hello

im from california and about a month ago i purchased an extended warranty thru fidelity automotive solutions and the product i got was from consumer direct warranty services. i paid $395 down and am paying $127.78 for a total of $2695. so i was told by rob @ fidelity that my warranty would be activated after 30 and 1000 miles. so i waited and took my car in to the dealer for a diagnostic. the dealer then tried to file a claim online @ www.beginaclaim.com he then called me saying my claim was denied. i was thinking to myself thats impossible cuz the cooling fan is a covered part under the warranty i purchase plan called secure choice. i then started doin some research online i found this site with a bunch of complaints just like mine. this company is very clever in minupulating people into buying false products. can anyone help me in gettin my money back ... im lost!

The Fidelity National Warranty 804 Meadowbrook Dr Suite 100-B Olathe, KS 66062. This is the one that has or should I say was, now it is close down and no longer responsible for all the warranty they have written up over the years. MEPCO Finance Corporation is more than ready to take your money, but can not or will not help, they are not responsible not there problem (I was told this). Call the Claim Dep. or fax I have tried this and the mail boxes is full. You can not speak to a real person because there are no people there to talk too, I think, no I know it is all a front. So if you are one how is making payment you can and should call them and stop paying. Call your bank, stop payments this is your right stop paying for something you will not get when your car..... breaks down. If you one of the who is looking into a warranty stop... don't do it. All of the warrant on the web, look at it and don't pay for some one (to talk you in giving them your hard earned money). If you and me and all the rest who has this (warranty problem) and there are thousands of us out there we can get a lawsuit going, we can stop these people and the corp. who are taking it all and giving nothing but [***] back to us to the warranty holders. Class actions suit my help stop them. I am for this my email is susan.honsinger5@gmail.com. I live in Florida and have paid out over 2000.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for what!!!!!!!!!!!

You're not the first. Fidelity National Warranty is out of business. There are 10000 of fake warranty out there if yours was bad, on Olathe KS and you make payment to MEPCO Finance Corporation call them a stop your payment 1-800-397-6767 then a call to your bank and make sure you are not paying ever more. You have this right, then go after the warranty place and get all of the money back. Good luck.

I also purchased this AA Auto Warranty insurance in 2009. They have denied both my claims, I was told a needed a new torque converter - denied by AA because Jiffy Lube had entered the wrong mileage on one of my oil changes. Then my transmission went completely out, they denied me ($3300) because they say the torque converter control valve is not covered. The FORD (master) mechanic told me "the TCCV is an internal lubricated component inside the transmission(not torque converter)and it should be covered under the AA policy. I would also like to be a part of this class action suit, my home email is eannjim@comcast.net. Please keep me informed if any there are any plans. WOuld be glad to help with the expense of hiring a lawyer.

I purchased a car warranty with Automotive Warranty Solutions. They denied my claim. Policy paid in full. Now they want paid to repair my car due to the fact that I gave the wrong odometer reading on my car which was wrong 960O6. I must been reading the down time for my oil change. The true odometer reading on my car is 76,157. When I brought my car the odometer reading was 36675 in which I purchase on 3/12/2008 and I purchase the warranty on 11/04/2008. Now I am in a bind with this issue. How can I get my money back or my car repair was a honest error.

I am Dealing with the same company's. MEPCO. Consumer Direct Warranty Services and Warranty Assurance.
Mepco and Warranty Assurance says they are suprised at the situation and could only give me the same BS contact information.
I purchased a policy last September and have faithfully paid it on time.(Automatic withdrawl).
I just submitted a claim on my wifes Toyota Corolla on a failling power  motor. Claim was denied even though it clearly states that item is covered in the warranty book.
It is impossible to talk to any one from CDWS Even though the welcoming letter clearly states that you can talk to a "Friendly and Knowlegeable Customer Reps".(800-209-3755) Now they want Documents that are complete (What ever that means) Faxed to another number (530-241-8452) or Email customerservice@cdwsnow.com.
I have just begun the frustrating motions of trying to request a refund (failure to honor the policy)and put a stop to all future payments.
Other Phone numbers and websites are:
www.checkaclaim.com ( my search engines cannot find it)
     http://www.mepco.com
     http://www.beginaclaim.com/
     866-522-5581 To delay payments

