Calls several times a week - calls arrive at approx the same time each evening around 8:00 PM central time. Phone rings 4-5 rings always just short of the answering machine picking up.  How do they get away with calling when I am on the government and state do not call lists?

    I worked at GAD for about a month and they treat their employees like absolute garbage.  I considered myself a nice telemarketer cause I wouldn't just shove stuff down people's throat.  It's not a scam or anything, you'll actually get what you ordered, but never give them an email address.  The best thing to do is be nice and just ask to have your name off the list, it should take about 24-72 hours to process.  But seriously never work there, the supervisors are all mean uneducated people.  I was just working there for a summer job in between semesters and I honestly felt like I was the most educated person in the whole building.  Some of you guys were complaining about the fact that they're all felons, but the people working there are all really nice, lol it's the supervisors that are awful.

    Just like you we work for a living. Some of us have families to just ordinary people trying to pay bills. Its not our fault that Graven is the only place that will higher us in a days notice we will have a job by the end of the night. We do not control how the automated system calls people, so DON'T take it out on us. Don't you think that if you are kind and say no in a nice way we will actually put you on the DNC list. No need to be mean. How would you feel is you cussed one of us out and at the end of the day you could have been the one to stop us from doing something stupid. Think about that the next time you guys are really rude. Remember WWJD. I work there and I am NOT a felon.

      BS. YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING. STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY AND GO BACK TO READING (i.e. It's hire not higher)  Please retake that GED test again and leave us alone.

    How sad
    I finally picked up the phone when these scumbag called yesterday morning. The rep identified himself as Pat and said he was calling on behalf of my subscription to "Cooks Illustrated." He then asked me how my day was, I told him how I had asked them to stop calling and I was about ready to cancel my subscription, and he hung up! I called Cooks Illustrated's toll-free phone number, and that rep said it was a telemarketing company pretending to be them! I'm not sure how this can be, especially since they knew my name (the phone is under my husband's name only) and that I had a subscription. I told her if my name wasn't placed on the do-not-call list and the calls ceased, we'd be facing some major issues. She said she placed it on there, so let's see. Only time will tell!

    Is the web poage for the Southern Colorado Better Business Bureau.  G,A&D has several complaints filed against them.

    I have been getting calls from G,A&D also.  When I answer the phone, they hang up!!  What's with that?  The phone number they have been calling me from is 515-200-1288 and the name that comes up on my phone is Algona.  STRANGE!  When I called that number, I got a recording saying I reached the Do Not Call line for Graven, Austin and Drake.  When I googled them, I got a list of web sites including this one.  I have added the number to my Call Blocking feature on my phone and also reported them to the National Do Not Call Registery.

    Don't know who you are and don't want to be called again!  You call everyday and I am sick of it!  This morning you called at 8:15a.....if this number rings my number again, I will report to the FCC and BBB.

    Quailified Remodeler Magazine calling to renew subscription for someone who retired 9 years ago. Told them we are not interested three times.

    These crooks call me everyday and never leave a message.  What they are doing is ILLEGAL since I'm on the (LOL) Don't (LOL) Call (LOL) List (LOL).

    Apparently they buy subscription lists from magazine publishers. The AG caller told me because I subscribe to (x) I'm on their "preferred subscribers list". I can't fault them for trying to make a buck in this lousy   economy. I'm more concerned about the privacy policies of publishers.

    From this message board, I can see the Austin Graven has been calling people for six years and yet our Do Not Call list does nothing.

    Why do we pay taxes?  Why can't you stop an organization that's been doing this since 2008?!

    Hmmm I work there and I am not a felon nor have really been in any trouble with the law ....but I know many friends who have been and struggle to be accepted by society ....but [***] society that's why the world is such a mess....who made you judge ..jury or executioner??? I give props to graven for helping people that's really why we are on earth to help our fellow man so telemarketers need to eat to u self centered [***] ... you hateful idiots will be the ones beatin on our doors for a hand when the rapture happens watch the movie LEFT BEHIND!!! Cruz that's how we feel around you!!! GOD loves us so change your selfish thinking!!!  Peace out!!!
