It's only a scam if you DO NOT read the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page! People these days are to LAZY to read everything. When was the last time that you got something off the internet without agreeing to the Terms? Even Amazon.com and eBay.com have Terms! For those of you who are complaining of scams, SHHHHHH! You are doing it to yourselves!

I just today got screwed again as I put in a claim with my bank as I had used my debit card and the bank refunded my money,  but had to go thru a Dispute Resolution service that took 4 months and guess what? The crooks won after all as the bank had no choice but to return thier $89.31 to them because I hadnt got ahold of them in the 14 days. Same thing happened as i never did get thru to the people as they had me on hold for over an hour every time I called.   What ticks me off too is that i was charged that money before the 14 days and recieved the next shipment, which i sent back at the cost of ten dollars. They are big time crooks and need to be stopped!!

Same happened to me. I went online through my Facebook advertisment and try a free trial of WU YI green tea and Acai Berry Power 500. I agreed on paying 3.99 for shipping, but that's all. I made that payment on Sunday October the 5th. On October the 6th I checked my bank account and I could see 4 misterious payments.
    MY VIP FIT    3.95 USD
    DRI*REG.NET   5.99 USD
    DRI*REG.NET  34.95 USD
    DRI*REG.NET   7.99 USD

Today, October the 7th, I got a call from them asking me if I wanted more products which I said NO. I asked that person for a cancelation number and he gave me 1 800 919 2846 number, so I did call and they told me they were just going to refund me the $34.95 amount.
Then I called to WU YI (1 866 444 1837) and cancelled even the trial. They promised they won't charge anything in the future.
Then I called another number 1 801 208 7485, appearently this is MY VIP FIT and they will refund me the 3.95 fee. So the 5.99 and 7.99 nobody will payme back for those and their system can't see those payments.. HA! But my bank statement clearly shows THE SAME COMPANY and that money is missing in my account.
Hopefully I will get the refund, I have their names and confirmation numbers, they told me I will get my money back in 7 days.
Well... at the end is just going to cost me 15.00 to realize that i NEVER ever gonna buy ANYTHING from "unknown" sites or try free trials in my life!

I used to work for this company as a CSR. All you have to really do is threaten the BBB, they dont like that. If that doesnt work ask to speak with a manager. Threaten the same thing, BBB. If they are being dicks alls you have to do then is call your CC company and file a chargeback. That costs the company $35 each time, Then make sure you change your credit card number because they will try to reverse the charge back. The owners name is Brian BUG HIM!

Today we received a "free sample" of a product neither myself nor my husband ordered. The insert threatens to bill us if we don't jump through their hoops to cancel. We've never heard of this product, researched it, or requested  *any* free samples over the internet or via telephone. This is a complete scam and we are lodging fraud complaints with the US Postal Service,  as well as the State Attorney Generals' offices in Florida (where the package originated from) and our home state. We never agreed to any terms or conditions because we did not enter into any business relationship with this company. Ever. If our credit card is somehow eventually charged, the problem is even bigger because that means someone has obtained our credit card information illegally. Very disturbing.

I also was caught by the tempting 'get a free trial' offer.  I never even got the free trial sample , was then charged because I did not cancel in time.  Apparently my refund is coming..1 week to go.  But now I  found a charge for 8.51$ to pricelimbo.com.  another company that is solely internet based.  I can't get a real person to speak to.  I think I have cancelled on line, but I am skeptical. Does anybody have an addresss for Acai berry?  My bank said I should send them a written note, but no one will give me an address when I actually get someone on the phone.

That is bologna!! I was nice and explained what had happened to me.  I saw no where on the free trial offer that is was a recurring shipment etc.  I got nowhere with the so-called customer service people.  I even asked for a supervisor and the lady "Karen" told me that they were not there-they were in a meeting and I would be put on hold for 2 hours.  I had already waited and listened to music for an hour and 10 min before I even got to speak with her.  I reported this company to the BBB in Utah as this company keeps moving as to not be caught-REPORT THEM NOW!  I am disputing and my credit company is trying to get my money back too.

The same thing happened to me, I did the trial for $3.95, and now I am holding on the phone for over 15 minutes no one is answering. This is BS, yes I am dumb and should have read the terms and conditions, but on the other hand how ignorant is it to make the canceling process so difficult. I hope this company gets shut down and is made to quit running advertisements online. I have definitely learned my lesson and will never do this again.