Wow!!!!  I have read every single complaint on this site.  The only reason I read them is because I have two cars with consumer direct warranty services as well as the rest of you..  My first claim was denied about three months ago on my truck.   Just today I took my car to the shop.  Well, the shop called, emailed and faxed the people and no respond..   Them they answered the fax and asked for the milage on the car.  Then nothing..  Still waiting..   This is not right..  We should all call HLN..  This should be in the news..  We all need to protect other people that are at the moment spending their hard earned money on this company..   Has anyone one noticed on the book they send you that the company Great Choice was established in 2008.  This product warranty is administrated by CDWS.    This company is a scam!,,to best fit to rob all of us..  Has any one contacted the BBB?    What about a Law class suit?  There are plenty of us?  I will be calling the news paper, news tv if they don't fix my car..   This is not right..   How can they get away with this?  I know it's because we are not standing up to them...     I am ready to lead if I can use the emails on this web page..   Anyone want to help? Reply to my comment..   If we all stand together we can make these people not be in business..   There are to many of us..  Have you all read the rest of the sites about this company?   We all paid to much money to just walk away...  Over $3000.  Yes!  I am very appalled...   Want to help let's do something about it....   Reply to me!!

Same here, paid off Consumer Direct, two items were fixed, one in the beginning, second one last year but took well over a week to get authoritization from them. I call numerous times my dealer called, fax and did every thing they could, then we were told, they would ship the part to the dealer and I had to pay the other half because, they only allowed X amount of monies for certain services, that the dealer charges too much. I received a check for a car rental, due to my phone calls and letter about their service.  Now I need 9 items on my vehicle fixed, ok some I know some are not covered, but an oil pan gasket, according to service department the whole engine needs to be lifted to be replaced $1,000.00.  replace water pump they denied that, if it leaking, it's do to the pump not working properly.  I am no mechanic, but some things are common sense, I am a granny,I learned to fix my frist car in 1965, check levels, tires, gas and oil, maintained my vehicle, replaced belts, both my husband and I have done brakes, idler arms, radiator, even worked on engines and taught our children, what we knew now our grandkids. All I see is denial, denial from each and every company their there to sell you a service then don't follow-up with their promises and deny you at every turn. Help am drowning in scamms it seems that this is the way of the world now.  If any one is really serious about a class action my name can be added. Great Choice is the product and Consumer Direct Warrenty Services handled the payments.

I was screwed over by First Choice Warranty Corporation, Mepco Premium Finance, and Consumer Direct Warranty Services.  All of these companies are in league with each other.  I paid over 800 bucks for a warranty that the salesman promised would cover certain things.  When I filed a claim months later, each and every claim was denied for bogus reasons.  I couldn't even locate a real claims adjuster.  I ended up arguing with the front desk receptionist over the meaning of certain "exclusions".  Here's the specifics:

    According to their claims department:

    •    The leak in the valve gasket is not covered because it is not “an internal component of the engine that requires lubrication for operation.”  Yet, in reading coverage for “Seals & Gaskets”, these are covered if they are seals for “covered components”.  As the name implies, a “valve cover” is a cover for the valves.  Valves are internal components of the engine that require lubrication, and are “Covered Components”.  Thus, the valve cover seal is a failed seal of a Covered Component.  Under CDWS’s overly restrictive reading of the contract, a gasket or seal would never be covered since a gasket or seal, by itself, is not an internal component that requires lubrication for operation.  Coverage is further narrowed by additional language excluding any incidental, consequential, or subsequent damage to any component of the vehicle, covered or not covered, making the warranty completely illusory.  The placement of this exclusion in the “Covered Components” section instead of where it should be, e.g. the “Exclusions” section is particularly deceptive and misleading to the consumer.

    •    My claim for replacement of the suppressor wires was denied on the grounds that it was not listed as a Covered Component under the “Electrical” definition.  Yet, in reading what items are covered under “Electrical”, none of the electrical components would really be covered in light of FCWC’s sweeping exclusion for “electrical equipment, including, but not limited to . . . wiring or wiring harness . . .”  By removing coverage for electrical wiring, I cannot think of one component of any vehicle that would really be covered by the warranty.  This is especially true since the claims representatives are given unlimited authority to make it up as they go with the “including, but not limited to” exclusion verbiage deceptively placed on page 7, not on page 4 under “Exclusions” where the average consumer would expect to find it.

    •    With respect to the catalytic converter, the salesman expressly stated to me that this was a covered component.  But, they denied it anyway.

I ended up with a $4000 repair bill that they refused to pay anything on.  When I sent them a demand for repayment, MEPCO told me that First Choice had "gone out of business" and that they couldn't help me either.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SLEAZEBAGS AT ALL COSTS.
