hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

My brother and I both purchased warranties from Consumer Direct and were told that even if autos were totalled we would get full refund (w proof from the insurance company). We were also told that if we did not use the warranty in duration of warranty (7 years), that we would also get a refund. 2007 HHR was totalled last year, and they refused to give refund saying I did not qualify. My brother's engine on his 2008 Hummer3 just went out, and dealer was unable to reach anyone by phone. Dealer was able to contact them by fax, but claim was denied. It is going to cost him $7000 to have motor repaired. If class action lawsuit is happening, please contact us at, email: robtsr1@msn.com.  Thank you!

We are in awe over this entire fraudulent act that has been, and continues by Consumer Direct Warranty Services (Vehicle Product Warranty).  The address we have for these people are Product Warrantly Finance/Billing Company "Mepco" 111 N. Canal St. Suite 375, Chicago, IL 60606   Called the number(800)397-6767 and was referred to 1(877)554-9836 and got the turn around, voicemail, mailbox full, excuses to deterr me from speaking to a REAL Customer Service Represenative.  Message says the business is open Monday-Thursday closed on Friday, but apparently, they are closed all week long, since no one was able to address my issue.  Our policy is paid in full, and the service we need appears to be null/void to these people.  We cannot reach ANYONE.  Please help us, if there will be a claim to get monies back.

I'm in the midst of the scam - trying to get my engine fixed. Mechanic can't get through. I'm not gonna have him file a claim online - seems like an automatic denial.

Please include me in the class action suit: jazqueen693@aol.com

I'm adding my name to the list.  I also paid Consumer Direct Warranty Services/MEPCO nearly $2,500 and now I despair of receiving any satisfaction on my blown transmission.  (I did try to file a claim a couple of years ago, but was told that it wasn't covered, which was actually true, once I read the contract more closely.)

Is anybody actually picking up these email addresses?  That is, have any of you been contacted?

I have had the same issue that everyone else has with this company. I had my car in the dealership and gave all of the info to the mechanic. I had also gotten a rental since my husband and I were off to our honeymoon. The mechanic called me letting me know the problems with the car and gave me the estimate to repair the car. So he called the warranty company and they denied the repairs and I got stuck wtih paying for the diagnostic and the rental car. So I called the warranty company myself and spoke to a rep to ask for my money back. They told me I had to have it for at least a year in order to cancel it. I called several numbers again today and all they have are recorded messages. I even tried to send an email on the website they give you on the recorded message but it's for repair work only. Add me to the class action lawsuit too please. Martinez_e415@yahoo.com

Everyone file a civil suit in your state with small claims court. for a judgement.  Have the lawyers send their collection agency to collect.

I am beginning to have a problem on my Hummer I like to have it check by a mechanic for repair but I am so hesitant to do so cos of the various complaints against Consumer Direct Warranty Services. I am scared cos I dont have money on hand to pay for the repair bills if CDWS fail to cover up the charges for the repair. What shall I do. Please advice.
