hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

I have just run into the same problem.  My contract was purchased by Direct Warranty Services that states it is with "Medco".  I bought the contract in 2009 and this is my first claim.  It is also with my transmission and the torque converter went out.  It took the company 5 days to respond the mechanic stating that they will only cover $1600.00 to fix my car.  That means they want $1100.00 more out of MY POCKET just to fix my car that is supposed to be covered under the warranty.  And if you get a rental car you have to pay for it first and hopefully you will get reimbursed by the company.  I currently have a call into their "adjuster" asking how did he come up with the amount of $1600.00 and if so then he needs to find me a mechanic that will fix it for that price and tow my car over ther.  I am also interested in a class action lawsuit because I have paid them close to $3000.00 and basically got nothing.  Contact me at arieslady29@yahoo.com

I have had the same problem that you have had with my vehicle.  I bought my warranty from Direct Warranty  Services that states its with Medco.  When I call the number on my contract they tell me there is no number to contact Direct Warranty Services.  They tell me the repair shop needs to e-mail or fax a request for authorization.  The repair shop tried this with  no sucess.  It is driving me crazy trying to figure out what to do.  I would like to be in on the class action lawsuit.  You can contact me at dennisbills2008@yahoo.com.

I tried to call today Consumer Direct Warranty Services for my air conditioner.  My story is the same as everyone elses. Did you find out anything if there is a class action lawsuit?  I, like others, paid approximately $2500.

I'm new to this company. Well I've had my first experience with them, my alternator went out in my 2000 VW Beetle ,The shop submitted the claim to them on tuesday finally recieved an answer on thursday I, had to miss work because of no car the estimated cost would be 485.00 ,This company would only pay 281.00 they went by the price of a alternator from China how does that sound a China made alternator in a German made car. They only paid a 100 n something for that and the res was labor .Here I thought this would be good, since my car is 10 years old it would cut the cost down for repairs for me sadly mistaken. What can do, I want to sue, and make them pay out the the nose.

It appears that it is U.S Fidelis not Fidelity Automotive Solutions.

I too have been paying into the extended warranty through Mepco for Direct Choice Extended Warranty service. Im down to my second to last payment. I took my car into my dealer today because of my starter. The number to call directs the mechanic to file the claim online for a quick response. An hour later there is no verification fax. I call. The girl says it could take up to one business day. I've had to rent a car. At this point I am also getting a very funny feeling. If a class action law suit begins, I'm on board too.

At 10:51:36, 07/07/10 My cllaim ID#51615 was denide due to non covered component. My transmission is part of the warranty.

Since I was denied how do I get my money back?

I have contacted consumer affairs, and will follow my complaint with the twenty five are more people with a class action suite because your consumer direct warranty services don't hold up to it word.

If your company can not help me to recover my money then I'll take the next steps nessary to get my money back.
