void it because we didn't notify him/them that my father was going to die. I want to clear my dad's estate and pay his outstanding bills, I'm guessing this CDWS thing isn't going to help.

I've read several cries to 'start a class-action suit'.  Has anyone started the process or contacted an attorney?  If so I'm game to join.  I'm at Felion_2@comcast.net.

I purchased a warrenty service contract through Consumer Direct Warrenty Service and I am worried that I have been scammed!!! My vehicle is in the shop for repairs and the dealership has tried to contact someone from the warrenty division only to get the run around. First they were to submit a claim online or through a fax.  They tried both only to still get no response. I contacted MEPCO and spoke with the Supervisor, Ramon Levevson who told me that my contract was still good till 2015 or 100,000 miles. My car has 74,000 miles and the year is 2011 no will will speak with the dealership to fix my car.  We have tried resolving the matter for an entire week.  I paid those people $2,299.00 and felt that I was dealing with honest people, however now I feel that they have stolen my hard earned money. If there is a law suit against this company contact me at carlene1986@sbcglobal.net!!!

    UPSET AND ANGRY
THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!  YOU CANNOT GET A LIVE PERSON TO RETURN YOUR CALLS.  U.S. FIDELUS WENT BANKRUPT IN 2010.  THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!
I HAVE COMPLETELY PAID MY BALANCE TO FIDELUS AND NOW THAT I NEED SERVICE TO MY VEHICLE, I CAN'T GET ANY SERVICE.  WHY DOES THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW THIS! WHY DOES THE TV STATIONS ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN, THEY ARE JUST AS MUCH AT FAULT AS THIS COMPANY.
THEY KNOW THESE SORTS OF THINGS ARE HAPPENING TO THE CONSUMERS!
HOW CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THIS COMPANY IF THERE REALLY IS ONE!
I WORK FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND KNOW PROMINENT PEOPLE IN THE SYSTEM THAT CAN HAVE THEM INVESTIGATED IF I DON'T GET HELP!
ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK!!! PLEASE RESPOND!

To everyone, before you purchase a maintenance agreement for your vehicle please check  out the reliability of the company you're giving your money too.My experience with consumer direct warranty and pacific guard warranty ; a company which uses MEPCO  Finance Corporation as their financial backer has swindled thousand of customers out of their hard earned money. I am a victim ($2400.00). I went to a dealer on a Friday only to find out that the company isn't open on Friday. I also found out that the company had a disconnected phone number ( 1-800-414-4333) . I later found out that the company only receives claims through fax or email. It really doesn't matter because they received my claim from the dealer on 07/29/2011 and it is Aug. 4, 2011 and the claim has not been acknowledged. Yes, they are scammers and
con artist .Something must be done to bring these people to justice. They are getting filthy rich at our expense.