    NOT scamming myself!
It does no good to read the terms and conditions if the number you are to call to cancel is disconnected. When a company uses unethical practices, it is NOT the consumers's fault. Whther or not we take time to read the policies - and of course we should- this company is ripping people off and no, you did not do it to yourself!
So Erin, please get over yourself, and if you can't offer a constructive way for people to get their money back, just don't bother saying anything.

The numbers on this site and the one in my bank account are all disconnected or busy. How does anyone ever get through to this company? There is NO WAY I can stay on the phone for hours - I have 6 kids!

    I agree!
Well said "NOT scamming myself." These people are horrible, and I refuse to get ripped off by them. I am contacting the BBB, and sending a certified letter to the creeps. I will, however, take a much closer look at what and whom I am ordering merchandise from online.

It's a scam, but can be dealt with.
If you go online and enter Acaiberry scam, also enter all of the telephones given to cancel, there is more than one, you will bring up several online posts of people complaining about this scam.  What you NEED TO DO to protect yourself, is call your credit card holder, inform them you have been scammed, and unauthorized charges will be charged on your account.  They will agree to shut down your credit card number and issue you another number.  This way NO company can further charge you.  Also, your bank will file a complaint with the company.  FitFactory and Price Limbo will also be charging your account, not just Extreme Acaiberry or Diet Store Offers.

I finally got through to the 877-350-8480 number to cancel.  My first request was DENIED as I was informed it was too early for me to call, I had to wait out the 14 days listed in their terms and conditions.  However, this goes against their T&C as it clearly states to "cancel within the 14 days."  I was hung up on by the first customer service rep.  It took about 5 more hours before I was able to get through to this number.  I finally spoke to a nice rep who informed me my account had already been cancelled, and then gave me a cancellation confirmation number.

All in all, Diet Order Stores, Extreme Acaiberry Power 500, Hoodicore, Nubodi, (they are different names, locations, and telephone numbers!), only got $1 out of me.  But, if millions of people are falling for this dishonest diet pill transaction, that's millions of dollars in their pockets.  They are MAKING money off of this.  The credit card number they have on file for me is no longer valid, so the can't further charge me, but they also cannot credit my account due to the cancellation.  I am fine with that.  The principle here being they were stopped in my case before the worst happened.

I have found through this whole order that scammers, hackers, copy legit business web sites and add filters to them to filter your personal information into their records, selling off your credit card information.  That is how the additional charges of things you did not order come about to your charge accounts.  Actually this happened to me 2 years ago when I filled out an online TJ Maxx sweepstakes on the TJ Maxx web site.  By giving my name, address, tele#, and e-mail address, the scammers were able to switch my long distance service without my knowledge or approval.  This was reported to TJ Maxx whom later informed me they were receiving several complaints of the same ordeal and had NO sweepstakes on their web site, apparently it had been illegally filtered.  And then shortly after this happened came the computer scam of TJ Maxx.  So, they are out there.  These scams don't just come via web sites, scammers can scam in different ways.  I found through 20/20 that programs are avail that scammers can get to sit outside parking lots of huge companies like Home Depot and scan that store's computer system for customer info and obtain it!!!!!!  Retailers can stop this by purchasing security system to stop it, but it's expensive and more retailers don't do it, although knowing what can happen if they don't! This is SAD!

Enough said!  I spent 6.5 hours of my personal time getting this scam ironed out.  It's ridiculous!

I have one for you - someone stole my credit card number and sent for this free trial thing.  I didn't even realize it till yesterday when this free sample I never asked for arrived in the mail.

I had canceled my credit card weeks ago because there were other fraudulent charges as well, all on the same one day.  So far I've only been charged the $3.95 shipping fee, which I'm also disputing.

Called and called and called the "cancellation" phone number, and never got an answer.  I'm taking the advice of the person who advised sending a certified letter, and keeping a copy for the credit card company as well.  What a bunch of creeps.

I feel like I'm a pretty informed consumer, but apparently, this is what happened to me:

I have found through this whole order that scammers, hackers, copy legit business web sites and add filters to them to filter your personal information into their records, selling off your credit card information.  That is how the additional charges of things you did not order come about to your charge accounts.

Thanks for the information.  Fortunately, as I said below, I figured out there were fraudulent charges on the very same day they were made and canceled the card.
