hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

    Purchased a warranty from Mepco also,finished paying for it took my vehicle in to be serviced they denied my claim because of failure to show receipt for an oil change which had nothing to do with what I needed service which was a thermostat for my air conditioner.Haven't heard from them as of yet thats been a year ago can't wait to get my full refund back from them I know it going to be a hassle but I'm in til the very end.

    I BROUGHT A VAN FROM VAN MAN ON SUNRISE HW AND THE TRAN WENT ON  ME WITH IN 6 MONTHS I BROUGHT A  CLEAR ADVANTAGE WARANTY SO CALLED WAS AND THOUGHT I DID A GOOD THING BY BUYING IT AFTER SPENDING 7,000 ON THE VAN AND NOW THEY ARE DENING THE CLAIM BECAUSE MY SHOP SENT THEM A HAND WRITTEN RECIET OF 2 OIL CHANGES THAT WERE THE ONLY THING THAT WAS ONE HE FAXED THEM OVER BECAUES HIS COMPUTER WENT DOWN HE HAS FIXED HIS COMPUTER AND RESUMITED THE OIL CHANGES AND THEY SAID SORRY WE WILL NOT HONOR THE WARANTY I CANT SPEAK TO ANY BODY AND ALL IS AUTOMATED AND NOW IAM TRYING TO GET A REFUND FOR THE WARANTY AND I CANT EVEN DO THAT  DO YOU HAVE A CONTACT # THAT YOU CAN ACUALY SPEAK TO SOME ONE I AM GOING TO HAVE TO SUE THEM IT LOOKS LIKE .

    SOUNDS LIKE A PROBLEM THE U.S. GOVERMENT SHOULD BE HANDLING. THESE PEOPLE ADVERTISE ON NATIONAL RADIO AND TV. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A FEW YEARS, AND NOBODY IS STOPPING IT..

    these are scam artists they will teel you they cover the water pump only if it is broken otherwise you are out of luck try to contact the good luck all you get is no one to answer, file with the ins comissioner in nevada and california I got taken. e mail me chompiras17@gmail.com

    I too am a victim of scam....I purchased and paid in full my warranty in Dec 2008. I took my car to the Nissan Dealership and found that I needed a starter. I provided all the necessary information for my warranty with CDWS/MEPCO. Well my claim has been denied because supposedly the starter is BROKEN!!! How do I get my money back and also where do I go to file a class action lawsuit?

    Supposidly purchased service policy from "MOGI" (Seller). Received booklet from "Consumer Direct Warranty Services" which lists Product Warranty Information as "Grest Choice". Who's on first. Booklet has great listings as to what is covered on the vehicle. Wow what a deal, only $2,190 for 100,000 miles of coverage. Three payments left at $109.50 and had my first claim, fuel pump in our 2001 Lincoln, approx $1,000 to fix. Had vehilce towed to Auburn Ford, Lincoln, Mercury. Dealer stated that he has had lot's of problems with them in past, "They deny all claims". I said let's try. Dealer filed claim, got claim number within 4 hours. They needed my service records, no problem, had them all, all electronically generated, I did not sign the copies that I kept, why would I? E-Mailed all to Claims department, claim denied and closed the next day. Reason, did not adhere to Acceptable Records paragraph in booklet. Typed letter and E-Mailed to claims department on 2/8/2011 as to what was missling from my info, still waiting for reply. Yeah I know "GOOD LUCK". Still have 85,00 miles to go on policy.     Decided to look at internet for other companies offering auto service contracts. When I looked at Renewable Auto Care(TM) (R.A.C.), I noticed that their LOGO, gear with road thru it looks almost identical to the one used by Consumer Direct Warranty Services, (CDWS). Also their "submit a claim form for dealers" is also identical to that used by CDWS. Interesting. Are the people at CDWS closing one company and opening a new one?

    Ditto on all of the above pages. My 2002 GMC Duramax has internal engine problems. All bad parts require lubrication. My contract with CDWS specifically states that covered parts include "All internal components of the engine that require lubrication for operation". I was informed that CDWS has denied the claim and no live person from that company will  speak to me and tell me why. This is my third time I have submitted a claim with them and third denial. I guess I'm kinda slow. Three thousand bucks down the drain. Will be in contact with David Richter at CPI.

    I just realized MOGI went out of business.  I called today and was told they went out of business in July 2010.  So since then, I've been paying for what?  Called today to cancel, and was assured it would be, but after reading some of the posts, I'm sure I'll have some "penalty" fees.  If there is a class action suit, I would like to be included.  I can be reached at maw_gray@yahoo.com.

    I am yet another victum of Consumer Direct Warranty Services.  I have complained to the BBB, the local TV station, the state attorney general, the county attorney general and the California Dept of Insuranc.  All these people know them and what they are doing to people.  The Better Business Bureau has them rated as an F with about 450 complaints filed in 36 months.  I just contacted the Federal Trade Commision to see if they can do anything.  These people are so obvious yet they are geting away clean with our money.  They said I did not do my oil changes even though I sent them 35 pages of maintenance records with 20 of them being for professional oil changes.  Wish we could do a class action suit, but they would just file bankrupcy.  Vinette

    mean to tell me they are still selling these fraud policy's our there... i got screwed on this in 2009...posted  complaints everywhere...why the @#%! doesn't anyone shut these people down. They are stealing money from people, literally...!!!!! I originally bought 2 policy's  canceled  one the very next day  and they never gave my $500 back!!! The next policy i kept until i need transmission work...guess what they would not cover it...i stopped making payments to MEPCO... What else can we do...anyone out there???  Brad Leslie 714-746-9920.

    I myself have faxed 22 pages 3 times, 16 phone calls, 11 emails meanwhile the customer's car sits here since 1/6/2011 with the same mileage as the car came in with and the mileage is the same as the 1st begin a claim only for to be denied. Stating the customer is still driving the car this company f/sucks and with all my power I will get my customer a refund or they will pay for this real claim.

    We here at Jatco's Auto Center base our repairs on honesty. The customer is always number one we are speaking with channel 7

    I am trying to file a clam on my corvette a leaking crank seal.I took it to the chevy, dealer.They said the clam was denied.So i am like all the other pepole no one will talk,all i get is a recording.So i guess my next step is get a hold of our Att. General may be they can help.I paid these scum bags $2460.00.FOR WHAT....
