hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

So I see that I am not the only one. I filed a claim about six months ago, and like every one else, it was declined. For the upkeep of my vehicle, I recently purchased the CarMD diagnostic, and it ran a check on my vehicle. The result came up yellow, and the recommended fix was the catalytic converter. Im going to take it to my Toyota Service, and have them look at it and then file another claim. Im confident that it to will be declined. please include me in any actions taken dana_flyer@hotmail.com

I to was scammed in March of 2009. I bought a warranty for my 04 Range Rover from a private seller. On the 8th month of having the vehicle, the water pump went out. The warranty company denied my claim off top! WAS- (Warranty Administration Services) reasoning was because it sounded like a worn part to this company. I read over my contract backwards and forwards and it stated to contact the seller if I had refund questions. I contacted the seller, Alexi Hammouri (Autobahn MOTORS-USA 1200 Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO 64111,(816) 531-3399  and he asked me to come back to his dealership so we could discuss the refund. Once I showed him how much I spent on this warranty, he said he couldn't pay that! Very rudely!!! I wanted to go postal on that ass! Instead I took the seller to court and the first Judge said that it was a conflict (because he does business with this dealership) and rescheduled me another Judge. The second Judge said, "What makes you think he is responsible? I said to the Judge, because he sold me the warranty and the contract states if I had refund questions to talk with the seller, which would mean Autobahn! Of course that didn't matter once I showed the Judge the contract and she stated that the wording on the contract didn't have anything to do with him. This has been a nightmare all the way around, NO CONSUMER protection in this place called America. But get behind in your bills and see how fast a collector moves in this country. When the dealership put in a claim it was denied. I called the broker I purchased my Consumer direct warranty from, Fidelity Automotive Solutions who are now out of business.  They told me "that company was never any good, they never cover anything.  At the time we sold you the policy the law in WA state only allowed us two companies to sell. CDWS was no good."
I Paid $3,000 for a 7 year warranty that has not and will not cover anything.  Class action suit yes  ttopcat50@hotmail.com

I had CDWS paying thru Mepco. Car went to shop and my VW needed a whole new top half of the engine. After awaiting the inspector the claim was finally approved for 1 part!! They would pay the $127.00 for the 1 part. But said they would not pay for anything that broke as a result of that first part breaking!! Now Fidelity the seller of warranty is out of business and you CAN NOT reach a live person at CDWS. Call Mepco and they said all they can do is refer me to CDWS. And they did mention they never can gegt in contact with CDWS either. Class action lawsuit YES!!! How do we get one started???

I was also screwed, I would like to join a class action lawsuit, I just pulled off the web a lawsuit from the State of Washington Office of Insurance Commissioner, in which they were ordered to stop selling these insurance (car warranties), it lists their address so if we do file a lawsuit we will know where they are.  James C. Sletner, 15676 Old Stage Coach Road, Redding, CA  96001 and Robert L. Chapman, 3790 Sunday Court, Redding, CA  96001. contact me at:  Tanbennett@ymail.com

I have been scammed, as well by Consumer Direct Warranty Services.  This is the second time I am trying to have work done on my vehicle.  I placed my vehicle in the shop on December 22, do to some problems with the catalytic converter, transmission transfer case and ball joints which are all covered under the "securechoice" warranty I purchased in 2009.  The claims department requested my mechanic to supply them with the maintenance history on the vehicle, and after faxing 26 pages, stemming from 2005 my claim was denied.  The reason, a bogus claim of me not following the maitenance agreement as stated in the contract.  I am now without a vechicle and paying a "car note" for a rental vehicle.  This is ridiculous.  Add me to the class action lawsuit if one is pursued.  Contact me at kimberly.humphries124@gmail.com.
