hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

Can someone send me a telephone number for consumers direct.  I took out a contract with them back in 2008-9 and paid approximately $ 2800.00. I called them 7-8 months ago, and was denied a claim..
I was just told that, they would no longer be taking phones calls, and in order to file a claim, I would have to email them at www.beginaclaim.com. I went on the internet, but there were no settings for filing a claim-only complaints.
My transmission just went out on me and I have no way of contacting them or reporting a claim. Any help out there?

I have a problem with MOGI-PR  dba CDWS I purschase an extended warrenty on my 1997 Nissan Pathfinder on 8/26/2009 with a down payment of $229.00 and 18 monthly payments of $ 114.50 for a total amount of $,290.00 which I have paid off.  I have filed two cliams with CDSW, the first was for an Alternator for which I had to pay a partial payment of $302.00, because CDSW stated they would only cover a certian amount which  was about $ 350.00 on 8-6-2010.  I filed another cliam in 2011 for a drive shaft and UV- Joints for which was coverd under my warrenty for about $450.00, for which they stated that my vehicle had the wrong size tires on the, however my vehicle manual stated that these are the correct tires, my vehicle was shoppped for 5 days and  I had numerous conversation with thier Custumer NO Service ,and because I was getting the run-a-around I pay for the repair myself, and they refused to reimbursed me.  I am now experincing problems with my starter which is coverd under this warrenty, when I call the number listed in my CDWS warrenty which is 800-414-4333 that is no longer in service I was directed to questions@checkacliam.com which directed me to this site.  I have been ripped off for approx $ 3,005.00 and that does not even include the cost for the starter that I will need to replaced. I am  requesting that I be added to the class action law suit. Contact email eddie-clark@att.net.

This CDWS is a joke!  My policy is paid in full $2500 and I have not been able to get a single claim approved.  Has anyone had any luck in a lawsuit?  I dont think any of us should accept.  What we can collectivly do to make them pay for this scam.  shekegirl.kelly@gmail.com

      Hey Kelly,
I agree this company is a rip off. I did some research on CDWS and they were involved in a large lawsuit with another company in 2010. I believe the founders were sentenced. This explains the company's scam. What number did you have and did you have any luck making contact? I have been calling and emailing them for 5 days, no luck. I'm willing to jump on the lawsuit bandwagon.
Contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint immediately. The more complaints the better!!!

I purchased a warranty from Consumer Direct Warranty Service in 2009. I have not had to use it unitl now. I have my car in the shop and both the dealership and myself have been trying to contact them for 5 days. None of the numbers or websites on the contract or booklet are in service. I contacted MEPCO who handled my payments for CDWS. They gave me a phoney fax number and claim they have no idea what is going on. They'll take your money but wont help you with information about the company their scamming with. Anyone thinking about purchasing a warranty from this company please DO NOT it is a scam and you will most certainly get screwed!! Contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint immediately. And for anyone who has filed a lawsuit against this company please add me to the list. nfo4lp@yahoo.com

I have been trying to submit my request for services over a very long period of time.  Each time I am given a web page customerservice@cdwsnow.com from mepco the company that financed by warranty.  Please give me the correct contact information so that I may process my claim.  I feel like I am being given the "run around".  I paid mepco monthly over 18 months and now I am not able to get the service that I paid for.  Please forward me correct contact information if you have it

    My email is pgfrancisndc1@yahoo.com.

Please help me.  I do not want my warranty to run out.  I can be reached at 303 375-8063.  I am 68 years old retired with 1/2 income.  I thought that when  got the warranty that I would not have to pay for repairs that were covered by the warranty.  Was I jepped!  Frustrated and Unhappy!

Do not waste your time trying to get money from Consumer Direct Warranty Services (CDWS), Warrany Administrative Services (WAS), BuyerSafe, DealerSafe, Renewable Auto Care, Manufactures Direct Warranty (MDW), Safedata Management Services (SDM), or any other company related to "Jim" James C. Sletner or "Rob" Robert L. Chapman.  Do not file a lawsuit or try to collect.  You've lost your money so don't lose anything more time trying to get it back.

They owe a long list of people a lot of money - millions of dollars.  The owe vendors, employees, & finance companies alike, some are just as scammed as the customers (vendors include unsuspecting furniture company, IT/phone companies, etc.).  They have several million in judgements against them that have not been collected on.

If you want to do something, call the Federal Trade Commision (FTC) and report fraudulent sales in transactions that go state to state (they live in California with a corp registered in Nevada - if you're out of CA, you qualify). Ask them to press charges since these men knowingly committed fraud in the millions.  They thought since it was a bunch of indiviuals they could get away with it, prove to them otherwise if you want to do something.  Their slogan was, "it's just business" - show them how that works and call FTC.

I too was taken by Mogi and payed 222.35 a month for full warranty from 2010.  More then 4,000 I paid.  It's eats you alive that they had commercials all over the networks so I thought they were legit.

If anyone wants to sue, let me know.
