Calls several times a week - calls arrive at approx the same time each evening around 8:00 PM central time. Phone rings 4-5 rings always just short of the answering machine picking up.  How do they get away with calling when I am on the government and state do not call lists?

    So yes to all my GAD fans it is I BiGG DaWg! this place is not as bad as the woman above has made it seem. Yes it is a cut throat workplace where you are either going to make the grade or be let go for someone who can get the job done. I worked at Graven , Austin, Drake for 1 year and in that time moved up in the company and found the work very rewarding. I also had been convicted as a felon and am extremely grateful for the oppertunity that Mr. Graven gave me as well as others. I think that the woman above is just one of the people who couldnt make the sales and is now trying to slander the name of GAD. I was a manager for 7 months and never saw anything but professionalism from all my fellow managers. So get a life and stop harrassing a great company in the Colorado Springs area!

      Well that may be true.  But this so called great company you speak of has no right to keep calling people, especially when they are on the National Do not Call list.  I will file every complaint against the company, through what ever reporting system I must do.  Now that I've verified my number is and has been on the do not call list.  And since I have notified GAD Marketing to never call me again.  My next step is to take them through the judicial system.  And don't worry, they may have money, so do I and I can wait this out for as long as possible. And since I work here in D.C. I will start to lobby to have this companay that you say is so great investigated.  I am glad to see that they do try and help out convicted individuals, and I guess that all depends on what the individual was convicted of.  I'm sure they will not hire everyone that is convicted of crimes etc...

      So your comment/s are well taken.  But they do not have the right to continue calling folks!!!

        I had JUST started working there a couple of days ago and was told in training that there was ONLY one question we had to ask word for word. Well no-one said anything to me on Thursday then Friday I had only 2 bad calls from Thursday (what I was told) then Friday they are claiming I had several pulls about the question I apparently was not asking in which I was. I felt harassed, like a piece of garbage from the team managers and from the supervisor. They were ALL standing behind me, listening to me when I was on a call then when I was speaking with a customer they would try to talk to me, i have worked for call centers for over 10 years and there is an appropriate time for them to talk with you not when you are on a call. My first day on the floor he yelled and gave me attitude because every computer I tried would not work. Then I get there in the morning and was on one of the campaigns and was told to go to a different one. I then was being harassed saying I was saying to much for my pitch which is so wrong. I was reading EVERYTHING on the script. Then I got like 5 sales and was in the middle of getting another one when they decided to log me out in the middle of the call. I sat there for about 10 minutes and the team manager came and took me in a room and said I was terminated. I have never worked in such a unprofessional, dirty and disorganized place in my whole time I have worked. The supervisors use profanity and do not know how to communicate. The 2nd day I was there someone was drunk and was puking in the break room garbage can. I also had called a friend who was in my training class and she said as soon as I got fired they moved in on her with attitude, and just being mean to her. Like I said I had no problems with my coworkers. They are there trying to make their lives better but the training says one thing then you get told another. The supervisors have no class. Hell one gets high. I would never work there again and I have filed a complaint with the bbb about this company. They need to stop treating people like garbage and treat the ones that are there with more respect

        Listen I have been with GAD for a couple months now.... We are  just going our job just like everyone else.... I understand that it gets annoying that we call everyday.... We don't can and hang up if they was true no one would be working there.... Yes its a little ghetto but not every place is a winner.. I'm a hard working mother of a threw year old and when I moved here to Colorado this is ask I could find... Instead of treating ppl like [***] y don't you guys think about the person your talking to... How do you know its not someone you know and you guys are being so hateful towards them.... What I'd you had to work here think about that everyone on here I'd being selfish.... Just tell them to not can again you specifically have to stay out me on the do not call list and the will... I try to help pole like you on the phone but usually I get "[***] you [***] stop calling" now is that anyway to treat anyone if you ask me that scum.. You guys hang up on is ask the time.... What ever happened to the golden rule if there is a complaint to be made you should take it up with yourself ghost. I'm very professional while on the phone... Some of your receptionist and Employees should be fired for how ride they are... It don't matter who they are talking to they should be professional as well. Think about the ppl who are calling they r someone's mother father sister brother aunt uncle grandma it could even be someone you know!!!!

      SCUM COMPANY!!! Trying to rip people off. Found out from a company they are scamming people. These people need to get a real life and job ,. Also you might want to read the MANY people who have been scammed also.

    I too have been getting these calls, and was glad to find this site. I have NOTHING against hiring anyone who needs a second chance, let alone a job period, but what I have a problem with, is them imposing on me in MY home, on MY time at night with NO answer from them when I answer. My sister lives in Colorado, and I was worried that it was something to do with her, but found out that's a NO! I've been hedging on paying my phone company for the star feature that tracks them, then prosecutes them for harassment, but I will now. It's worth it for my peace of mine AND for letting them know how it feels!

    By the way, they must have a whole BANK of numbers, since my number was similar to MD's, but with one number's difference.

    Receiving calls almost daily sometimes more than once in one day, am handicapped and ill do not need this harrasment from suchcompanies. Apparently it is of no use to be on no call lists for the calls continue even after updating on the NO CALL list. Glad I found this site and able to register a complaint.

    Sick & Tired of it!
    I get calls EVERY DAY and am sick and tired of these calls. Even if I answer they hang up! This is totally absurd...
    I agree with the first person... "DO ANYTHING YOU CAN TO SHUT THEM DOWN"....

      Evidently they can and do get away with this as your post was 2010 and now it is 2013 and they are still pulling the same crap.

    We have been the recipient of numerous calls from this firm.  If they call us again we will notify the MO State Attorney General's office which has very successfully persuaded other callers like them to cease and desist!

    Graven Austin & Drake, Inc. is a dirt bag scum company. They should publicly hang the owner and supervisors for their telemarketing tactics. The so called tough guys aren't so tough when you put them against the wall in front of a firing squad. Shame they have to harass little the common work class.

    Finally decided to Goggle this name that kept calling...Wow! I am not alone
    in getting the non stop calling for weeks on end now. I have caller id and never answer but they are relentless! Wish they would get a life!

    I, too have been receiving daily calls.  What are they selling????  I have answered one time, and they hung up.
